Chapter 1563: Part 2: Plight of the Merchant Association

Time passed,

In the middle of the night, I came outside to breathe fresh mountain air and appreciate the starry views in the sky.

I quickly moved to the top of the big rock and laid down on it. Then I started to appreciate the starry night view in the skies.

I noticed that mana in the mountains were slightly denser. It’s also a good place for me to meditate. The gravity rule power is hard to comprehend.

It’s also making me realise that my current aptitude was not enough. Celeste must have broken through before me. But the news was kept secret.

If not for the system help, I would have been blind. Other Wizard Seeds are looking for the breakthrough opportunity as well.

I think one of the reasons Lord Charlotte allowed them for the Volcanic Land mission was related to me.

I have joined recently. But I became an official member before them. If they learn it will hit them hard. That’s why she wanted them to go outside to find breakthrough opportunities.

Whereas Celeste. I guess there are only a few with her aptitude. Unless, I get another super relic to upgrade my aptitude. I won’t match her speed.

Maybe I should try my luck here at this Merchant Association. They handle all the important goods. Including the magic treasures.

I heard these voices on top of the mountain. I heard the content as well. My eyes flashed with a glint.

Then I slowly raised my head and tried to find the source. Then I spotted a group of three people coming towards me.

Once they cross the mountain. They will reach the path to the city. But the path was not an official path. It was a secret road known to the locals.

But these outsiders were able to find this path. I immediately used the probe function on them.

The next second, the results appeared on the screen. It was shocking. The two of them have dark magic. One has awakened unique magic related to formations. He is a level-8 Wizard.

The other two are dark wizards who awakened the magic to manipulate dark mana. But they are level-9 Wizards.

A hint of excitement flashes in my eyes. I was wondering what to do. But I didn’t expect the dark faction to send their gift here.

Before they could escape because of any weird magic spell. I decided to injure them first. Next, I jumped from the top and landed on the ground.

They were a few metres away from me. They didn’t raise their heads to check the surroundings. Otherwise, they would have spotted me earlier.

“Gravity Field.”

I cast the 1st stage of the magic spell. A powerful magic pressure descended on them out of nowhere. The Gravitational force instantly made them lie flat on the ground.

“What’s going..”

They were unable to complete their sentences. Their bodies were completely pressed to the ground by unknown pressure.

The magic formation wizard was the first one to cough up blood. He was just a level-8 Wizard. The pressure broke his body defense and started hurting his organs.

The other 2 level-9 Wizards weren’t good. But they were unable to cast their magic spell. So they started shouting.

“Who are you?”

“What do you want?”

“Show your face!”

The 2 level-9 Wizards understood that it was not the Supreme magic spell. If it was a magic spell cast by the Supreme Wizard.

They would have died right now. Instead they were caught in the unknown magic. The enemy must be a level-9 Wizard as well.

On the other hand, I was surprised. The dark wizards were able to speak clearly under the pressure.

“What are you guys doing here?”

“Which faction sent you here?”

I asked them straight questions. The three wizards were stunned. They thought they were caught by an official or local Wizard here.

But from the questions, they understood that person was expecting someone from the faction to enter.

Both the level-9 Wizards exchanged looks. They are from the Dark Faction. The opponent’s magic was not dark magic.

So they thought he was from the white faction.

“You White faction dogs are here before us. Do you think the Merchant Association will support the white faction?” The level-9 Wizard said with a sneer.

He was struggling under the pressure a moment ago. Now he forgot about the pain. They are looking at the white faction guy in front of them.

The Level-8 Magic Formation Wizard was getting miserable. His bones are cracking under pressure. From the conversation, he understood that it’s difficult for him to leave.

He was already injured. If both factions start fighting here, he will become a scapegoat. He regrets coming here without much preparation.

“Looks like you guys won’t understand. I’ll ask again a few minutes later,” I replied.

I started waiting for the time to pass by. They will know the power of the gravity magic as time flies.

As time flies, the power of the gravitational force increases. The pressure on them increased.

The Magic Formation Wizard was the first one to scream. He was miserable. His clothes are torn apart. His body looked bloodied.

His bones were cracked under pressure. If this goes on, his mana core will be damaged. He will become crippled.

The faces of the level-9 Wizards changed drastically. They could tell that the magic formation wizard is going to die.

They themselves are under terrific pressure. The unknown magic is breaking their body. They weren’t able to lift their fingers.

They both realised that their fate was sealed. Instead of begging they started laughing.

“Ha…Ha…Ha…”

“After our death, the dark faction will find out the truth. Not only your white faction. Even the Merchant Association will be dragged into the chaos,” One of them said before spatting blood.

“You won’t escape death either,” the second one said.

On the other hand, I raised my eyebrows in surprise. I thought they would ask for forgiveness. Instead they are threatening me.

My eyes turned cold. I continued to pour mana into the Gravity Field.
