Seto Kaiba added:
"Even if they did, they couldn't use it. Metaltron XII, the True Dracombatant, which was Tribute Summoned using a Continuous Spell, is unaffected by Spell effects."

As though responding to his battle cry, Blue-Eyes Chaos MAX Dragon exploded with crackling lightning from its wings, further amplifying the power of Chaos MAX Burst. The overwhelming blast instantly overpowered Metaltron XII, the True Dracombatant.
The dragon girl immediately activated King's Proof.
"According to the effect of King's Proof, any battle damage inflicted by Wyrm monsters is dealt to the opponent instead! Since Blue-Eyes Chaos MAX Dragon has 4000 ATK, it inflicts 1000 battle damage to Metaltron XII, the True Dracombatant!"

The massive machine came to a stop, dropping to one knee.
Its mechanical body gradually lost its glow, as though the entire construct had completely shut down.
"Since Metaltron XII, the True Dracombatant is unaffected by Spell effects, it also doesn't gain the once-per-turn protection from destruction by battle provided by the Field Spell Dragonic Diagram."
The dragon girl calmly announced the result of the clash.
"There is no doubt about it. This exchange belongs to Blue-Eyes Chaos MAX Dragon."

"It couldn't," Hoshino explained.

Since monster effects couldn't be activated during the Battle Phase, Metaltron, which had been destroyed by Achilles in battle, had no choice but to remain silent.
