Chapter 3439: Abi
Chapter 3439: Abi
A few hours passed, and Zangeshu eventually came out of the Formations Hall. He headed to the residential district, where many buildings akin to apartments could be seen. He himself received a private room in one of those buildings since he wasn’t in the Void Tempering Realm yet.
He didn’t go there, though. Instead, he passed by them, ultimately arriving at an area not as convoluted. Many small estates spread, and they were all slightly higher up the mountain, contrary to the apartments. Those were all private residences, most of them being used by disciples and elders who were capable of paying for their rent.
Zangeshu landed at one of those estates, and after using his Divine Sense on the entrance, the door opened, allowing his passage. In a while, Zangeshu was already inside a workshop that could be found in the residence. "This direct disciple benefit of yours isn’t completely useless, it seems."
Rean looked back at Zangeshu, smiling. "Right? I didn’t really want it, but since I have this badge, why not use it to the fullest? Hahaha! Because I’m a Core Elder’s Directly disciple, I only have to pay a tenth of the price for this estate. It is quite good."
Zangeshu approached, seeing that Rean was working on the inscriptions of a small plate. "This seems a lot more interesting than your badge."
"You arrived at the right time," Rean returned his attention to the plate. "Have you ever seen a Circuitry Runes Armor?"
Zangeshu nodded. "I saw them in the Werdlem Network, but our planet back in the Mortal World didn’t have the technology to build them."
Rean was happy to hear that. "That’s not the case anymore. This sect definitely has the equipment for us to build the right micro runes for the inscriptions. Truth be told, I would rather make another one of my System Armor, but that would take a while."
"Are we even going to use it in the end?" Zangeshu asked, lifting the plate with one of his hands. He analyzed it closely, very interested.
"Nope," Rean took it from Zangeshu’s hand. "But it serves well to understand the Divine Sense Circuitry Runes. I told you about my System Armor, right?"
Zangeshu nodded. The System Armor, while in its deactivated state, looked more like a small pyramid. Yet, once activated, it broke down into countless triangular micro runes that covered one’s entire body. It had two good abilities, one was that it allowed a better circulation of energies and elements outside the body. The other was its defensive and regenerative capabilities.
One could control it so the micro runes increased in density in specific areas at will. So, even if you were being attacked from behind, you could still tell your armor micro defensive runes to condense there before the impact. Millions of micro runes would be destroyed, but they would also be quickly replaced by the reserve micro runes, giving it a kind of regenerative property.
As long as enough micro runes remained, the armor’s defensive capability wouldn’t decrease. Rean made many of those armors, distributing them to the top experts of the Lisan Universe before that one last battle. They definitely played a pivotal role in their victory, putting everyone almost on par with the enemy’s forces’ top experts.
"Divine Sense was what we used to control my armor, and they worked incredibly well. However, these new Divine Sense Circuitry Runes we learned about are even better. The micro runes would answer the commands at twice the speed or more. That’s what I’m working on here at the moment. The Divine Snow Mountain Sect’s Workshop Equipment makes it possible," Rean explained.
"Come," Rean walked to the electrical furnace. "I will show you everything, and then we can work together to maybe be able to reproduce my System Armor in the future."
Zangeshu didn’t need to hear twice, joining Rean’s side. However, he didn’t forget his task earlier. "Talking about runes, I went to the Formations Hall. Their databases are as good as the databases of the Formations Guild, maybe even better. There was a lot of content regarding the Divine Sense Circuitry Runes, too. You should go take a look later."
Rean definitely would do it. "I’ll keep that in mind. Now, let’s start."

Somewhere else in the sect, Lotan arrived at a big area where several formations masters seemed to be working. There, he found a woman who looked deeply at a certain robot in front of her. "Abi, I got him onboard."
Abi narrowed her eyes, looking at Lotan. "How many times do I have to tell? Call me Sect Master!"
Lotan shrugged, not feeling the least bit afraid. "Happy or angry, it is impressive how you can be so cute every single time, Sect Master."
Abi felt like crying. Truth be told, it hasn’t been a long time since Abi ascended to the position of the Divine Snow Mountain Sect Master. Just a few hundred years had gone by, which wasn’t anything to cultivators of their level. Abi and Lotan have known each other for thousands of years, and pretty much only Lotan had the guts to treat Abi like that for that same reason.
"There will be a day I will punish you for your insolence," she spoke in a cold tone... although she seemed slightly red. One might wonder if she actually liked the compliment. "But now is not the time. So, his name was Rick Sanchez, right? Did he sign the contract?"
"He did," Lotan nodded, turning his attention to the robot. "As to whether he can awake the last Robot, that I don’t know. There is no need to hurry, though. We still have a few extra sect entrance exams in the next decades to go through before everything is ready. Perhaps we can find someone even better. Otherwise, we will simply use the three robots that you, me, and Xawery activated."
"I understand." Abi didn’t seem concerned. With the contract signed, a contract that her sect created, she was certain the news wouldn’t leave this place. "Let’s have the guys prioritize the mountain core from now on."
"That’s for the best." Lotan agreed with her, and the two continued to talk with each other and the formations masters in the area. No one knew what they were planning.
