I Really Am A Villain

Ch. 1759 - Eighteen Blade Purgatory Descends

This time, Xu Zimo showed no restraint at all. He slashed down with a single strike. Even though the man in green robes tried desperately to dodge, his robe was still torn apart, his long hair scattered, leaving him in a thoroughly wretched state.

“Damn it!” the man in green robes roared in fury.

Xu Zimo followed with a punch, smashing him straight to the ground.

Grabbing the man by the collar with one hand, Xu Zimo’s gaze was savage and bloodthirsty. “Speak! Where is the Middle Corpse?”

Boom.

The man in green robes’ head was crushed by a single punch.

At that moment, a series of claps suddenly rang out.

“Well done. Very well done indeed!”

A small child slowly walked out.

As the child emerged, the corpse mist around them surged even more violently, driving away all other forms of spirit energy.

Inside the grand hall, there was only corpse mist, as though any other power was a form of contamination.

The path the child walked on was paved entirely with divine crystals.

Divine crystals were extremely rare.

Only by killing a Saint Sovereign and refining all of their essence and blood could a single divine crystal be formed.

Yet beneath this child’s feet, every step was laid with such crystals. One could only imagine how many Saint Sovereigns he had killed.

Moreover, the child was spotless from head to toe, his body smeared with corpse ointment.

His clothing was even more shocking.

It was sewn from the skins of Infinite Dao cultivators.

From his robe to his trousers and boots, at least a dozen Infinite Dao cultivators’ skins had been used.

Around the child’s neck hung strings of Sun-Moon God Beads.

Only by absorbing more than ten million years of sun and moon essence could a single such bead be formed.

Yet the child wore an entire string of them.

On each of his five fingers was a finely crafted ring made from skulls.

The first impression the child gave was one of extreme wealth and extravagance.

As he walked, a lock of hair trailed behind his head, somewhat resembling the style of ancient people.

“Good kill. When the time comes, I’ll kill you the same way,” the child said with a smile.

“I’ve been feeling a bit uncomfortable lately. How about you let me use that skin of yours to make a few handkerchiefs?”

“The Middle Corpse,” Xu Zimo said calmly, narrowing his eyes.

He had already guessed it.

When the Dominator achieved enlightenment and split into the Three Selves, he later sealed them in the Three Corpse Cave to prevent them from bringing disaster to the world.

The Lower Corpse should have been the first to leave.

As for the Lower Corpse, Xu Zimo currently had no clues.

He did not know when it had left the Three Corpse Cave.

The Middle Corpse, however, had not truly left.

Because he had not found a suitable vessel, yet due to certain special circumstances, he could leave the Three Corpse Cave for short distances, though not wander far.

Thus, he established Three Corpse City, luring countless people here in search of a vessel.

As for the Upper Corpse, that one had been the last to act. He found Lin Ruhu and should have left as well.

Unfortunately, Xu Zimo destroyed him.

“Originally, we each walked our own narrow bridges and broad roads, with no conflict between us. So why block my path?” Xu Zimo said coldly.

“That Upper Corpse was useless anyway, to be killed by you. I had only planned to use you to obtain the corpse bones for me. Now that I think about it, I should thank you instead,” the child replied.

There were three of the Three Corpses.

The Upper Corpse of Gluttony lingered in the mortal world’s food, spending every day either eating or on the way to eat.

The Middle Corpse of Greed represented luxury. Everything he used had to be lavish to the extreme.

Infinite Dao cultivators as clothing. Saint Sovereigns paving his roads.

As for the Lower Corpse of Lust, it of course represented lust. Who knew how many women would suffer because of it.

Splitting into the Three Selves meant casting off one’s own flaws.

At least, that was how Xu Zimo understood it. He still planned to ask the True Martial Progenitor later.

After all, among those he knew, only the True Martial Progenitor had ever split into Three Selves.

“And the vessel?” the child asked, looking at Xu Zimo.

“I should thank you for helping me bring the corpse bones out. Otherwise, we Three Corpses cannot touch the corpse bones ourselves.”

“You want them? Then come closer. I’ll show you,” Xu Zimo beckoned.

“You think I’m that idiot Upper Corpse? You want to seal me?” the child snorted.

“Back then, Lust was the luckiest. He quickly found his vessel and left the Three Corpse Cave. Only the two of us remained. I also had some fortuitous encounters. While cultivating the techniques left behind by the Dominator, I gained some insights. I actually broke part of the seal, allowing me to leave the Three Corpse Cave for short distances.”

“I’m not interested in ancient stories,” Xu Zimo interrupted.

“Either you come over and let yourself be sealed, or I beat you up until you’re sealed.”

“Big words. You do have some strength,” the child chuckled.

“But have you not forgotten one thing?”

Seeing Xu Zimo’s puzzled expression, the child clapped his hands again.

“Everyone, I didn’t lie to you. He really did come to kill me. Today, all of you will slaughter him.”

As his words fell, vast Infinite Dao pressure descended from all directions. It vaguely linked together and pressed down on Xu Zimo.

Xu Zimo looked up and let out a cold snort.

Five Infinite Dao cultivators had arrived.

Their overwhelming might blanketed the entire Three Corpse City.

Seeing these Infinite Dao cultivators, some people recognized them immediately.

“It’s the Eighteen Blade Purgatory. Those are the Infinite Dao ancestors of the Eighteen Blade Purgatory.”

“I heard that Chen Cangtian of the Eighteen Blade Purgatory died in the Three Corpse Burial Ground. They must be here for revenge.”

The crowd buzzed with discussion.

Xu Zimo let out a cold laugh. The Eighteen Blade Purgatory. He had not expected them to arrive so quickly.

“Many thanks, Daoist, for drawing him out for us,” the Time-Space Dao Lord said coldly from the Eighteen Blade Purgatory’ side.

“Boy, today we will behead you.”

“So the small ones die and the old ones come out. Is that interesting?” Xu Zimo replied calmly.

“I’m more curious. They say the Eighteen Blade Purgatory are dogs of the Divine Court. If I kill all of you, will the Divine Court come forward?”

“Still talking big when death is at hand,” the Wind-Storm Dao Lord snorted.

“Everyone, no need to waste words. Let’s join forces and finish this quickly.”

Although these Infinite Dao cultivators were powerful, none of them underestimated Xu Zimo.

Earlier, another Infinite Dao cultivator from the Eighteen Blade Purgatory, Celestial Vine Dao Lord, had died at Xu Zimo’s hands. One on one, this man could kill Infinite Dao cultivators.

That alone was enough to show how strong he was.

So the moment they made a move, they intended to resolve it together.

Xu Zimo rolled his neck and smiled.

“Did any Three Blossoms cultivators from the Eighteen Blade Purgatory come? Not to belittle you, but a bunch of trash joining forces are still trash.”

“Heavenly Dragon Dao Lord is in seclusion. You’re not worthy of him taking action,” the Time-Space Dao Lord snorted.

Although the Eighteen Blade Purgatory had eighteen Infinite Dao cultivators, there was only one true Three Blossoms powerhouse.

That was Heavenly Dragon Dao Lord.

He was a disciple of the Blade Purgatory Progenitor.

The Blade Purgatory Progenitor was the creator of the Eighteen Blade Purgatory, but he had already died.

“In that case, I’ll kill all of you first, then go wipe out the Eighteen Blade Purgatory,” Xu Zimo said calmly.

Shadow Tyrant trembled in his hand.

That was not fear.

It was the thrill of preparing to slaughter Infinite Dao cultivators.
