Infinite Mana In The Apocalypse

Chapter 4673: We All Fall Down II

Chapter 4673: We All Fall Down II

"Oh, Existence stopped spinning round and round,

And we all fell down, we all fell down.

But somewhere in the ashes on the ground,

A single seed was found, a seed was found."

The symphony continued its slow advance across Existence as many listened, its melancholic beauty touching every corner of Observable Existence that still remained.

One body of Noah remained drinking in the region of collapse near the prison containing Schrodinger.

He knew the gaze of THE Living Paradox was in there, and the only reason he was standing anywhere this close was because Existence, or really THE Creature, still suppressed THE Living Paradox and other opposing THEs from expressing their power. At least for now.

After The Fallout, the rules of Existence would greatly change.

So this time may be the only time to get a chance of a discussion with THE Living Paradox before this being began hunting him after The Fallout, if he even remained on his radar.

At this time, Noah sent a drink toward the body of Schrodinger in the cage. Shockingly, Schrodinger calmly accepted it in his seated position and began to drink as if this were the most natural thing in the world.

His eyes remained filled with a light of immensity and calmness, and in there, only the light of Paradox remained.

At this time, in The First Tongue, THE Living Paradox spoke as he listened to the symphony playing out in the surroundings.

|There was a creature made of light and pain, who gave away his heart to ease the strain. And paradox came dancing in the rain, saying ’Nothing gold can ever remain.’ Your symphony says Paradox came, but what if I had always been there? Even before THE Creature.|

WAA!

The words of Paradox were heavy to hear as Noah drank from his cup silently, and Paradox continued.

Sometimes, he found that some truly powerful entities liked to ramble. They would give you more information while rambling than if you had asked directly. So let this man ramble as much as he wants.

|When trying to avoid something, entities more often than not cause that thing to come even faster,| THE Living Paradox continued with a voice that held the weight of eons. |The Fallout was years away and would have remained that way. But something began moving around, presumably trying to avoid it. And yet their actions brought it even faster than ever. Faster than supposed to be. In trying to survive The Fallout, you and whatever other factors popped up accelerated it tremendously to the extent it is now here. THE Primordial Chaos whispered in my ear not too long ago, talking about anomalies and competitors for The Oldest Paradox of Existence. Beings laying claim to The First Tongue. Beings appearing across time itself. All of these factors, all of these movements, all of these struggles to survive what was coming actually made it come faster. It’s crazy stuff, really.|

...!

Toward such words, Noah took his drink and scoffed. He paid particular attention to the mention of THE Primordial Chaos! That fucker was truly here?

"You are the one actively moving it closer and even instigating it, but the blame lies on others and me?" he said with a voice that held no fear. "Come on, big guy. You have been planning and doing this for eons now. You built THE Loom. You imprisoned THE Creature. You set up the conditions for The Fallout to even be possible. And now you want to pin the acceleration on those of us who are simply trying to not die from your machinations?"

At such words, the figure of Schrodinger that THE Living Paradox was seeing through smiled as he looked at Noah up and down with renewed interest.

|You are actually a very interesting anomaly to observe,| Paradox said with something approaching appreciation. |You may have made a claim on The First Tongue, but you are young. You appear across history, but you remain young. And I say young in terms of experience. I say young in terms of what you have truly experienced. Because even I, when I was like you, nearly perished dozens of times. Countless close calls where that would have been it for little old me. For the peasant that dared to dream. So while I am a little interested in exactly what you might be able to accomplish, I am not sure whether you will survive even a few days in the Weavings of Existence of The Fallout.|

BOOM!

The words were extremely terrifying ones as Noah took them in calmly and sipped on his drink once more before he turned his gaze over to THE Living Paradox.

"By the way," Noah said with a smile that held no deference, "while you and THE Creature are having your showdown, do you want to be so kind as to give me a glimpse of what I can expect of The Fallout? You all are the big guys that are going to be fighting for Existence while the rest of us are just the little fish swimming in a large pond. Can you spare a few words to enlighten me on exactly what is coming?"

...!

The scene itself continued to increase in how incredulous it was, because what entity would dare be talking to THE Living Paradox like this so casually, even if they thought there were contingencies in place?

Exactly who would be so bold?

And yet Noah did it as THE Living Paradox looked him over up and down before he smiled again with that terrifying expression that held appreciation for audacity.

|There will not be a pond for any fish to be swimming,| Paradox replied with cold certainty. |It will be constantly burning and boiling Existence with extremes of everything in place as The Fallout will be the environment to allow for progression toward the Scale that none of us have grasped yet. Well, not fully anyways for some of us. Whatever you think you know of Existence at this moment in time will absolutely not be the Existence that you come across in The Fallout. Even I hold a slight sense of apprehension in exactly what will happen in all of this as I can tell you now... I actually cannot guarantee my own survival. So what exactly does that say about you?|

BOOM!

...!
