Yu Dong was surprised. She hadn’t expected her children to surpass her like this.

She looked at the cape berries and fell into a deep abyss of pondering. Should she be happy that her children were this strong or should she be worried about these three?

Yu Dong snapped out of her thoughts and turned to look at her husbands who were waiting for her reply.

She was going to use it as fertilizer for the vegetable growing in the backyard.

“Send it to the mall,” said Ye Liu as he brought the baskets of cape berries out of the room. Even if they ate these berries for days, the stock would not finish and they would get bored of it.

It was better to keep a catty or two to change the taste and sell the rest.

Shen Li agreed with him. He turned to look at Fang Chi and said to him, “Go and call the mammies, have them come and take them to the mall. Just sell them as they seem fit.”

Cape berries were not rare fruits and even though the ones that his sons grew were indeed delicious, Shen Li knew that the people would not pay a high price for a fruit that was not rare.

Fang Chi nodded and he went out of the house to bring the mammies inside.

Chen Mi on the other hand looked at the chicken that was handed to him by Fang Chi. His eyes brightened and he said to Shen Li and Ye Liu, “If the cape berries taste so good then, doesn’t that mean that this chicken will also taste amazing.”

Shen Li and Ye Liu: “…” This mer is really good. His focus is always on food.

Soon another section was opened in the mall at the fruit section causing many mers to walk over and look at the yellow fruits that were placed inside the baskets neatly.

“What are these?” One of the official’s husbands questioned as he looked at the yellow fruit.

“Aren’t these cape berries?” A commoner mer answered while looking at the yellow fruits. He reached out and picked up the cape berry that was sitting in the sample section and brought it to his mouth.

He chewed the juicy flesh of the berry and nodded, “It’s indeed cape berries but I have never eaten a cape berry as good as this one.”

Cape berries were local fruits and could be found everywhere in the countryside but the berries sold by Yu Dong were completely different.

“Of course, everything that comes to the mall is fresh and unique. You will not find cape berries as sweet as these not to mention, they are big and ripe.”

The head of the fruit section spoke with a smile on his face. He praised the cape berries to the point that many people couldn’t help but get hooked.

The mer who came from the family of the commoners thought about the price of the fruits in the mall and gritted his teeth before asking,

“How much are these cape berries?” Even if he couldn’t buy the strawberries for his children, he could at least buy this sweet cape berry!

“It is not expensive just forty cents a catty,” answered the seller with a professional smile on his face.

“Ah?” When the mer heard that it was only forty cents he was stunned. He looked at the worker who continued to smile and said, “Cape berries are nothing rare, and we are not unscrupulous sellers. We will not sell something at a sky-high price just because it’s better than the rest.”

Cape berries can be found in the forest easily, even now they are growing in some places.
