Guo Chengcai wanted Yu Mai to blame Ye Liu. That mer was not only a bad husband but he was also a liar. How could he lie to a child and tell him that putting the basin in the water could get fish? If it was that easy then they all would be sitting down with a basket submerged instead of worrying about anything.

When Yu Dong heard the words of Guo Chengcai she wanted to say something but was pulled back by Shen Li. He said to her, “Leave this matter to Liu. He is not that easy to bully, if he was that easy to bully wouldn’t he be suppressed to the ground by now?” Ye Liu was the most difficult for the four mers at the Yu house.

He did not show his displeasure on his face so easily but when he was angered he did not let that person off either.

Sure enough.

Ye Liu who originally did not want to entangle with Guo Chengcai felt his patience run out. He turned to look at the mer and sneered, “What if Mai can catch fish with his basket? Will you kowtow and call me your ancestor? I will leave you alone if you call me daddy.”

His voice was neither low nor high, however, everyone still heard what he said. Guo Chengcai’s wife wanted to stop him. She knew that her husband had feelings for Yu Dong and that was why he was acting like this, in fact, Madam Yan knew that she had wronged Guo Chengcai by marrying him as he was much more beautiful than her.

Not to mention Madam Yan was older than Guo Chengcai, in fact, she was one of the oldest bachelors in the village.

If not for the fact that Guo Chengcai’s reputation was harmed after following Yu Dong all the time, she would have never been able to marry Guo Chengcai.

Their match was like to an old cow eating green grass.

However, at the same time, she was upset. Even if Guo Chengcai married down, she had never wronged him. What he was doing was nothing less than a slap on her face!

“What are you doing? Why are you making trouble for no reason?” Madam Yan questioned as she pulled her husband back but Guo Chengcai did not take his wife seriously. She was just an old woman who was fortunate enough to marry him. How dare she act up in front of him?

He flung her arm and then turned to look at Ye Liu with a proud expression. “Fine, I will agree! But if he fails to get any fish then you will shout out that you are a lucky idiot three times in the village while kowtowing to me and calling me a wise ancestor!”

Guo Chengcai curled his lips and stated, “I am a kind mer, so I will not make you run around the village. Here will do!”

“He is going too far,” Yu Dong was upset when she heard Guo Chengcai say that he wanted Ye Liu to kneel. She did not make her husbands kneel except in bed, how dare this mer ask Ye Liu to kneel to him?

Shen Li chuckled. He continued holding Yu Dong and stated, “Why are you getting excited? With our family luck, do you still need to worry about not winning?”

The entire Yu family had eaten and drunk spiritual water. They were not as strong as Yu Dong whose body held the true essence but their bodies’ constitutions were now different from the rest of the villagers. The scent of their bodies now attracted animals, if not how Yu Mai be the leader of the livestock at home?

Where ever he went the livestock followed him. It was as if he was their parent and they were his children.

Yu Dong also remembered the sight of the small cattle farm and her lips curled up in a sly smile. She kissed Shen Li on the cheek and stared at Ye Liu with a doting look in her eyes.

“You two.. are so naughty,” Yu Dong now understood why Ye Liu made such a bet, he knew that he would win which was why he placed forward such a bet. Now Yu Dong was quite eager to see Guo Chengcai kneel in front of Ye Liu and call him Daddy.

So what if Ye Liu did not have a child? He could become the daddy of anyone he wanted.

Shen Li blushed and pinched her on the waist. “Don’t you like us being naughty?”

“I do… I do like it even more so when you are naked,” Yu Dong whispered as she bit Shen Li’s ear lobe only to get smacked on the arm as Shen Li looked around. “What are you doing? Someone will see us and our sons are also here.”

“Then I will do it when there is no one else with us,” Yu Dong winked at Shen Li whose face was as red as a cooked lobster however he did not refuse either. He had been staying clear of Yu Dong’s room ever since he was six months pregnant. Even though Yu Dong had pleased him with her hands and mouth, it was not enough.

Now he was eager for the night to fall.

He would leave the children with Fang Chi and go to Yu Dong’s room. Three months of separation! He was eager to end this suffering as well.

On the other hand, Ye Liu did not know that he was once again going to be dragged along with Shen Li. He raised his chin and sneered. Did this mer even know whom he was challenging? How dare he target his wife and even blame him?

So what he was barren! His wife liked him enough! As he thought he turned to look at Yu Dong who blew a kiss at him causing his face to turn red.

He looked away and snorted, “Fine! Don’t come crying once you lose to me then! I am not as forgiving as others!”
