Ember ranks up after reaching level 100,000 and receives the [Celestial Dragon’s Sacred Body] buff.
It begins to activate, as he finally lets fragments of medium-quality ether left inside his mental storage for times like these, flow through him. Yet, as his true Celestial energy purifies and grows his body outward, growing over ten times larger than his Astral Form, he thinks to himself:
‘A Sacred Body? That is a very good sign… I haven’t managed to awaken one of these since the Era of the Elves…’
The massive wings, over 50 thousand kilometers from tip to tip, snap open, and the damage on Ember’s flesh from the Demonic Dragon’s earlier attacks heals up as white-hot light fills his body. In fact, he now towers over his opponent.
The arrogant Demonic Dragon that was trying to degrade Ember moments ago is struck with intense fear.
Shockwaves of energy from a duel in the sky, from a human and a demon, both the same size, shake the entire zone of the Upper Realm. The only thing protecting him from these horrific blasts coming out of the dark black cloud in the sky is his enemy.
Ember’s wide wings act as a shield, and he looks down at the Demonic Dragon that was so confident moments ago.
A breath of white fire escapes his mouth, downward.
“The Demons have caused enough havoc. The same race that unleashed their wrath on this system will be the ones to tear them down. I have fallen enough times. You know exactly where I am headed, and there is nothing more you can do about it. The cycle is finally breaking again.”
This echoes in the back of the Demonic Dragon’s mind, as a flash of golden light unseals various trapped memories inside its hive-mind-like consciousness.
The Demonic Dragon does not even try to fight back.
The white translucent Celestial flames begin to envelop him, as he stares upward, only seeing the pristine white glowing Immortal Dragon above him.
Silver threads still shimmer beneath his Sacred Body, and there is a faint golden glow in this dragon’s eyes too, as it looks like he is holding back…
Two Dragons’ Roars echo through the bottom of the Realm while the explosions high up within the dark mist cloud stop all of a sudden.
A horrific roar erupts from within this black void, and the strange mutation of Royal Vibrations pushes out a cold, rage-filled sensation that fluctuates with absurd power.

The waves of energy coming off of Miriel Vermillion are even more strange up close.
They’re compressing and bending space at very odd angles.
Even the black void I’ve created around me is bending, and small areas of it are being torn apart, like portions of space are being created or revealed in directions I wasn’t able to sense until I looked toward them.
It feels slightly similar to the Realm Wave I vaguely sensed before… but in a far weaker state, only affecting small areas of compressed and distorted space.
From the animalistic roars echoing out from his mouth, and the beast-like rage filling his eyes, whatever breakthrough he’s attempting to trigger is not a fully conscious decision.
Dense cracks start forming all over his Demonic Form, and stronger tendrils of corruption begin leaking out, especially out from the white glowing wounds I’ve left all over his body.
The energy build-up is so fast, intense, and dangerous; I’m positive that in the next few moments, he’s going to self-destruct just like that corrupted demon in the Lower Realm… but on a much more massive scale.
I deactivate every single skill I have, making the void in the air disappear, to solely focus my energy on my foresight skill.
Every single passing millisecond makes the millions of calculated, perceived futures become more and more clear in my mind.
Any attack I make will lead to a self-destruction, aiming to take me out, and spread a wave of Royal Grade corruption throughout the whole realm.
I’m positive I can kill him, but my foresight skill does not allow me to see a future to how powerful or far this wave of corruption can truly travel… or if I can survive the impact myself after killing him.
“Miriel! You will be remembered as a failure, not a savior! I will stop you from destroying this zone and everyone in it! I promise you that, I will do whatever it takes!” I yell.
All of my manifested white and red soul sword copies surround me, glowing with the barriers and layers of divine and celestial energy. It creates a perfect sphere.
I begin adding layers of my solid elemental skills like ice and earth magic to their outer layers, to begin the start of a more solid array, strengthening their weight in reality with a heavy hand.
In front of me, out from the cracks in Miriel’s body, the corruption that leaks out sparkles with red and purple light, like I’m looking into a vast universe inside him. All of his flesh is melting away, and his entire body has been consumed by corruption. Even his mind.
It appears to be compressing in on itself, forcing the waves of Royal Vibrations to become denser and colder, sharper, and more deadly. Yet, every forceful compression that is made, large amounts of the energy reject being created, and escape the vessel that is too weak to hold them. Internal explosions of energy create bursts on the dark oily body’s surface, and cause shockwaves to erupt out from the mutated Demon.
They send dense black cracks through reality.
It’s like nothing I’ve ever witnessed before.
I’m peering into tears in space, some of them letting me look down into the darkness, below this zone, into the Lower Realm; while other cracks lead elsewhere, to pockets of space where the divine threads are compacted so densely, that cyan glimmers peek through.
The cracks spread extremely fast, and they are poisoned with corruption.
Their edges give off a cold aura, vibrating with purple and red demonic energy; infecting the air both here in this zone, and in the other zones these rejected, compressed versions of Royal Vibrations touch.
The only description that comes to mind when the energy readings of these waves hit me is that of a High Royal… It’s like he’s attempting to gain a new level of understanding, to use these Royal Vibrations for something even greater than he can now…
It is tearing this zone apart.
The cracks in space stretch over a million kilometers outward, and begin to get near the dragons down below, but also the elf protecting the lords high above me.
At the speed they’re spreading, I now see foresight futures where these cracks do in fact spread far enough to destroy every single citadel in this zone, and fill it with corruption; to obliterate it from existence…
The sights of the future that could be irreversible in the next few fractions of a second flashing through my mind are terrifying.
I shadowstep forward, to find myself face to face with the feral Demon once again; and thrust the flaming red and white soul sword in my grasp forward, into the Demon’s chest.
With all of my strength, I thrust it upward at a sharp angle to pierce its True Green divine core.
By the time I’ve sliced through its first core, I feel one of its long, curved horns, now filled entirely with corruption and Royal Vibrations, sink deep into my shoulder.
I feel its core shatter, and at the same time cold energy floods into my side, staining my white Sacred Body with darkness; but I don’t back down. I jerk my body to the side and thrust the sword downward toward its heart to crack through its Royal Demon core as well.
This gives it enough time to bite my other shoulder with its rows of sharp teeth, and use its remaining leg to thrust a clawed foot through my stomach.
More and more cold energy surges through me, poisoning my body, and sinking deep into my soul; as it’s quite literally touching the outer manifestation of it right now.
It is the most excruciating feeling I’ve ever felt, but my mind stays completely calm, as I’ve felt this exact future and many variations of it millions of times already.
This is the only way to save everything and everyone.
I thrust my sword to the side through the gaping hole in its chest one more time to finish the complete and total shattering of its demonic and divine core. Then, release a wave of Celestial Fire in between the two of us from my sword.
The black demon’s body becomes flooded with white light, and explodes.
This, in turn, releases a blast of energy hundreds of times more violent than the vibrations it was letting out moments ago…
All of the cracks in reality ripple with a sharp wave of High Royal Vibrations that release at their full strength, mixed with my Celestial Fire.
The cracks that threaten to shatter the realm pulse white and red, and a shockwave from the center of that threat begins to expand these cracks and make things far worse…
The array of copied soul swords that were charging up all of the defensive skills I had are now all set in place, around the outer edges of where every one of these cracks lies.
Bright green and white hexagonal arrays appear on the tips of every single one of my soul sword copies.
They point inward, creating a defensive sphere, that will reflect anything and everything blasted its way back down toward myself at the center. The shock of the blast separated between tens of thousands of my true core defensive abilities.

From the outside, this sphere I’ve created looks almost exactly like the Grand Citadel did moments ago when this fight began… It is close to the same size, and position in the air. The only difference is that it glows entirely white.
When the explosion goes off inside, for the first few milliseconds… it appears as though nothing at all happened, like my defensive arrays all worked perfectly without any stress; but soon the reality becomes visible.
Dark black bubbling corruption starts to become visible even from the outside, creating tens of thousands of hexagonal black outlines on the pristine white structure. It looks like an incredibly massive Celestial sports ball with countless patches and seams holding it together.

On the inside, I feel the detonation that occurs right in front of me tear my body to shreds once again.
The last thing I hear is this demonic beast’s wild roar blaring into my consciousness, but it translates into anger-filled, arrogant echoing laughter; as it still thinks it has won.
And truthfully… I cannot see the true future outcome, so it might have.
I feel like I’ve been blown back into my crumbling mind palace again once my vision goes black.
I lose all sensation of my body, but I hear notifications blaring in my inner ear.

So many more notifications ring in my mind, but a few glow the brightest and I press yes on everything I see.
The massive self-made prison I’ve created in the sky instantly fills with a dense and dark pool of Royal Grade corruption.
Ripples of white Celestial energy start to pulse throughout the outward edge of the sphere I’ve made, as the new levels gained and Celestial Energy maturity that follows strengthen their power.
However, the pressure inside still desperately needs to be released.
This Royal Demon created enough energy to flood the entire Green Zone—it is just in its compressed state here…
Every passing millisecond makes the bulges in the outer layers of these cracks grow darker and darker.
The layer of defensive arrays is getting compressed more and more, moving toward their breaking point.
When that happens, all of the force pushing in on them will explode outward, creating a chain reaction that will release the dense cracks through the Green Zone, and the corruption flood will spread.
I activate my [Royal Bloodline Transformation], and my new skill [Corruption], while simultaneously focusing on the true core abilities of [Plunderer] and [Absorption].
The only way to stop this wave of destruction from spreading outward is to contain it inside myself…
