I Really Am A Villain

Ch. 1751 - Two-Faced Monster

The moment they entered the Three Corpse Cave, it became clear just how vast it truly was.

It was like a labyrinth.

Millions of passages crisscrossed in all directions, making it impossible to tell which paths were viable and which led only to death.

Seeing this, Ye Qingcheng frowned slightly.

“Do you have a way?” she asked.

Xu Zimo thought for a moment, then took out the Traceless Compass.

This was something he specifically used to search for people.

However, there was a limitation. The Traceless Compass required an item belonging to the target as a guiding medium. It could not locate someone at random.

“Do you have something of Ruhu’s on you?” Xu Zimo asked.

Ye Qingcheng hesitated.

Finally, she said, “I have one piece of his clothing.”

“Then hand it over,” Xu Zimo said.

Ye Qingcheng hesitated again, her face reddening slightly, before taking out Lin Ruhu’s outer garment.

She had said earlier that she had no feelings for Lin Ruhu, that it was merely gratitude for saving her life.

Yet she had kept his clothes. That was practically a confession in itself.

Xu Zimo did not comment on it. He placed the garment on the Traceless Compass.

The compass immediately began to spin.

Its rotation grew faster and faster. Xu Zimo knew this was because Lin Ruhu was nearby.

With the target close, the compass required much less effort to locate him.

Sure enough, before long, the Traceless Compass stopped spinning, and a wisp of white aura appeared inside the Three Corpse Cave.

“Follow this aura, and we’ll find Ruhu,” Xu Zimo said.

He led the way, with Ye Qingcheng close behind.

After walking for a while, they encountered their first obstacle at a turning corner.

It was a creature with four legs and two faces, one at the front and one at the back.

Its entire body was covered in sticky, congealed blood.

Its appearance was grotesque.

The front face was smiling, while the face on the back was furious.

“What even is this thing?” Ye Qingcheng frowned.

She waved her hand, powerful energy surging outward.

Xu Zimo glanced at it. At the very least, it was at the Saint Sovereign realm.

He felt a bit puzzled. With such strength, why would she have needed Lin Ruhu’s help back then?

Perhaps Ruhu’s strength had not even matched this thing.

Noticing the doubt in Xu Zimo’s eyes, Ye Qingcheng explained, “The cultivation technique I practice is rather special. For a certain period of time, my cultivation disperses completely, and I become an ordinary person. It was during that time that I encountered people from the Thousand Sovereign Gate and was nearly violated. He appeared and saved me.”

Xu Zimo nodded. That explanation made sense.

The monster was disgusting, but Ye Qingcheng held an immortal sword.

Its sword light was terrifying. With a casual slash, a single sword beam split the monster in half.

However, the creature seemed impossible to kill.

Even when chopped into pieces, every fragment of flesh could still move and continue attacking.

After trying several times, Ye Qingcheng frowned.

“It can’t be killed?”

“These monsters are probably driven by corpse mist,” Xu Zimo explained.

“As long as the corpse mist remains, they’re practically immortal.”

He scanned their surroundings.

“The corpse mist here likely can’t be dispersed. We don’t need to deal with them. Just avoid them.”

Ye Qingcheng nodded.

At this point, there was no better option.

The two locked onto their direction and rushed straight past the monster toward the end of the passage.

Once inside the corridor, it became clear that countless monsters filled the interior.

Xu Zimo and Ye Qingcheng moved with exquisite footwork, weaving through the horde.

Only when they could no longer advance would Xu Zimo slash out, chopping all the monsters into minced flesh.

After sprinting for some distance,

“Watch out!” Ye Qingcheng shouted from the side.

Xu Zimo saw an enormous foot stomping down toward him.

“What is that?” he frowned.

He threw a punch straight at the foot.

Boom.

The massive foot was blasted away, and Xu Zimo was forced back several steps.

“This big guy is pretty strong,” Xu Zimo said.

He looked up.

A gigantic monster had appeared.

It was several thousand meters tall, so large that the cave itself seemed barely able to contain it.

“Lowly ants. Who allowed you to trespass into the cave and disturb my master’s rest?” the giant spoke, its voice cold.

A powerful aura surged around its body.

“And what are you supposed to be?” Ye Qingcheng asked calmly.

“Die,” the monster roared, slapping a massive hand toward Ye Qingcheng.

Boom.

Corpse mist surged violently within the palm.

“Heaven-Plucking Palm,” Ye Qingcheng shouted.

She struck back with a palm attack filled with overwhelming heavenly might.

The two palms collided. The resulting explosion twisted the void and nearly collapsed the cave.

“Kill, kill, kill,” the monster roared in fury.

Ye Qingcheng snorted coldly and took out a glove.

The glove was pure white, with immortal mist coiling around it.

“Heavenly Immortal Hand.”

That was the name of the glove.

It was said to have been crafted by an immortal.

Not an Immortal Monarch, but a former upper immortal of Jade Court.

After Ye Qingcheng put on the glove, immense immortal mist erupted around her.

“Beheading Technique,” Ye Qingcheng said coldly.

In an instant, her figure vanished into the corpse mist, using overwhelming force to disperse it.

The monster scanned its surroundings, trying to locate her.

In the next moment, Ye Qingcheng appeared behind it.

The glove was like a sharp blade as it slammed down on the monster’s neck.

Crack.

The monster’s head was severed.

But it did not die.

Its head and body separated and continued fighting independently, surrounding Ye Qingcheng.

Although Ye Qingcheng was a Saint Sovereign, being attacked simultaneously by both head and body forced her to retreat repeatedly.

“I’ll handle it,” Xu Zimo said.

He swung Shadow Tyrant.

A heaven-shaking blade light annihilated everything within its reach.

Boom.

Terrifying power surged forth, engulfing the monster completely.

“If it can’t be killed, then seal it,” Xu Zimo added.

The Edict of Death in his hand transformed into long strands like ropes, wrapping tightly around the monster.

He then bound it to the nearby wall.

No matter how violently the creature struggled, it was useless.

Its strength was far inferior to Xu Zimo’s.

“Let’s go.”

The two ignored the monster and walked straight to the end of the passage.

The path ahead seemed blocked.

A stone wall completely cut off the way forward.

However, the white line guiding Xu Zimo from the Traceless Compass passed straight through the stone wall.

“Break it,” Xu Zimo said.

He pointed forward, powerful force surging.

Boom, boom.

The Creation-Devouring God-Finger descended, its absolute power slamming into the stone wall.
