Evolving My Undead Legion In A Game-Like World

Chapter 441 Queries

Chapter 441: Chapter 441 Queries

After Lucien’s departure, Michael took a few moments to himself.

A moment later, he made his way back to his room.

There weren’t many loose threads left for Michael to address in the capital so he wanted to use his available time to settle some things in Aurora.

And then, with Wisdom tucked away and Spartan summoned to protect his body, Michael set off for Aurora with his mark of origin.

The moment he arrived, Michael reached out for his phone like an obsessed teenager.

Though it was currently evening in Aurora, aside from his undead, Michael was the only one in his residence.

Aunt Mia and Lily were still away.

However, used to this, Michael focused on his business.

First thing he did was check the school chat group.

The group chat—still as bland and disorganized as ever—was filled with scattered conversations, memes, and occasional panic about preparation.

But the pinned message hadn’t changed.

College Entrance: Four Days Remaining. Please be sure to arrive early.

There were no new updates.

Michael closed the app and immediately went to his browser where he logged into the Super Association forum.

Michael stared at the login screen for a moment before pressing enter.

The Super Association forum loaded with its familiar layout.

But Michael wasn’t here to scroll mindlessly.

He tapped the search bar at the top and typed in the question that had been nagging at him since his bond with Wisdom.

“How do beast tamers store their beasts?”

Dozens of threads popped up instantly. As expected, the information pool was wide—but fractured. He quickly noticed that the content fell into two distinct categories: posts by cultivators, and posts by awakeners.

He clicked one tagged under [Cultivation Path].

The first few lines already had Michael frowning.

“Traditional cultivators without a beast-taming awakening typically use beast pouches to store their tamed creatures. However, beast pouches are quite expensive, as even the cheapest of them require millions to purchase.”

Michael groaned. “Another expense but a solution at least.”

Then he clicked on a thread under the [Awakened: Beast Tamer Class] tag.

Immediately, a video post auto-played at the top. It featured a confident young woman standing beside a lion-sized panther before it shimmered and disappeared into thin air.

“All Beast Tamers gain a Beast Storage Space upon awakening. This functions like a spatial dimension all Awakeners have. You can summon or dismiss your bonded beasts at will. Storage limits depend on your class rank, but even rank 1 beast tamers can carry two to three creatures without issue.”

Michael raised a brow. That… was convenient.

He continued.

“Only Awakeners with the Beast Tamer class have this ability by default. The space is tied to the class’s internal structure and can’t be accessed without it. Skills that allow you to tame beasts—without actually awakening as a Beast Tamer—do not grant this storage space.”

There it was.

Michael leaned back in his chair and sighed.

He wasn’t an Awakened Beast Tamer. He’d just had a taming skill. That made all the difference.

So no spatial beast storage for him.

Michael frowned.

But he wasn’t one to sulk for long.

Michael straightened up, cracked his knuckles, and opened a new tab.

“How do beast pouches work?”

The search returned less results this time. Michael clicked one that seemed promising.

[Alternate Methods of Transporting Beasts Without Beast Tamer Class]

Michael scrolled quickly through the replies. Most were complaints about the cost of beast pouches.

But then his eyes caught a comment almost buried in the noise.

“Awakeners who tame beasts but aren’t beast tamers can still use beast pouches to store their bonded creatures. The key is the bond. The pouch uses this bond as the anchor to stabilize the creature inside. Those beasts can travel with you—even between Origin and your local plane through the use of your storage space.”

Michael froze.

His eyes locked on that line.

“Even between Origin and your local plane.”

Michael’s mind reeled.

This wasn’t just a solution to Wisdom’s storage problem.

This was a bridge.

He sat in stunned silence for a moment, the weight of the discovery settling in.

If the bond between Awakeners and their beasts could be used to transfer them between realms—between the Land of Origin and Aurora—perhaps it wasn’t just beasts that could cross over.

It was anything bonded.

“No way,” he muttered.

But the thought had already taken root.

If beast pouches could carry living creatures between worlds so long as they were tamed—anchored through the right bond—then what else could be carried across?

Could he bring someone from Origin to Aurora?

The implications were terrifying. And exhilarating.

Michael leaned forward, fingers flying across the keyboard now. He searched for high-tier beast pouches. .

The prices were brutal.

The best pouches cost more than weapons. More than armor. Some were auction-only. Others required credentials. But it was acceptable for him. Difficult, but doable.

Michael sat back again, exhaling slowly.

He was going to need a beast pouch.

As for whether he was going to use the beast pouch for something other than storing his tamed beasts, Michael decided to leave that to his future self.

Just now, he had searched the forum to see if beast pouches could be used to transport anything other than beasts. Unfortunately, nothing had come up.

This could only mean two things.

One, the thread didn’t exist in the forum.

Two, Michael didn’t have enough rights to access that information. To confirm, he would need to rank up and upgrade his member level.

After bookmarking the thread, Michael leaned back and opened a new tab. His thoughts drifted to Wisdom again—particularly the owl’s peculiar appetite.

“Shiny stuff,” Michael muttered, rubbing his forehead.

“What do beast tamer pets eat?”

The forum loaded with posts, ranging from confused newbies to professional beast tamers discussing feeding habits. As expected, the responses were wide-ranging.

He skimmed a post.

“Different beasts eat different things depending on their species, level, and so on. The most common food source for tamed creatures is mana-infused monster meat. Some can survive on regular meat, but it’s not ideal. Without mana, their growth slows and their abilities may even regress.”
