Suddenly, he noticed a strangely shaped boulder halfway up the northern mountain peak.

The more Long Ming looked at it, the more he felt something was off. He walked to the edge, grabbed a dangling rope, and prepared to rappel down.

"Long Ming, where are you going?"

Jing Chuan called out when he saw Long Ming about to leave.

"I’m going out to do some recon."

Long Ming explained simply to Jing Chuan.

"Be careful. Those Blood Breath Birds haven’t left; they’re still circling nearby."

Jing Chuan reminded Long Ming.

"Don’t worry, I know!"

Long Ming deftly slid down the rope.

THUD~

Long Ming landed easily and immediately headed toward the mountain peak ahead.

「Twenty-some minutes later.」

Long Ming followed a small path up the mountain and reached the halfway point, arriving in front of the boulder.

He observed it carefully, then reached out to touch the boulder. He immediately felt that its material wasn’t quite right.

Long Ming reached out and gave it a push.

The boulder was instantly pushed aside, revealing the entrance to a passage.

Long Ming walked all the way to the end and soon arrived in a huge, circular storeroom.

He soon stuffed a whole bunch in and continued onward, satisfied.

Then, Long Ming saw a rack up ahead with three metal boxes placed on it by themselves.

He curiously picked up one of the metal boxes and opened it. A rugged-looking 50mm caliber round came into view.

A prompt instantly popped up on his wristband.

Seeing the prompt on his wristband, Long Ming immediately took out his Blast God Gun, loaded one round, and stored the other two.

When he first found this weapon, it had only come with a single round. Later, when he wanted to use it, it was as useless as scrap iron without any ammo.

He never expected to find more here.

Feeling increasingly excited, Long Ming continued deeper inside.

He soon reached the end, where five metal platforms stood.

On each platform rested a suit of second-generation mechanical exoskeleton armor.

The five exoskeleton suits varied in color and style. The most eye-catching was the black second-generation suit on the central platform. It had a V-shaped head, a carbon-black metallic sheen, and dark red patterns. It looked incredibly cool, and it was obvious that its performance was the best.

Without hesitation, Long Ming took off his Night Ghost exoskeleton armor, walked onto the metal platform, and changed into the Dark Owl suit.

Although that mecha armor was extremely powerful, Long Ming wouldn’t use it unless it was absolutely necessary.

For one thing, it left him weakened after battle. For another, it caused great harm to his body.

Once Long Ming had it on, he activated the Dark Owl, and its dark red eyes immediately lit up.

Long Ming drew the paired Black Blade and swung it through the air.

He sheathed the Black Blade and turned to leave.

Qian Luobing said coolly.

"There’s nothing to be done," Qiansha replied, frustrated. "Mountain City Mountain is out of transport aircraft. It was already their limit just to get us here. If it comes down to it, we’ll fight hand-to-hand and hold out for as long as we can."

"I suppose that’s all we can do."

Qian Luobing didn’t say anything more.

Just then, Long Ming came running from a distance. The soldiers on guard duty were startled and raised their weapons toward him, shouting at the same time.

"Unidentified person approaching!"

Hearing this, Qiansha and Qian Luobing immediately turned to look.

When Long Ming saw everyone aiming their weapons at him, he quickly shouted.

"Don’t shoot! It’s me, Long Ming!"

"Long Ming? When did he change his gear? I’ve never seen that exoskeleton armor before!"

Qiansha said, completely bewildered.

Every suit of second-generation exoskeleton armor was precious, and he was familiar with each one.

A glint flashed in Qian Luobing’s eyes. She then said to Qiansha,

"It looks like he’s found something. Let’s go down and see!"

"Alright!"

Qiansha instantly understood.

The two of them walked to the edge and jumped straight down.

Long Ming was taken aback to see Qiansha and Qian Luobing. He had originally planned to tell Luoxue first.

"What did you find?"

Qian Luobing asked directly.

"Uh, I found an Aniska Empire storeroom. It’s full of weapons and equipment."

Since Qian Luobing was asking, Long Ming didn’t hide it.
