Emperor’s Domination

Chapter 6911: Maternal Power

Chapter 6911: Maternal Power

The other immortals shared the same fear as Guangmai. This mortal was scarier than a celestial immortal.

They recalled Immortal Emperor Min Ren leading the charge. More than a hundred immortals from their alliance couldn’t build a barrier strong enough to stop him. Heads fell when he swung his blade.

Nevertheless, their grand momentum still stopped his saber intent. Later on, Mang joined the fight and spared them the effort.

They feared him but didn’t feel despair. The same couldn’t be said in this case. This feeling of hopelessness came from how the mortal didn’t do anything from start to finish. Alas, their grand momentum was still shattered.

If he had shown the power of a celestial immortal, then at least they knew what to expect. That momentum was strong enough to force a celestial immortal to use forty percent of their power.

In Guangmai’s case, he thought Li Qiye could wring his head and he wouldn’t have a clue of the process.

“Too late to choose your death now.” Li Qiye smiled and came closer.

They staggered backward, horrified.

“What is your realm?!” Guangmai could stay calm no longer.

“A mortal.” Li Qiye smiled.

“Bullshit!” He cursed, no longer maintaining the style of a primordial immortal: “A mortal can’t wield this much power.”

“Then you lack knowledge. It’s not strange at all for a mortal to be this powerful.” Li Qiye shook his head.

The group didn’t believe him. Guangmai’s eyes shifted between the heart and Li Qiye numerous times. A light suddenly flashed in his mind.

“The maternal power.” He speculated boldly.

“Interesting, what do you know?” Li Qiye seemed impressed.

As Guangmai researched the heart, he came across numerous legends. The majority were fabrications, but a few caught his attention. He knew more about the heart than Mang, Golden Immortal, and even Origination.

“Everyone wants to become an immortal so it’s rare for some to know about it. Unfortunately, this is the end of the road for all of you.” Li Qiye said.

The immortals froze in fear, feeling that death was approaching.

“What should we do?” The ten vagrant immortals thought about running.

“Just have to survive, there’s always tomorrow.” Godfiend said without hesitation, causing others to glare at her.

“Just a temporary measure.” She turned red.

“Where are we running to? Guardian is waiting outside.” Extinguish uttered coldly.

“You wish to abandon us?” Immortal Devourer said aggressively.

“Of course not.” She responded.

Any deserter would be targeted by the top immortals, not to mention the sealing barriers outside.

“We still have our ace card, using our combined might to unleash High Heaven Obliteration.” Guangmai told Li Qiye.

“I have heard of it before and am interested. Go for it.” Li Qiye smiled.

They felt suffocated after hearing his nonchalant response. They had combined just to prepare for the worst. However, they didn’t think they would actually use it.

After all, they had a primordial immortal on their side. Now, they didn’t even know if it would be effective against this mortal.

“In life and death, in flesh and blood.” Guangmai raised the staff of authority with both hands.

“Must we do this?” The vagrant immortals said.

“Until death, no regrets for our vow!” Guangmai shouted.

In reality, the others didn’t have a choice since they had joined with the staff.
