Chapter 677 - 334 Resistance of the Solar System! (Two in One)_1

Chapter 677: Chapter 334 Resistance of the Solar System! (Two in One)_1

At that time, the two Divine Domains were filled with people.

On the Solar System’s side, there were over a thousand fifth-transition strong ones.

On the Yongming Star System’s side, with top-notch strong ones teaming up with other strong ones, their numbers also reached over a thousand.

And it was not just this Divine Domain; the situation was similar in several other Divine Domains.

The Yongming Star System had adopted a strategy of dispersed encirclement.

If they were to launch a strong attack on a single point, even with the assistance of top-notch strong ones, it would still be difficult to succeed.

But if they spread out to strike now, the Solar System’s side would be spread too thin.

Although an undefended Divine Domain wasn’t easily breached, the possibility of it being quickly compromised significantly increased without any defenses.

Moreover, the opposition had come prepared.

Faced with a group of Alien Professionals from other regions joining them, the Solar System naturally attempted to persuade them to defect.

After all, standing with the Yongming Star System, it was actually very hard for them to ensure their own survival. Their only desperate hope was to defeat the Solar System and prevent their own star systems from being vanquished.

But this was only a temporary reprieve from defeat.

The emergence of a heaven-defying prodigy in the Solar System indeed proved its capability to dominate the Tower of Eternity battle zone. However, even if this threat were eradicated, there was no guarantee that these other star systems would be the sole victors in the future.

In the future, they would all be competitors amongst themselves!

No one could guarantee who would become the final victor.

However, this time, each of their star systems had sacrificed a top-notch strong one, equivalent to losing a considerable amount of combat power.

It could be seen as a sort of balance, with only the Yongming Star System benefiting quite a bit more.

However, the Yongming Star System, in order to entice them to join and to activate the Demonization Formation for the Demonization of all five-star professionals, had also paid a significant price, which could be considered a leveling of the score in some sense.

At this point, they were all united by a common enemy.

Despite the Solar System’s many silver-tongued attempts at persuasion, they hadn’t been significantly swayed.

As of then, the Solar System hadn’t received a single request for citizenship via a Stars Citizenship Conversion Card.

It was clear that although these individuals had accepted the Stars Citizenship Conversion Cards, they had no real intention of converting.

Faced with the current situation, the Solar System’s higher-ups, apart from continuing to dispatch people to sow discord and organize defenses, were not without their own countermeasures.

Since the enemy was focusing its energy on launching strong attacks against the Divine Domains on their side, the Solar System had also quietly dispatched some personnel to attack the Divine Domains the Yongming Star System had left poorly defended, forcing them to divert manpower back.

Like guerrilla warfare, the Solar System sent out a small team, alternating attacks within the various Divine Domains of the Yongming Star System.

As long as they found a suitable Divine Domain to launch a strong attack on, they would immediately make their move.

This kind of behavior was quite vexing for the Yongming Star System.

In normal times, they would only need to evenly distribute their manpower for defense, and the Solar System’s strategy wouldn’t be effective.

But it was different now. They needed to launch strong attacks to seize the Divine Domains owned by the Solar System, which meant they required a considerable number of people for these assaults.

After all, even low Divine Power fifth-transition professionals were not useless; they could form a god-grade army array, integrating their Divine Power for use.

Of course, the total Divine Power wasn’t simply the sum contributed by each individual within the army array.

God-grade army arrays were generally categorized as XX Divine Power Armies.

For example, a Thousand Divine Power Army could integrate up to one thousand Divine Power.

Only one hundred fifth-transition professionals, each with ten Divine Power, were needed in a team to meet this condition.

This was enough to enable one hundred ordinary individuals, who originally possessed only 10 Divine Power each, to suddenly wield power comparable to that of an expert with 1,000 Divine Power.

Therefore, in the Tower of Eternity, even the weak could become crucial components of the fighting force.

For the Yongming Star System to exert enough pressure to successfully assault and capture the Solar System’s Divine Domains, they naturally needed a considerable number of combined forces.

This led them to consolidate much of their manpower for the offensive, but since they occupied too many Divine Domains, they couldn’t manage them all at once.

The Solar System’s strategy was now very simple: if Yongming amassed forces to attack one of their territories, they would, in turn, raid one of Yongming’s.

Of course, although this plan was sound, it wasn’t easy to implement.

After all, claiming even an unowned Divine Domain wasn’t something that could be accomplished quickly.

After entering a Divine Domain, one first needed to complete the challenges set by the previous Master of the Divine Domain.

Once a Divine Domain was occupied, its new Master could set challenges for that Divine Domain at will.

In the future, if others wanted to occupy this Divine Domain, they would need to overcome the challenges the Master had set.

Although they were called challenges, because the characteristics of an occupied Divine Domain and an unowned Divine Domain were different, these challenges were actually quite easy to crack.

The biggest difference between the two lay in the fact that the challenges in an occupied Divine Domain didn’t change.

The challenge, once set, would remain unchanged. If someone else came to contest the Divine Domain, they didn’t need to overcome it immediately. They could simply note the details of the challenge, take that information back with them, and then study it at their leisure to find a relatively easy way to crack it.

Within an unowned Divine Domain, however, if one encountered a challenge and couldn’t overcome it within the time limit, upon being ejected and later returning, the challenge would change. It would become entirely new, making it consistently difficult for one to conquer.
