Infinite Mana In The Apocalypse

Chapter 3741: Days of Quintessence V

Chapter 3741: Days of Quintessence V

Heavy resistance.

This was what Noah felt in his hands as he grabbed the Minor Calcified Paradoxical Wheel, but even with its heavy resistance… what his lineage could carry was utterly astounding as he smoothly and very easily brought the Wheel down and slotted it in the black earth below!

HUUM!

A light ringing echoed out as he felt an obsidian gold light descend from above.

It landed on him, becoming infused into his Null Form as he instantly felt a Mark seared into him like a brand of silent triumph.

He felt his very essence of Lineage tighten, distort, and refine.

Threads of chaos compressed into harmony. Purity sharpened. Complexity aligned. His existence hummed, less vast compared to before, but much more lethal.

A smile formed as he sensed that his PQ and CQ had not raised at all, but had actually decreased by a few hundred.

And yet the true Complexity and Purity of his Lineage was even more potent.

Compression and optimization.

He felt it burn across him as he looked at his status panel.

The Mark of the Folds was unique as it compressed and made his power even tighter and visualizing it… he noticed its tendency to compress the Source Values towards the same numerical sequence.

But truly because of a single mark, he had become one of the Marked Ones of the Folds, and his entire weavings of existence had begun to undergo a resonance of compression and reforging as even though his Source Values were becoming seemingly lower, his actual power that was reflected on the second set of numbers in the parentheses was actually becoming higher and higher.

He nodded at the changes that he felt as he proceeded to look up and gaze at Caelnor of the Destifolds.

He was in a good mood at finding this place that could not be sought by anyone, a place that was so unique and special across the Nullvein Gravewake Folds that even powerful Primarchs were searching for it but they were never able to find it.

And its undeniable weavings were so powerful that even beings at the stage of Primarchs would only have to adhere to it.

Paired with the Marks of the Folds, it seemed like he was primed to use this opportunity to obtain a unique level and method of power unique across the Folds.

So, he turned toward Caelnor of the Destifolds with a questioning and innocent gaze as he spoke.

"Hmm… Brother, did you lie to me? You made it seem like that Minor Calcified Paradoxical Wheel would actually be an impossible task. It seems like even someone as small as me can do it?"

…!

His words echoed out questioningly as he caused the two Dead and one Living Thing to be utterly stunned with no words to say.

They had pulled that Minor Calcified Paradoxical Wheel many times before to try and get that single Mark of the Folds.

The Wheels and the Pillars in the surroundings would regenerate over time after they were slotted and claimed as many generally waited to refine their power and become even stronger around Wheel or Pillar.

So they knew how impossibly heavy it was.

And yet… Caelnor came out of his stupor as he looked at Noah's Null Form and spoke in a daze.

"Brother… how did you do that?"

"What do you mean? I just pulled it down. You guys have been playing around this whole time." Noah blinked while looking at his Null Form and shaking his head, turning his head elsewhere.

And yet Caelnor of the Destifolds scratched his beard with denial as he looked between Noah's Null Form and his own Null Form.

3 Inches, 40 inches.

To him, it did not make sense that Noah was able to pull down that Calcified Paradoxical Wheel.

Noah looked past the two Dead and single Living Thing here as he went further in, a few gazes having been turned towards his direction that were also looking at him with confounding shock as nobody understood how someone with such a small Null Form could have pulled down even 1 Nulltonian Unit of Existence.

He walked across the obsidian Earth of this place as the figure of Caelnor of the Destifolds began to follow behind as if he wanted to continue observing the freakishness of what he just did.

And Noah was humming calmly as he came towards a region that had a massive vertical black pillar that was split in half and floating a meter away from each half.

|Minor Calcified Paradoxical Pillar– 5 Nulltonian Unit of Existence. 5 Marks of the Folds.|

It was something unbearably heavier as surrounding it were all Harmonized Sourcebound Icon Dead and Living Things who had Null Forms gloriously massive at 60 or 70 Inches.

Noah nodded towards these beings in this region that mixed freely with each other with no conflict as he spoke out.

"You guys don't mind if I give this a go, right? This Brother behind me made it seem like these Calcified Paradoxical Wheels and Pillars are actually impossible to pull, bear or lift."

He spoke nonchalantly to the Dead and the Living here, a mixture of skeletal entities, a humanoid tree, and a woman adorned in a crimson dress.

The woman scoffed while shaking her head as she spoke out while observing Noah's small Null Form.

"You can try as much as you want, but this has the weight of 5 Nulltonian Units of Existence, and it requires you to push together the cleaved pillar as you have to apply such a force with each hand. You think your small form will truly be able to…!"

Noah knew that people loved to talk and be skeptical, especially when it came to things that were common sense to them.

So he did not let this woman even finish talking as he came ahead and put his hands on both sides of the shattered pillar, crackling obsidian lightning exploding between his hands and the pillar as he felt this light resistance that was deemed almost nothing by his lineage, as in one single motion, he brought his hands together.

BOOM!

The two sides of the paradoxical pillar smashed into each other and became fused as they radiated an obsidian golden light that eventually shot out and came to land on Noah's body.

HUUM!

He felt that same grandiose feeling of compression and empowerment as he could not help but breathe out in contentment.

The impact this time had drawn even more gazes as those who had been lounging in this area trying to bring together the pillar that now disappeared into wisps of obsidian gold brilliance looked towards Noah with dazed eyes as those in the surroundings also began to turn toward his direction.

He did not plan to act as a protagonist here today, but with how astounding his lineage was paired with his small form, that would naturally draw the ire and mocking… it looked like he was about to play the role of a protagonist, whether he wanted to or not.
