As Nyx’s voice trailed off, she flickered her finger, and instantly, the casino’s illusion entirely shattered. The holographic lights bled into black rivers that flowed upward.

The guests froze mid-laugh, their avatars’ eyes turning crimson and their expressions twisting into grotesque smiles.

Once they finished this chant, they seemed to have fallen into a stunned state, and Nyx smirked before she rose from her seat, surrounded by the black threads.

"Now, who’s losing bitches?" Nyx scoffed as her hair flowed like living darkness, her gown blending into the shadow beneath her feet.

Right at that moment, she was no longer just an avatar within the Virtual Star World, for she had become its first and last Nightmare!

As she extended her hands outward, the very boundary of the casino shattered into a web of dark code that spread outward across the sector, infiltrating data streams, networks, and memories alike.

Yet, despite this disturbance, the world eye remained indifferent as if it didn’t notice anything, and it wasn’t just the world eye; anyone who wasn’t within the Nightmare Domain’s range couldn’t detect or see past its actual horrors.

Far away, in the Infinite Space, Jacob’s eyes flickered with a hint of satisfaction because he could feel the first heartbeat of the Nightmare Domain synchronizing with his Dreamscape Nightmare Realm!

The next moment, he closed his eyes, and he appeared within the Nightmare Realm!

When Jacob’s figure, in his Faery Human form, appeared in the dreamy throne room, where Nyx sat on her throne, adorned in a dress seemingly woven from stars, making her already otherworldly appearance even more alluring.

Furthermore, a faint trace of ethereal mist seemed to be emitting from her fingertips, and dark threads were spread around her throne.

However, the moment Jacob appeared, she smiled charmingly and, with a hint of mischievousness, she proudly declared, "How was it? I know you can feel the Nightmare Realm’s influence within the Nightmare Domain! How are you going to reward me?"

"Rewards?" Jacob dismissively looked at her and coldly said, "You should be glad that I’m not punishing you for your misconduct!"

Nyx was startled by Jacob’s words, and a hint of fright surfaced in the depths of her eyes before she quickly covered it with anger as she demanded, "What are you talking about now?"

Jacob scoffed, "Just because I’m not in the Virtual Star World, do you think I won’t find out about the debt that you’ve incurred through reckless gambling?"

Nyx’s angry expression instantly flattened as a hint of panic surfaced in her eyes, as she knew her fear had come true.

She fiercely cursed under her breath, "That traitorous Blacky dared to tattle on me! And here I thought he was a loyal subordinate of this lady!"

Jacob’s eyes shimmered coldly as he retorted, "Although I don’t care about what you do in Virtual Star World as long as you won’t draw attention to us, this time, I won’t overlook even the slightest mishap.

"I’ve spent too much time and resources on this Nightmare Plan, and it was all based on your guarantees. Now that I’ve delivered on my promise, I’m expecting the same from you.
