The instant the four figures opened their eyes, the void twisted.

Deathly mist transformed into a surging river, rushing endlessly before their eyes.

Xu Zimo raised his head and met the gazes of the Four Ultimate Death Gods. Invisibly, tremendous forces collided with one another.

“You passed through Blade Mountain and Flame Sea and killed Blade Demon and Fire God. Boy, you’re quite something,” one of the Death Gods said.

The four Death Gods wore robes of different colors.

Black, white, blue, and yellow.

Each of them radiated the aura of an Infinite Dao cultivator.

Moreover, their positions were peculiar. Standing in the four cardinal directions, east, south, west, and north, they were faintly connected to one another.

“Transcendent Flow Domain,” the Broad-Eyed Death God said as a streak of light burst forth from that third eye.

Its speed was so fast that Xu Zimo had no time to evade.

When the beam struck, Xu Zimo was instantly bound by the power of space and time.

“Slash,” the Death God of Extinguishing Sound plucked his pipa.

With a thunderous boom, invisible sound waves transformed into a long blade that crashed heavily onto Xu Zimo.

Suddenly, the creature awakened. Within the pitch-black death soil, its eyes erupted with two beams of dark light.

“I can sense it. That fellow has come again,” the colossal being spoke.

Its voice was like rolling thunder.

As it spoke, the void trembled, and the river of death churned with surging waves.

“Rest assured. He is already dead. Dead men do not revive. I personally verified it back then,” a voice came from above.

Looking up, one would discover that someone was actually lying atop the colossal being.

This person was shrouded in darkness, impossible to see clearly.

Hearing this, the massive being grew doubtful.

“But my perception cannot be wrong. It really is him.”

“Even if a dead man revives, he is no longer the same person as before,” the voice replied.

“Are you not going to take a look?” the colossal being asked.

“I do want to see him, but surely you don’t expect me to go personally,” the voice answered.

“If he cannot even step through the gates of my Mirage Tides Heaven, then it simply means fate has not yet arrived.”

The brief exchange soon fell into silence.

At the entrance to the inner domain, Xu Zimo and the Four Ultimate Death Gods were now fully engaged in battle.

Boom, boom, boom.

Power surged like overturning rivers and seas.

Xu Zimo had already bloomed one flower. In a one-on-one fight, his strength was unquestionable.

At this moment, Shadow Tyrant swept through, directly shattering the sound-based attack of the Death God of Extinguishing Sound.

Then, with a single punch, he sent the Broad-Eyed Death God flying.

“Three Arrows of Darkness,” the Death God of Heavenly Arrows said as he drew his dark bow, loosing arrow after arrow.

It sought to bind him.
