“Earth hasn’t even seen a Heaven Demon invasion yet… Where did you get that many merit points? Wait—are you… one of the Gods’ Children?!”

Endless Rift stumbled back, utterly stunned, retreating several steps until he slammed into the wall.

“Gods’ Child? You mean one of their brats?”

Orson’s smile turned icy. “Are you insulting an orphan who never had parents?”

Sienna pinched the back of his hand, clearly displeased. Orson scratched his cheek, a bit embarrassed, then straightened up. “Make that two.”

“Saint Lord-Class… Then fight me! I’ll show you the difference in power!”

Endless Rift’s voice thundered as golden divine light erupted from his single eye. The entire underground sanctuary began to crack and buckle beneath the pressure of his aura. He raised his fist and slammed it forward—BOOM!—blowing a hole straight through hundreds of meters of reinforced concrete.

As a Primordial Titan, the gods’ finest living weapon, he had never feared any foe. Every adventurer who reached King rank in the Titan World had one thing in common: they climbed over piles of Heaven Demon corpses and the bodies of their own kin.

Battle was their most primal instinct.

“You Earthlings love to gamble. Why don’t we make a wager? If you lose, I’ll spare your life. All I ask is that you sacrifice the Phoenix. I’ll still take you with me when I leave this dying world. How’s that sound?”

Endless Rift’s voice was calm, but the pressure emanating from his body was monstrous.

Orson stared at him, smirking. This Titan wasn’t irrational, but that smug, domineering attitude grated on his nerves.

“Fine. And if you lose?”

“Me? Lose?” Endless Rift laughed darkly. “One of the Gods’ Children once tried to enslave me. I tore his body apart and left him bleeding across the starfield.”

“Sounds intense… but why should I care?”

Orson shrugged. “Let me spell it out for you: if you stand against me, there are only two outcomes. You become my slave… or you die.”

“You arrogant little—”

Furious, Endless Rift bent his knees and launched himself like a missile, soaring straight through the collapsed ceiling and out into the open air.

“You’ll see just how arrogant I am.”

Orson snorted coldly, grabbed Sienna, and leapt onto Aeloria’s back, shooting up in pursuit.

Aboveground, the chaos had only intensified. Every nation had stationed elite forces around the underground base. SteelWolf’s mind-control broadcasts played on repeat, filling the air with static and confusion.

Warzone Channel:

“Contact with Parlenzo has been lost—the base has fallen!”

“Immediate evac! Broadcast the US betrayal to the global network! Establish a provisional government and form an emergency cabinet!”

Rusina’s Air Force One soared through the sky. Vice President Jella now sat in the presidential seat—but she felt no triumph.

With most adventurer guilds surrendering, Rusina was one step away from becoming a government-in-exile. Her only hope now was to travel to other allied warzones and convince their leaders to rally together—maybe then she’d have a shot at taking down the imposter SteelWolf… and Orgod.

But the other world leaders remained lukewarm and distant.

“Madam President, there’s still one ace up our sleeve,” said a man approaching her with a calm, measured tone.

It was Noxter, an S-class Awakened and the Guildmaster of Flamefang Knights—a guild funded by the military and staffed entirely by U.S. veterans. Among the elite, they were one of the few guilds that had refused to surrender.

Their previous Guildmaster, Yas, had been obliterated by Orson in a single strike. Their grudge ran deep.

“You mean the Astrologer—Endless Rift?” Jella hesitated.

Noxter nodded. “His power exceeds that of any adventurer. If he fights for us, we cannot lose.”

“But… he demands a God-class creature, doesn’t he?”

“Exactly. And as you saw—we don’t have what he needs.”

Jella’s face darkened. Even if Endless Rift was powerful, he was useless if he refused to act.

“Don’t forget, Madam President,” Noxter whispered as he leaned closer, a crooked smile spreading across his face. “We still have the Human Continuity Initiative.”

Their bodies brushed. The presidential guards turned a blind eye—it was clear the two had personal ties.

“Send word to the Sword Soul Guild twins in the NR Warzone,” Noxter said. “Tell them we can help them escape Earth before the apocalypse. According to intel, they’ve enslaved a God-tier creature. There’s no way they’ll refuse this offer.”

“You think…” Jella’s eyes lit up with dark resolve. Her icy gaze sharpened as she smiled. “Alright. Let’s do it your way.”

Despite being over fifty and not an adventurer herself, Jella still kept herself well-maintained. She wrapped her arms around Noxter’s neck with forced affection.

Noxter stiffened slightly and pulled away, his face unreadable.

Jella’s eyes flashed with bitterness but she didn’t press it. She knew full well—she was just a means to an end. No one would help a dethroned president for free.

But before she could say another word—

A piercing dragon roar shattered the calm. Outside, a flash of radiant gold lit the sky like midday.

Creeeeeeak…

Suddenly, the body of Air Force One began turning golden. Jella clutched Noxter’s arm in panic, survival instincts flooding her aged eyes.

“Hello, ladies and gentlemen. Please prepare for your crash landing.”

A greasy voice rang out. Noxter whipped around and saw a scruffy figure grinning and waving at them.

His face turned pale. “Godslayer’s Vice Leader… and the Dragon King, Quarla!”

Madman rode atop Quarla as golden winds tore across the sky. Quarla opened its maw.

“Dragon Curse: Gravity Implosion!”

Without hesitation, the Dragon King unleashed an S-class spell—no warnings, no mercy.

“NOXTER!” Jella shrieked, her nails digging into his arm, eyes full of panic and desperation.

“I’m sorry,” Noxter whispered, voice full of righteousness. “I must survive. I need to carry the flame of civilization.”

But the cowardice was written all over his face.

He pulled out a random teleport scroll and vanished in a flash of white light.

Jella screamed in despair.

She had finally seized the presidency—but her reign ended after less than five minutes.

BOOM!

Air Force One exploded mid-air, engulfed in blinding golden flames. Jella and her entire cabinet were vaporized.

At the same time, just outside the underground base—

“Let it begin! The strongest warrior on Earth!”

Endless Rift’s true form stood tall beneath the sky, his presence drawing gasps of awe.

“The gods are watching! We are not forsaken!”

Bathed in golden light, the Titan’s towering figure looked like something out of myth.

Countless soldiers and adventurers fell to their knees in worship, their voices trembling with reverence. And when they saw his opponent—

Orgod.

Their hearts pounded wildly.

If no adventurer on Earth could stop Orgod…

Then a god from the Titan World would finish what they could not.
