Chapter 1085: Human Supremacy, Till The End
Chapter 1085: Human Supremacy, Till The End
State of Harmony—Future Sight!
Tertiary Nature—Thought Condensation!
Appearing above a forest path, Orakha grunted and dropped a mountain range, curving it in the sky into a somewhat helical pattern. He then overlaid it with mist and created a racetrack mountain range. To enhance the trap, he mimicked the terrain of the Guna Caves.
Immediately after finishing the setup, he continued flying. Occasionally, a Rirenal Spirit Weapon flew towards him, designed as a syringe, containing concentrated tree sap.
He flushed it down his throat and watched his Prana levels begin to recover quickly. Next, he arrived before a valley and caused a volcanic eruption in its lowermost corner, causing the gushing smoke to circulate through the valley and create a powerful updraft.
The valley was shaped like a circle, with its trough having a wide bottom and a narrow top. This created a thin section for the smoke to gush out, which raised its pressure. He harnessed the volcano’s capacity to gush out toxic fumes and funnelled it out through the valley’s top.
This created a conical updraft strong enough to push someone heavy into the air. Upon creating it, he used Future Sight.
“At most…” He uttered, running a simulation where the Brood Mother charges into it and gets lifted by the updraft. “I can buy another hour through this.”
“That’s good.” He uttered, “Every hour I buy helps me significantly.”
For a moment, he stared in the direction of the Guna Caves, wondering if he should lure the Brood Mother deep into it. However, a few seconds later, he let go of that plan, “I fear that would only empower her somehow.”
“Dammit!” He cursed in anger, raged for a few seconds, and then focused on the task at hand.
The third trap he laid was a simple pitfall, reaching a depth of 180 kilometres. It was a simple pitfall, with a setup where the top layer of earth would fall into the pit after the Brood Mother fell into it.
This was merely in place to prevent her teleporting means, ’The Transcendent Eater teleports to any spot in its line of sight. The Brood Mother’s power to teleport feels similar, but something else has been added to it. That’s how she’s able to teleport even without the means of sight.’
After the pit, Orakha stopped with the traps, for he felt he had bought enough time with the existing ones. He made turns in the sky and vanished as a golden flash.
In a matter of minutes, he appeared before Ruvva, “You’re still here?”
“What?” Ruvva gasped upon hearing Orakha’s voice in her ears all of a sudden. In the next moment, she was lifted into the sky and transported in the direction of the Brimgan Empire.
“Say!” Orakha asked in a hurry, “Grehha was working on the ovum between…”
“It’s ready!” Ruvva patted her stomach, “I received it right before I left his dungeon.”
“No issues with it?” Orakha asked, but didn’t wait for an answer. He touched Ruvva and activated Future Sight to observe her nervous system, hormonal balance, immune system, her state of being, the condition of the fertilised egg, and every variable that existed in her body.
Steadily, the fertilised egg was being acted upon by her body to remove any and all external influences. And then, it fully integrated with her body. Orakha observed it and then checked on every single possibility related to the egg’s development, until…
Drip!
His eyes teared up, “Thank goodness.”
“Does it work?” Ruvva asked. “Will my…child be born with his talent?”
“You’re talking about someone primarily responsible for creating that monstrous existence.” Orakha pointed in the direction of the Brood Mother’s current position, “So, you needn’t worry.”
“Your child will be the one who leads the Brimgan Empire in the future,” Orakha paused for a few seconds and then asked, “By the way, do you have any plans with Boul Brimgan at the moment?”
“Anything else in store?”
“No,” Ruvva felt puzzled by the question and shook her head, “We don’t have anything else planned at the moment.”
“Good,” Orakha asked as his eyes expressed wariness, “Then I hope you state your farewells.”
“What?” Ruvva blurted in surprise when suddenly, even she struggled to keep track of their motion.
Prana Solidification—Prana Shock!
Prana Solidification—Prana Flash!
Orakha unleashed the two familiar abilities while boosting their power with his Brimgan Guardian Rirenal build, outputting a level of power far beyond what Ruvva could perceive.
In his present state, he was moving at speeds approaching thirty kilometres per second. The sky crackled and produced powerful shockwaves that reached the ground like thunder, even when Orakha travelled at an altitude of 180 kilometres.
Kaboom!
Followed by a golden flash, Orakha landed atop the Brimgan Palace and shouted, “It’s me!”
His skin had peeled off a little from the skin prickle he felt. For exactly four seconds later, a powerful attack would have struck him, ’I haven’t used Future Sight for long here, so I don’t know the details.’
But he knew that the Brimgan Empire had the means to face a Mystic Empyrean Tentacle. His shout was only to ensure he wasn’t targeted by the established defensive means.
He moved through the Brimgan Palace and arrived before the Influenced Region of Golden Deity. There, standing in its mouth, was Boul Brimgan.
“Why do you look distressed even after obtaining the power of the Mystic Empyrean Tentacle?” Boul Brimgan asked, arming up upon seeing Orakha’s fluster.
“Whatever you guys had created at the Kalahatra Desert to ensure the death of the Celestial Boar has…” Orakha shouted, “The Brood Mother is coming here, lured in by you!”
“I see,” Boul Brimgan seemed puzzled for a few seconds before understanding the situation, “Yeah, if it is him, he would definitely create a powerful backup.”
“So, the Celestial Boar is dead, huh?” Boul Brimgan closed his eyes and inhaled a deep breath. He then eyed Ruvva and stared at her stomach, “Is that…?”
“Yes,” Ruvva nodded and pointed at Orakha, “He confirmed the baby will be born as we had wished.”
“My wish…” Boul Brimgan flashed before Ruvva and stopped in closeup, “Was to have an heir capable enough to inherit my legacy, and the legacy of my Ancestors.”
“The Brimgan Empire.”
“But also,” He patted Ruvva, “That heir must be a child that gives you happiness.”
“Live well, in pride, and happiness.” He embraced Ruvva and backed away. There was a flash from the Influenced Region of Golden Deity as suddenly, Boul Brimgan stood there, in his human form.
The last of his Human Avatar shattered away from his body and flowed into the Brimgan Deity.
State of Harmony—Brimgan Deity!
Brimgan Deity—Boul Brimgan!
All it had was Boul Brimgan’s mind, thanks to the sheer level of Mystic Grade Prana. Theoretically, dwelling within the Kinesis Felines part of the build was Boul Brimgan’s mind.
However, that was all. Even this mind was a product of Prana clustered enough while accompanied by Information Slips containing the entirety of his life. They were built into the sentience exhibited by the Kinesis Felines.
It was a new mind moulded to resemble Boul Brimgan.
The actual one though, hadn’t managed to break free from the effects of Unlimited Predator.
“The Brimgan Empire,” Boul Brimgan bellowed, reverberating his voice throughout the Brimgan Empire, for one last time, “Is the greatest Empire on Sumatra.”
“We are…the leader of the Free Human Race!”
He raised his arm into the sky, in pride for the life he had lived. Even though he had made compromises, mistakes, and second-guesses, many times more than the previous generation Brimgan Emperors, he believed he led a life that brought pride to his heritage.
In the end, still embracing Free Human Supremacy, he breathed his last, with a smile, as his body, mind, and soul crumbled into bile. A second later, it dripped deeper into the Golden Giant’s mouth before vaporising.
“He…vanished…” Ruvva muttered, in disbelief, “That Boul Brimgan…vanished just like that…”
Tears streamed down her face as she stared at the place he had stood at moments ago, “He was…just there. How…just how?”
“There’s nothing left of him behind…” She kneeled on the floor, saddened by the horrible reality of the situation. She didn’t feel it would affect her that much while Boul Brimgan was alive. But now, it did.
“Uncle…” Ruvva cried out, “I am weak, Uncle. Against those who are truly strong, I am utterly weak.”
“If you feel that way, then train to grow stronger.” Orakha patted her head. He wanted to console her, but wasn’t in the mindspace for any of that, “You are blessed beyond what anyone on Sumatra could ever hope to attain.”
“Just use your talents to forge a path ahead.” He uttered and vanished, “As for the rest, face it, come what may.”
“After all, the law of survival of the fittest reigns supreme on Sumatra.” He uttered, “I’ve experienced it firsthand too many times to count.”
He quickly flew towards the third tap, the pitfall and stared from above. Even without using any Prana detection means, he relied on the clues left in the surroundings through Future Sight to understand that the Brood Mother was, in fact, now at the bottom of the pit.
’She’s immobile there.’ He heaved a sigh in relief, ’Since her target vanished, she’s probably searching for the next…’
Suddenly appearing on the ground, donning her dress made using strings of Prana created out of the Major Treasure of Palm. Her head was twirling around before focusing on a certain direction. And then, she vanished.
’What the heck is there?’ Orakha couldn’t figure it out and hence kept pace in the sky. But soon, he recalled Sumatra’s map and became even more confused, ’There’s a Mystic Tentacle Ruins in that direction…’
“Oh…shit!” He understood shortly after, “That’s the Ruins of the Mystic Tentacle born during the Grimm Knell Invasion!”
