Chapter 330: Ex Rank-Skill
Chapter 330: Ex Rank-Skill
Ding!
[Congratulations, Host. You have received a gift from Tongue (EX Rank Villain – The Overruler) via Stream Gift Function.]
(Super Chat: I want to beat this small shit Lucifer. Do you have any way to.. So i can?)
[Do you wish to open it?]
[Yes / No]
Razeal blinked.
His expression froze for a moment as his brain processed what he was seeing. A gift feom an EX Rank Villain? His eyes lingered on the rank longer than the message itself, a faint twitch appearing at the corner of his lips.
“Damn…” he muttered under his breath.
A gift from an EX-ranked villain must’be something dope. His mind immediately flashed back to the last time she had gifted him something like stars. Like actualy fucking stars. The kind of thing that shouldn’t even exist in an inventory, let alone be handed over casually.
This time shouldn’t be any less, he thought instinctively.
But he didn’t let the excitement rush him. He forced himself to stay calm, eyes lowering slowly to reread the message beneath the gift notification. His gaze narrowed slightly.
“A super chat…?” he murmured. “She wants to beat Lucifer?”
That was when it clicked.. something was clearly going on in the stream.
Without hesitation, Razeal opened the stream chat panel. Messages flooded his vision instantly, stacked one after another in rapid succession. His eyes moved quickly, scanning through the heated exchange between Tongue and Lucifer. Threats. Insults. Ego clashes. Lily stirring things up and all. The whole thing had turned into a full-blown verbal war.
As he read, understanding settled in.
At the same time, things he had noticed earlier finally connected.
The strange word’s from Knox..
Existential pressure or whatver..
And then The Vampire Progenitor’s messages..
Razeal’s eyes shifted briefly back toward the massive examiner standing nearby. Then back to the chat.
“So that’s why…” he put things together as coming to easy conclusion.
So this is because I’m a primordial vampire, he realized. A higher level existence than them… ’
“Hmm.”
So that’s why he thought I was a god huh..
It made sense now. The pressure wasn’t strength, aura, or killing intent. It was existence itself pressing down. Knox had simply misinterpreted it, using the only concept his mind could grasp.
Razeal shook his head lightly, pushing those thoughts aside. There were more immediate things to deal with for now..
Tongue wasn’t just gifting him for her kindness. She wanted something in return so.. More like a deal. She wanted to fight Lucifer. And this gift whatever it was.. was clearly meant to get his attention since he hadn’t been watching the chat.
But could he even do that?
He didn’t know himself..
Still, sitting and guessing wouldn’t help.. So he did only easiest thing he knows..
“System,” Razeal asked directly in his mind, not wasting time, “is there any way to do this?”
He didn’t overthink it. If it existed, the system would tell him. If it didn’t, then that was that.
The response came immediately.
[Yeah, there is.]
Razeal’s eyes sharpened. “Ohh?”
[Such a function exists, Host. Though it was meant to be discovered naturally by you, it is still a valid discovery.. Since still you being asking yourself.]
Another notification followed…
[Congratulations to Host for discovering a system-side minor function.]
Text expanded in front of him.
[Function Name: Villain Clash Authorization]
[Description: Through this function, the Host may designate selected villains and transfer them into a shared isolated space or choose one of their respective spaces. Within that space, the chosen entities are authorized to engage in direct combat for the purpose of strength assessment, hierarchical evaluation, or any other reason.]
[Rules: No restrictions apply.]
[Outcome Notice: Upon death or formal admission of defeat, the involved villain(s) will be automatically restored and returned to their original respective spaces. If neither party is terminated, both entities will be forcibly extracted and returned upon duel conclusion.]
Razeal’s eyes moved rapidly across the floating notification, reading every single line without missing even a word. The glow from the system interface reflected faintly in his pupils as his mind processed the implications almost instantly. Unlike before, there was no confusion this time only clarity.
A slow smile crept onto his face.
“Ahh…” he exhaled quietly. “This is simple now.”
Then without wasting even a second, he opened the live stream interface and sent a message directly into the chat..
Alright, thanks for your gift, Tongue.
As for your request it’s acceptable…Enjoy Also, if anyone else has this kind of request, you’re always welcome. Just remember to send an appropriate gift too. I’ll accept anything. Alright… give me a few seconds. I’ll put you both into one space for combat.
The message landed like a stone dropped into still water.
For a brief moment, the chat froze.
Then
Lily: Wait?… Seriously? There’s actually something like that?
Tongue: Hahsha good. Very good. Now I’ll teach this little shit what kind of “lying lady” I really am.
Lucifer: ….
Razeal didn’t react to any of it.
He had already moved on.
It didn’t take him long to figure out the interface. The system menus responded smoothly, as if they had always been waiting for this exact input. His fingers moved with purpose, selecting names without hesitation.
Tongue.
Lucifer.
Duel authorization.
Then came the choice of space.
Razeal didn’t overthink that either. Random space. It didn’t matter whether Tongue entered Lucifer’s domain or Lucifer was dragged into hers.. Yeah he didn’t wasted time in creating some contimized space for them. Either way, they would get exactly what they wanted…
And as for the result?
He honestly didn’t care.
No one was dying permanently.. So no losses for him.
And more importantly
He already knew who would win.
With a final confirmation, the system executed the command.
Almost immediately, a new window appeared inside the stream chat.. smaller than the main feed, edged with a sharp, distinct border. Text glowed at the top.
[Ongoing Villain Duel Stream]
It had already started.
Lily: Ohhh what is this?
Ancestor Xue: Let me watch. Must be both of their fights.
Degenerated Bastard: I’m curious who’ll win too.
Messages poured in as villain’s clicked the link, curiosity pulling them in like gravity.
Razeal glanced at the side stream for only a fraction of a second.
Then ignored it completely.
His interest lay elsewhere.
He turned his attention back inward, focusing on the unopened gift that still hovered patiently in front of him.
“System,” he said calmly, the earlier tension completely gone from his voice, “open the gift.”
The response was instant.
[Congratulations, Host. You have received an EX-ranked skill.]
The next line appeared.
[Critical Lucky Punch (EX-)]
Razeal froze.
For a split second, his brain simply… stopped.
An EX-ranked skill.
His mouth slowly fell open before he even realized it.
“What the” he breathed.
Shock hit him hard.. not the loud, explosive kind, but the quiet, disbelieving kind that made your thoughts lag behind reality. He had expected something valuable. Of course he had. It was an EX-ranked villain’s gift.
But this?
This went far beyond his expectations.
An actual EX-ranked skill?… just handed to him?
If someone told him this a few minutes ago, he would’ve laughed in their face.
And yet, there it was.
Floating…
Real.
Undeniable.
Calling his reaction excitement wouldn’t even come close. It was more like being thrown onto a roller coaster without warning disbelief, thrill, and disbelief again all tangled together.
[Congratulations, Host, for gaining your first EX-ranked skill.]
Villey’s voice rang out, carrying a tone that almost sounded… proud.
For once, Razeal didn’t snap back.
“…Yeah,” he muttered, still staring at the notification. “Thanks.. Thanks.”
He didn’t even realize he had thanked Villey until the words were already out.
Whatever beeef he had toward Villey earlier was almost forgotten for some seconds. His attention was fully consumed on this.. Glowing EX ranked skill.
“Alright,” he said, finally finding his voice again. “Open it. Let me see.”
He leaned forward slightly, eyes sharp with anticipation.
[Yes, Host.]
Critical Luck Punch
Rank: EX-
Type: Passive–Active (Hybrid)
Category: Probability / Luck / Physical
Requirement: Exceptionally High Luck
Skill discription: Critical Luck Punch is an EX-rank probability-based combat skill that converts distorted probability and extreme luck into overwhelming physical force, completely bypassing conventional physical laws. Rather than relying on raw strength, each punch subtly manipulates reality’s statistical framework.
Every strike carries a chance to trigger a Critical Luck Event a phenomenon in which damage calculations are no longer bound by the user’s physical parameters, instead erupting into force far beyond the user’s natural limits.
Core Mechanic: Probability Anomalies
The skill operates by accumulating probability anomalies rare statistical deviations generated through continuous combat. As punches are thrown without interruption, these anomalies stack, pushing reality closer to a breaking point.
With enough accumulation, probability collapses into a single decisive outcome: one punch that defies all logic and expectation.
Reset Condition: If the user ceases attacking for 20 seconds or more, all accumulated probability anomalies dissipate, resetting the skill’s progression back to zero.
Probability Scaling (Not Guaranteed): As the number of uninterrupted punches increases, the likelihood and severity of a Critical Luck Event escalates:
10 punches: Very High chance to deal ×2 damage
100 punches: Moderate chance to deal ×10 damage
1,000 punches: Extremely rare chance to deal ×100 damage
[Beyond measurable limits: A True Anomaly may occur an event classified as a statistical impossibility, producing results that cannot be quantified by standard multipliers.]
[Luck Dependency: This skill is entirely dependent on the host’s innate luck.]
[A highly fortunate user may trigger absurd outcomes such as ×10,000 damage even with relatively low punch counts.]
[Conversely, an unlucky host may fail to achieve even a ×2 damage amplification after millions of strikes.]
Razeal hurriedly began reading the description and information of the EX-ranked skill. At first, excitement surged through him, his heart pounding with anticipation. But as he reached the very last line, his expression completely collapsed like someone who had just eaten filth.
“What the fuck is this shit…?”
Yeah, sure, it was an overpowered skill. No doubt about that. But he was probably the unluckiest person in the entire world. He had no relationship.. no connection at all with luck. Not even from some faraway path.
What did that mean?
It meant this skill was completely useless to him.
Razeal genuinely wanted to complain to Tongue. Why did this skill feel like something she created purely for amusement? It was ao crude…
Still, he couldn’t do anything right now. All the villains were busy watching the duel between Lucifer and the Tongues.
And yet… no matter how much he disliked it, this was a life-changing skill.
Honestly if villain’s discovered what he had obtained forget shock.. They would cry tears of sadness too.. Since its not them who got this.
If nothing else, it could double a person’s strength. Not just once but potentially thousands of times. Yes, the probability was abysmal, and the effect lasted only a fraction of a second. But even so, powerhouses at their level would spill rivers of blood to obtain this skill. Some would even sacrifice their own family members to whatever supreme entity they believed in just to get their hands on it.
But Razeal wasn’t happy.
He didn’t believe he would ever be able to draw out even a single favorable probability from it. Not even once.
He genuinely wanted to smash something.
This was like placing the most beautiful dish in the world right in front of him while ensuring he could never take a single bite.
It was just… sad.
Lost in deep sorrow and spiraling thoughts, Razeal remained frozen until Knox’s voice finally snapped him out of his trance.
“What are you doing? I asked you a question.”
The massive figure frowned slightly, his brows drawing together as his gaze locked onto the much smaller figure standing before him.
“What god are you?” Knox asked again, more slowly this time. “And what are you doing here?”
There was no mockery in his tone. No arrogance. Only confusion and something closer to unease.
From Knox’s perspective, the scene was deeply unsettling. The boy before him had been standing there, silent, completely ignoring his presence. His expression had shifted repeatedly shock, Happyness, irritation, bitterness, contemplation like someone lost in a storm of thoughts far removed from the battlefield. And yet Knox had not interrupted him. He had assumed the boy was grappling with the weight of his words, perhaps even the realization of what stood before him.
But now, as seconds passed, that assumption felt… wrong.. Boy was just wasting his time it seems.
Razeal finally snapped back to reality at the sound of Knox’s voice.
He blinked.
Only then did he truly remember where he was.
“…Ah,” Razeal muttered quietly, lifting a hand to his face. He dragged his fingers down slowly, letting out a long, exhausted sigh. The disappointment still lingered heavily in his chest, clinging to him like a damp weight that refused to fade.
For a brief moment, he simply stood there, eyes half-lidded, as if gathering himself.
Then he shook his head.
“Nah,” he said, lowering his hand and exhaling again. “I’m not some god. You misunderstood.”
The words were plain. Almost careless.
Knox stiffened.
“…You’re not?” he repeated, frowning more deeply now.
He chose to believe the denial. After all, a god would never deny their nature so casually. Pride alone would not allow it. But then again if not a god, then what?
Knox crossed his arms, thick forearms folding over one another as he tilted his head slightly, studying Razeal with a predator’s focus. His massive frame loomed, casting a shadow that swallowed the space between them.
“Then what are you?” he asked.
Razeal didn’t answer him.
“Alright,” Razeal said, his tone flattening. “Whatever i am shouldn’t concern you, we’re here for combat. Not talking.”
His fingers tightened around the hilt of his sword. The grip was firm.. white-knuckled. There was tension there now, raw and unresolved, fed by frustration that had nowhere else to go.
“And I’m in a pretty bad mood right now.”
The air shifted.
Before Knox could respond, Razeal vanished.
There was no warning. No buildup.
One instant he stood on the arena floor
The next, he was gone.
Knox’s eyes flicked upward.
Razeal had already appeared high above him, suspended in midair. Water churned violently around his sudden displacement, ripples spiraling outward as his black blade gleamed overhead.
His sword was raised high, both hands gripping the hilt.
And he did not hold back.
Razeal brought the blade down with everything he had.
Every ounce of physical strength surged into the strike no restraint, no hesitation. The full might of a Saint King poured into the downward arc, his body twisting to add momentum, his muscles screaming as he committed completely to the blow.
Though he did not aim for Knox’s head.
Instead, his strike descended toward Knox’s shoulder.. the massive, armored bulk of it aiming to test, to break, to force a reaction.
Knox didn’t move.
Not a step or shift.. or even a flinch.
For a split second, Razeal’s lips curved into a sharp smirk.
“So confident in your body?” Razeal thought as the blade came down. “Let’s see how long that lasts.”
The sword connected.
BOOOOOOOOOM.
A violent explosion detonated at the point of impact.
The water inside the arena erupted outward in a massive shockwave, rippling violently from the center as if struck by a meteor. Pressure slammed into the invisible water barrier surrounding the arena, sending chaotic currents spiraling back inward instead of dispersing.
The enclosed space magnified everything.
Water twisted. Cracks spread across the arena floor. Debris and sediment blasted upward in a violent surge, the entire battlefield shaking under the force of the collision.
But inside the chaos
Nothing happened.
Razeal’s eyes widened.
A bead of sweat slid down his temple.
Still suspended in midair, he stared in disbelief at the sight in front of him.
His sword.
It hadn’t gone in.
Not even a fraction.
The black blade was pressed flat against Knox’s shoulder, completely stopped as if it had struck an immovable wall. No blood. No dent. Not even a scratch.
Knox’s body hadn’t even moved.
Not even an inch.
He still stood there, arms crossed, head slightly tilted, eyes distant as though he were still lost in thought, as though Razeal didn’t even exist.
As though that strike had been nothing more than a light tap.
Razeal’s heart dropped.
“…Impossible.”
The word escaped him in a whisper.
His grip tightened instinctively, knuckles aching as his body tried to comprehend what his eyes were telling him. The force behind that strike should have shattered mountains. It should’ve easily torn flesh, cracked bone.. Even if that person have Emperor rank resistance.. Like he beleive it so
And yet
Nothing.
Knox hadn’t even registered the attack.
