“I apologize for my narrow ambition.” Taichu took a deep breath.

“Then you want more?” Li Qiye asked.

“Of course, although I am far from catching up to you, I will continue no matter what.” Taichu said.

“And I know you are prepared for death.” Li Qiye said casually, seemingly downplaying Taichu’s current cultivation.

“I’m still unsure whether you can kill me.” Taichu was aware of his current state.

“Of course, you’re not a true immortal and still are relying on external items.” Li Qiye said.

“What if I kill you first?” Taichu took a deep breath.

“It might be true, I haven’t tried it before.” Li Qiye stroked his chin.

“I suppose it’s a speed contest then, whether I can kill you first with the will or you breaking my invincibility.” Taichu said, having confidence in winning this race.

“I’ll be faster for sure.” Li Qiye said.

“I’m not someone who gives up without trying.” Taichu said.

“Then prepare for death.” Li Qiye nodded approvingly.

“Can we somehow try this in one decisive move, Sacred Teacher?” Taichu took a deep breath.

“Sure thing, just know there can only be one outcome.” Li Qiye said.

Space twisted with ripples and became transparent like melting snow, revealing a world within the primordial tree.

Two figures came out, leaving the crowd speechless. They had no physical form and resembled fire avatars. They were also transparent but the tree’s world couldn’t be seen in the reflection.
