“I went to the village earlier this morning with my husband, even though I told him that there was no point in going, he insisted and do you know what I saw?” One woman who was smoking a pipe said to the rest of the women who sat next to her.

“What did you see?” A woman who did not have any relatives in the Black Pot Village questioned curiously.

“Corpses. The village is now like a sea of corpses, black and charred corpses are scattered all over the place and the entire village looks like it’s haunted,” said the woman with a click of her tongue. She was acting brave but when she saw the condition of the Black Pot Village, she really wanted to turn around and escape.

If not for her husband who insisted on looking for his parents, she wouldn’t have bothered to stay in the village at all. It was simply too scary!

“I went there too,” a woman spoke sullenly. She really wanted to divorce her husband when she thought about how that mer dragged her to the Black Pot Village that morning.

Little Hu nodded and agreed. “Just get up early in the morning, I will take you with me.”
