“A map?” Upon hearing this, King Sky-Sage’s expression darkened. “You were sent by my junior brother.”

“No, no. I fought him once. We’re mortal enemies,” Xu Zimo replied. “He just ran fast. Otherwise, I would have killed him.”

Xu Zimo knew that the junior brother King Sky-Sage referred to was Mortal Sovereign.

The real Mortal Sovereign had likely died long ago.

The current Mortal Sovereign was probably an impostor, a former disciple of the Human Sovereign.

“You’ve met my master?!” King Sky-Sage asked joyfully.

“If you want the demon stone, I have no objections,” King Sky-Sage replied. “But the Human Sovereign Palace is now on the brink of destruction. I also need your help.”

“You want me to take control of the Human Sovereign Palace?”

“Does it matter whether I have or not?” Xu Zimo chuckled. “Not like we got a choice.”

Hearing this, King Sky-Sage nodded and said no more.

He waved his hand.

The doors of the Discipline Hall opened, and a beam of light shot skyward.

It immediately drew the attention of all the demons.

The stone stele deep within the Discipline Hall was also dragged out by Xu Zimo and placed at the entrance.

Xu Zimo stood guard at the doorway, Shadow Tyrant in hand.

“We’ve found him,” a demon shouted not long after.
