“You brats what are you doing?” Yu Sa screamed at the two mers who had splashed water on her along with the girl. What was going on, why did they suddenly splash water on them?

“It’s time to get to work,” Yu Mai said with an eye roll. He was now nine years old and he knew that these people were bad, and wanted to slack off. He said, “We called for you to wake up but you did not, we could only wake you up like this.”

Work? What work?

Yu Sa felt that she could no longer understand what these kids were talking about. She furrowed her brows and said, “What work? We are guests, why should we work?”

“Hehe, we all already know that you are here to stay forever,” Sun Jie harrumphed coldly. “Sister Dong Dong said that since that is the case then you need to work hard and earn money if you want to stay, if not then you will not get any food.”

His words were like a bolt out of the blue, everyone in Yu Sa’s family turned pale. They were yet to make a move but Yu Dong already knew that they were here to stay. How? Did she send someone to their village but that would have taken at least fifteen days, how could she get this news so soon?

What they did not think about was that Yu Dong had carriages and horses, unlike those who had to rest and walk, the journey that needed fifteen days was finished in three with the carriage. Lang went to Yu Sa’s village and investigated the situation before bringing the news back to Yu Dong.

Yu Sa felt a sense of foreboding. She immediately got up and changed her clothes before rushing out of the guest courtyard. Even though she was old, Yu Sa ran like she was trying to get the first spot in the line of reincarnation.

“Yu Dong! What is the meaning of this? What did those brats—— I mean the children mean by work?” Yu Sa found Yu Dong standing outside her house, she was talking to someone and seemed quite engrossed.

However when she heard her scream Yu Dong turned to look at Yu Sa and said calmly, “It’s what you heard. You and your family have been staying in our house for a long time, I thought something was wrong with your family in the village where you live.”

“Though we don’t have a good relationship, I couldn’t leave your family alone First grandma. So I sent someone to deal with the trouble you were facing,” as Yu Dong spoke she mockingly smiled at Yu Sa. “Who would have thought that as soon as my worker went to your village, she found out that you actually sold your house and lands? You have nowhere to go and came here to stay.”

Her Second grandma was also kicked out by Yu Sa when she was very young, however, she wasn’t as resourceful and did not make a lot of money. In fact, it would be better to say that Second Grandma had a hard time compared to Grandma Yu.

She only had a small house and her family was just as big as Yu Sa, how could she give her any place in her house? So Yu Sa came looking for Old Madam Yu.

Yu Sa had a perfect plan but how could Yu Dong be willing to let her have it easy? She was not going to let this woman think that they were easy to bully.

Once Yu Sa and her family got used to the comfort, they would think of schemes and eventually, they would try to take what they didn’t deserve if that was the case then it was better to nip their thoughts in the bud before they bloomed!

She would let these people know that there was no way they could take advantage of her. And if they wanted to take advantage of her, then they needed to see if they were capable enough!

Yu Sa was speechless when she heard Yu Dong’s words. She knew that Yu Dong would find out the truth sooner or later but she did not think she would be this quick. It was as if Yu Dong was on guard from the second she saw them!

She calmed down before saying, “I was actually going to talk about this to you, Dong Dong. Your cousins and aunts feel sorry as well, this was why I was thinking about letting them work as a manager——”

“There is no back door for anyone in this house,” Yu Dong said calmly as she pressed her thumb and signed the documents that Gu Ke Jin was holding in her hands. “Those who want to climb to the position of the manager need to work hard, did you not ask Grandma Yu? She also works as a small worker and the manager of the greenhouse is someone else.”

When Yu Sa heard that even Yu Hongmei worked as a worker for Yu Dong, her expression changed and her heart turned heavy. She thought that she would have Yu Dong in her grasp but…

Yu Dong knew what she was thinking about, she gave Yu Sa a scornful laugh and said, “This is not up to you anymore, First Grandma. This is my house, which means that my rules need to be followed no matter what. I have already decided on your jobs, you will be coming with me. Now.”

“I will give you ten minutes to get ready if you don’t come out in ten minutes. Don’t blame me for being rude.”
