Divine Emperor of Death

Chapter 4806 Leaving The Secret Realm?

Chapter 4806  Leaving The Secret Realm?

Davis constantly reminded them of what they had planned, repeatedly telling them to prioritize their safety above all.

He didn't want something happening to them while he was away- not a single scratch should fall on them.

Finally, it was time to leave.

Davis asked after a bit of hesitation, "Are Jade Aurora and Ivy Aries still in the Time-Attributed Shard Region? Did you hear about them walking out?"

Evelynn nodded, "Tia kept an eye on them. She did say she managed to send them a message through the Time-Attributed Shard Region through karmic means. However, it is unknown whether they exited. But still, they did reply to Tia that they would leave quickly and thanked her."

"Is that so? Great…"

Davis nodded before staring at them.

At this point, he forgot how to say goodbye. Words wouldn't come out of his mouth, and neither could Isabella and Evelynn respond.

The atmosphere around them turned silent, yet it was full of longing.

Davis suppressed the painful swelling in his heart before he turned to look at Rioxys Plume, who was seated on a stone some distance away.

"Little spirit, I'll leave everything to you. Please protect them."

"I will~"

Rioxys Plume nodded. Her figure flashed as she swooped closer, taking Evelynn and Isabella towards the spatial vortex.

"No!"

Evelynn and Isabella reached out their hands to him, unable to stop their tears from spilling out. They had so much they wanted to say, but time was ticking. Even as Evelynn walked in and out of the spatial vortex, she was creating divergence as she was also an Anarchic Divergent who possessed the ability to use annihilative heavenly poison.

Davis could barely see their tears before they disappeared from the spatial fold. The True Deity Grade Concealment Formation activated in this place, concealing the entirety of the space. He walked out, sighing as he predicted that Evelynn might follow suit, reasoning that she was also an Anarchic Divergent and needed to undergo tribulation with him.

Fortunately, he had planned for this as he forcefully had Rioxys Plume take her inside.

Walking out of that space, he summoned an Exalt Grade Flying Boat belonging to Rioxys Plume that she gifted him earlier. He flew fast, returning to the Wrathful Aeons Shard Region. However, his expression grew increasingly hesitant, haunted by words from a remnant realm.

[Apologies, I can't let you walk past me. My circumstances are special and require me to keep my mouth shut, but this is nothing more than a stopgap measure, so please— don't.]

[The path ahead is vicious, one that makes you a full-fledged evil being. However, no matter what you do or become, don't forget we will always be there for you, so this time… will you leave some space for us…? For me…?]

These firm yet soft words kept echoing in his mind as he thought about Jade Aurora's well-being. Whether they escaped was truly unknown. They might not be able to leave at all, considering that temporal space was an extremely difficult space to traverse. One might be stuck at a particular spot for centuries!

"Dammit!"

Davis cursed. He turned the flying boat around and headed to the Mountain-Sea Painting Shard Region. He had seen the map when they were planning where to go, as there were all sorts of dimensional pathways to the True Immortal World to consider, and knew where that Time-Attributed Mid-Level Shard Region was from his memory.

He reached the Mountain-Sea Paining Shard Region quickly but had no time to admire the beauty, hurriedly making his way to another Shard Region. Then again. Yet again. Still crossing another Shard Region before he arrived at the sixth Shard Region after an entire day.

Finally, he found the entrance to the Mid-Level Time-Attributed Shard Region that Jade Aurora and Ivy Aries entered, his expression blank.

"Why the fuck did I come here?" He abruptly lashed out, wondering what he was doing, acting on impulse when it was time he should be exiting the Elemental Dimension and entering the Six-Headed Hydra Upper Realm.

The line of Shard Regions he had crossed was full of Mid-Level Shard Regions. He was utterly suppressed here. If he made a move against any being, he would be a goner. He knew he was also racing against time. Every move he made was only going to worsen it.

He closed his eyes and calmed down. It was still not too late to leave.

But when he opened his eyes, a hint of determination flashed across his eyes, "My apologies. I'll only check once since I have to leave no matter what, but with this, the Davis Family and I are no longer indebted to your great self for saving us back then."

He waved his hand, sending a talisman inscribed with runes made from soul force inside and extending his soul sense since it directly copied himself like an afterimage, but was as real as it could be since it was a substitution talisman. Whether he was attacked or the talisman was attacked, the attack would only affect the talisman.

His soul sense was instantly frozen in time in some areas, and in other areas, moved faster or slower. That talisman that aided the soul barely lasted for a second before it vanished. The soul sense that froze remained frozen, but the one that moved fast and slow showed him different scenes before the slower one disappeared.

The faster one- allowed him to vaguely sense something.

A group of people.

Davis was momentarily surprised to still see people here, but he decisively reached out his hand when he sensed a familiar aura. The Temporal Voidplane Ring entered the spatial vortex along with his hand as he activated its powers.

Spacetime quivered in the wake of a special treasure entering the time-attributed shard region, instantly ceasing their powerful throes of throwing time into chaos, disallowing lifeforms to move freely for a mere moment.

Davis suddenly pulled out his hand, and a emerald-white robed woman fell into his embrace as she exited the spatial vortex.

"Wahh!"

Behind her, many followed, face-smashing into the ground, but their expressions were full of happiness.

"Thank the heavens! We're no longer trapped in that timespace!"

"We're saved!"

Rejoicing cheers echoed, but two women remained dumbstruck.

One was in Davis's embrace, and the other was standing by their side, her expression incredulous.

"Valley Master, it's been a long time."

Davis welcomed Jade Aurora in his arms, his expression calm, but inwardly heaved a sigh of relief as she appeared to be still here. He didn't know what might've happened if he had gone his own way.

On the other hand, Jade Aurora still looked dumbstruck, unable to take her gaze away as though she had looked at a ghost.
