Chapter 1005: Three village pass (3)

Chapter 1005: Chapter 1005: Three village pass (3)

On the 16th floor of the Dungeon Frost and Daki stood before a large mountain face, the peak of it being beyond one’s line of sight, obscured by thick, chilling clouds that could erupt at any moment with thunderous lighting and flurries of ice and snow.

In front of this mountain face however a large village or fort had been carved, strong walls and gates guarded access from the outside. Buildings were arranged in several different tiers and gradients, houses, barracks and communal areas but they were all empty making for a rather eery sight.

"I think the frost dwarves will do well here. There’s more than enough room to house a 120 perhaps even a 150 without feeling cramped." Frost commented after they walked through the empty streets and inspected several of the buildings. The size, shape and even the location was ideal for his industrious dwarves. If they needed more space they could easily dig deeper into the mountain or further below ground.

What you could see from the outside was merely half its true size, 50% of the fort was actually housed underground.

"I’m sure they’ll love the place, but it’ll take a lot of work and time to become a proper functioning village." All the buildings were empty, no furniture or décor to speak of and bar the wall itself the place had zero defences in place. Frost would have to either purchase them individually or have the dwarves gradually build up their supply using either the environment around them or reserves harvested on the upper floors.

"True but we’ve got time, even if I move half the monsters down a few floors making descending easier there’s still floors 12 through 15 to be conquered, they’ll have more than enough time to establish themselves." Frost wasn’t worried about the fort’s current state; it was derelict but not a ruin. As long as a bit of life was injected it’d be right as rain.

"Come on let’s check out the rest of the villages." He didn’t transfer any monsters over just yet; he still had to work out the exact numbers and who went where for a couple of the villages.

For example the frost dwarf village they inspected first was larger than both the second and third village in the first room and that was because the frost dwarves he had access to were on average weaker than the other races he planned to have inhabit those villages so they had to be more plentiful to stand up to the level of adventurers and non-intelligent monsters that would be present on this floor. If the village was too weak adventurers would easily take advantage of them, going for a killing approach over diplomacy which was the opposite of what Frost wanted.

The second village was surrounded by tundra dunes and very tall and very thick trees. There was also a bevy of fast moving streams with water far colder than standard ice flowing throughout the area, feeding into a large lake as well as a deep moat that circled the entire village. The place was awash with natural barriers.

It was a little smaller than the mountain side village, the buildings were also a fair bit larger as though designed to house large and tall species.

"Frost trolls." Daki said the moment she laid eyes on it.

"Frost trolls." Frost concurred, he planned to put frost trolls in the second village, likely maxing out at 75 or 80 members even with some gradual expansions.

They were a lot stronger on average than the frost dwarves so they didn’t need nearly as much to serve as a strong deterrent to the visiting adventurers nor the non-intelligent monsters who would serve as their opponents in this fictional dynamic that Frost intended to create.

Again after brief walk through the structure the couple headed onward to their next destination, the 3rd village that was situated near the entrance to the 2nd room and was a bit different from the last two.

"Well that’s quite the sight." Muttered Daki in amazement, her head craned back as it looked up at the 3rd village Frost designed.

The entire village was shaped like a massive beehive and was hanging roughly 20 metres from the ground. A massive crystal pillar rose from the floor and kept going as far as the eye could see, the thick clouds blocking seeing anything beyond 200 metres. The 3rd village was within this crystal pillar, the only entrance for those without wings being a narrow staircase incapable of supporting more than the breadth of a single person.

Frost intended to house frost sprites in this village, small intelligent creatures that were part spirit and bore a form not so dissimilar to fairies and pixies. They stood no more than 1 metre tall at best; a large set of butterfly wings spread from their backs allowing them to fly and hover in the air without effort. Well known as tricksters notorious for using their innocent child like appearances and voices to lure in unsuspecting victims. Skilled with ice and illusion magic and at their heart petty and fond of a meat rich diet. No plants, grains or vegetables for these sprites no they like fresh, blood dripping meat, full on carnivores.

"I’ll have frost sprites dwell in this village, their ability to fly and small stature make this structure an almost impenetrable fortress." Adventurers would have to slowly and individually scale the crystal pillar in order to gain access thus giving the sprites a lot defensive options.

"Out of all three villages I’m sure this one will be the most popular when it comes to acts of diplomacy."

"Because they’re cute."

"Yes, everyone enjoys beauty even if that beauty does not enjoy them." Sprites were cute and adorable but still monsters at heart, their temptations and playfulness all ploys to have their targets let down their guard.

"Isn’t that kinda the pot calling the kettle black." Frost eyed Daki up and down, drawing attention to the woman’s immense beauty as well as her monstrous origins.

"Perhaps but I’m not trying to eat you am I~" Daki licked her lips in a suggestive manner. Unlike the sprites she wasn’t using her beauty to then sink her teeth into Frost’s succulent flesh and gnaw on his pearl white bones.

"....You were last night." Those delectable lips of hers were tightly wrapped around a certain part of him, sucking out his....nutrients if you will.

"Hehehehe~ then maybe we really aren’t all that different" She compared herself or rather the succubus part of her to the frost sprite race but soon found a glaring incompatibility. "Though I doubt you’d ever see a sprite of any kind lugging around beauties like these." She grabbed her gargantuan breasts with both hands, pushing them up against the fabric of her dress.

"That’s certainly true." Frost’s eyes radiated lust, wanting to take the beautiful orc succubus here and now in celebration of his creation. His hands quickly got to work loosening the hem of her dress but for a brief second he stopped, a strange image flashing through his mind, an action Daki didn’t fail to notice.

"You just imagined a cute, adorable sprite armed with massive tits didn’t you?"

"Of course I did. I’m young man who’s horny 24/7 and you practically placed the image in my mind." He didn’t deny it, why should he, lust was a very natural thing. "And can you honestly tell me you’re not picturing the exact same thing right now?" He flipped the accusation back on her knowing Daki was no less insatiable than himself, she needed very little reason to engage in such acts.

"....Damn it." She was thinking it.

"Hehe." Frost proudly chuckled, it was rare for him to come out on top in a battle like this.

".... So we doing this or what?" Such a distraction wouldn’t deter her from getting her rocks off.

"Is here good or do you want to head back to the bedroom?" He for one was more than open to taking her on the snow covered floor.

"Bedroom, my skin isn’t as durable as yours." She was actually quite a fan of outdoor loving but given how brutal her partner could be and the sturdiness of the ground here the bedroom would be in her body’s best interest.

"Your wish is my command my Queen." With an eager smile on his lips Frost picked Daki up in his arms and teleported them to the private space.

Not even giving brief hello or invite to Maya, Frost charged into their master bedroom and pumped Daki full of celebratory goodness.

2 hours later - a quickie by their standards- the couple exited the bedroom and enjoyed a delicious meal, recharging themselves before heading back down to the 16th floor. They still had another two rooms to visit and villages to populate with monsters.

Maya gave them some side eye during lunch, miffed about being left out of their two person world but she didn’t vocalise it. She’d been with Frost a lot recently, so it was only fair that Daki got a turn.

Instead she tried to focus on her own role within the Dungeon, she wasn’t much of a Guardian anymore due to her drop in strength, but she was still very much Frost’s teacher when it came to battle but she wanted to do more. Daki was their prime blacksmith, Findley, Khuno and Yuna all had their own roles and even the kids Nanna and Loki were hard at work trying to gain the skills necessary to help Frost out.

Only she seemed to be lacking a goal, or interest to work with.
