Chapter 6897: A Mortal

Excitement came next as they saw a bright future. Ever since they fell to the darkness, their dao heart became second to a heart devil. This phenomenon prevented any cultivation breakthrough.

Nonetheless, he needed their help – a high number of immortals and overlords to die for him.

“We have to get it now.” Immortal Devourer became impatient.

“Yes, seize the opportunity and you will be rewarded in the new world.” Controller said.

“My dao heart and heart devil will shatter there.” Immortal Devourer hesitated while staring at Golden Lamp.

The crowd observed the farthest region of Golden Lamp. The outer regions were possible if they moved with haste, especially Big-foot Immortal.

However, the illumination was stronger at their target. None wanted to be the first to go.

“Who is he? The heart is in his possession.” Controller stared at Li Qiye who was sitting beneath the primordial tree.

“No idea.” They could see he was a mortal.

“Why are we worrying about a mortal?” Bugflood Immortal Monarch said.

“A mortal with the world’s heart is a different matter. How strange.” Controller said.

“Mortal or immortal, we still have the upper hand. No matter how strong he is, we just need time to use High Heaven Obliteration.” Guangmai said.

“As long as he is not a celestial immortal, we will be fine. An immortal that has just reached the shore can still be obliterated.” Fire Immortal said.

“True.” The others agreed with him.

They had twenty immortals, five golden immortals, and one primordial immortal.

“There are three or so celestial immortals in Heavenrealm, and I know all of them.” Guangmai said.

The others knew of Mang and Immortal Emperor Min Ren. Both were dead.

Then Dusk and Heavenfall came next. Dusk fell during Heavenpit while Heavenfall went missing. Golden Law was another but Li Qiye was clearly not him.

Therefore, they were certain of victory since he couldn’t be a celestial immortal.

“We will use the formation if it is necessary. Creating a new world requires all of our strength.” Guangmai said.

“We will follow your order, Your Highness.” Immortal Devourer said.

“If he is truly strong, we cannot let him leave Stygian with the heart. The formation guarantees success, and that is all we can afford.” Fire Immortal said.

“And everyone else?” Guangmai smiled at the messengers.

As long as the golden immortals agreed, the others would do the same.

The three exchanged glances in contemplation. Guangmai didn’t rush them since the formation required their powers to be effective.

“Why are you hesitant?” Immortal Devourer shouted: “We’re on the same boat now, there’s no outsider anymore.”

“This is the final ace card, we might not have to use it.” Guangmai said: “The illumination is the current obstacle.”

Devouring Lord and God Messenger stared at Controller since he was the wisest, awaiting his response.
