Chapter 1640 Survival
Chapter 1640 Survival
Sylas’ eyes opened from the bottom of the lake, the dark waters flowing over him in cool streams that chilled one to the bone.
He put Nosphaleen back into the Hibernation Realm and then pulled himself up to the shores.
E-Grade Aether did have quite a good effect on him. At the very least, it was doing a much better job than what he had been doing previously in helping to fill out his new Foundation as an A-Grade Race.
It felt like every time Sylas was close to building his Foundation, something else would stop him. But right about now, he felt confident that he would be able to continue forward soon.
Now that he had brought his Race to the A-Grade, there was absolutely zero chance that he could progress to the E-tier and lose Primus Imperium.
The strongest Races in the whole of the Milky Way Sector were just C-Grade, not even close to the C+ levels. So long as he could get close to unearthing all of that A-Grade potential, making it to Level 51 alone should be enough to leave any doubt about who the strongest E-tier of their Sanctum was.
As he progressed, it should only get easier to maintain Primus Imperium because, as far as he was aware, there had never been a B-tier born from their Sector in the first place.
Of course, he didn’t know that with 100% certainty, and maybe there was one at some point somewhere. But whoever they were, they were definitely small in number and should be easier to surpass by comparison, simply because of being part of such a small population.
Once Sylas reached that point, the only thing blocking his path to keeping Primus Imperium indefinitely was ensuring that he never lost to someone of the same Tier.
Now that… that would be far more difficult. Even Sylas wasn’t arrogant enough to claim that he would always be capable of such a thing-especially when there was a huge 50-Level span for every Tier, Levels which only became more and more important, and the gaps between which only became more excessive the higher in Tier you went.
However… it was smarter to simply deal with one problem at a time.

Sylas’ Physical stats had all gone up by around 30,000 in just a week or so. That was a more than 10% increase in such a short period of time. There was no doubt that this was in great thanks to his environment, but he was also realizing just how slow this was.
And he was likewise realizing just how close to what would inevitably be his limits he was getting.
Logically, he should be able to improve his Physical stats to at least around 350,000 or so. Not accounting for Titles and things of the like, this number seemed to be around the max.
A creature like the World Serpent had stats around 400-450,000, and it was a creature of absolute perfection, representing what would probably be around the best the S-Grade had.
Of course, that didn’t include what Titles and other advantages it would have. Its main body probably had stats closer to seven figures, if not above that, at Level 50.
By Sylas’ calculations, an A-Grade Race who was on the verge of the A+ level-like his Grimblades had been after turning down a chance to become Demi-Gods-he should have at least 80,000 more Physical stat points in him somewhere.
But he just couldn’t unearth it.
Sylas knew this was a limitation of having a body that started at the F-Grade. He had too many “faulty pipes” within himself to suddenly become perfect.
His children would certainly not have this problem.
Of course, Sylas had once had a solution to this: the Duchess. But he had said he wouldn’t use that method anymore. So, he would need another.
Sylas stretched, his body popping and his tendons roaring as it unleashed hidden strength and power.
He had a few ideas. Whether they would work, though… well, that was another matter entirely.
Sex was one of the things that spiked evolution. The desire to pass on Genes was something universal-so universal that Sylas could even make use of the Lust Seed to purge himself of his weaknesses.
But there was something even more fundamental than sex, something that, if one did without, procreation would be nothing more than a figment of the imagination.
Survival.
Sylas stepped onto the surface of the lake, having risen to the very top slowly only to find himself surrounded by three armies, each made up of several dozen elites.
The 001 Sanctum. The 002 Sanctum. The 007 Sanctum.
He didn’t seem surprised at all by the changes. If he had wanted to avoid it, he wouldn’t have stayed in this one location for the last three waves. There were plenty of other lakes and bodies of water he could have made use of, but he decided not to.
He looked up into the skies to see that there were nine Sanctums remaining. Including himself, that meant there were only eight others. It seemed the 007 Sanctum was truly cutting it close. Or maybe they no longer cared, since their ranking would be about the same no matter what now.
After all, they were one of the two Sanctums with Gralith’s Spirit Beast at the core of their Scorpion Lineage, and it was unsurprising that their Scorpion Warlord would be here as a result.
