Chapter 2269 Verifying His Identity
Chapter 2269 Verifying His Identity
As Tian Yang and Ren Xia made their way to the Colossal Mammoth City, they encountered several magical beasts that only existed within Giant's Continent. Not only were they as massive as giants, but they also possessed overwhelming strength that far exceeded their cultivation level.
For instance, a magical beast at the first level of Divine Emperor displayed combat prowess comparable to a Divine Ancestor, which was an entire realm higher.
Moreover, magical beasts were naturally stronger than cultivators of the same realm, and when compared to humans, the gap became even more immense.
"Good heavens, I have never seen beasts this massive before." Ren Xia remarked after slaying a giant bird that was nearly 300 meters long.
"You think they also absorbed some of Kulas' blood?" she looked at Tian Yang and asked.
"I cannot fathom why Kulas would feed his blood to these beasts," he said while shaking his head.
Ren Xia thought for a moment before speaking.
"I've heard the Giant Race possesses immense strength—far beyond that of humans. Even an ordinary giant who has never trained could give a seasoned body refiner a difficult fight. Perhaps the beasts on this continent were too weak before, so Kulas strengthened them."
"That's…actually very logical." Tian Yang agreed with her reasoning.
"However, can his blood even do something like this?" he then questioned. "Isn't that what the Great Mammoth Body Refinement technique does? It turns him into a giant?" Ren Xia asked.
"No, it doesn't automatically make them big, but it allows the person who learned it the ability to transform their size at will. I also learned the Great Mammoth Body Refinement, you know? While I am nowhere near Kulas' level, I am able to make myself bigger if I want to."
"What?! This is the first time I am hearing about this!" Ren Xia exclaimed, her eyes shimmering with excitement. "If you can adjust your body size at will, does that mean you can also adjust the size of your…'that'?" Ren Xia asked, her gaze lowering to the sword between his legs. "What kind of question is that?" Tian Yang frowned, looking slightly offended.
Ren Xia chuckled, "Ah, I'm not trying to say that I am not satisfied with your current size—if that's what you're worried about. I am just curious."
Tian Yang sighed, "How the hell am I supposed to know? I never tried."
He lowered his head to look at his manhood and silently tried using the Great Mammoth Body Refinement on it.
"Did it work?" Ren Xia asked with a slight smile.
"Who knows?" Without answering her, Tian Yang continued flying to the Colossal Mammoth City.
"Wait! You can't leave me hanging like this!" Ren Xia cried out loud as she chased after him.
Over the next several days, Ren Xia continued to pester Tian Yang for an answer. However, he ignored her. Eventually, they reached their destination.
"So this is the Colossal Mammoth City. It's even larger than I imagined, and I was being quite generous with my guesses," Ren Xia remarked as they hovered before the magnificent city.
Although the city was far larger and more extravagant than the others, what truly set it apart was the majestic castle dominating half its area. The structure was so immense that not even a row of a dozen towering mountains could cover its length from end to end.
"I guess we should head straight for the castle," Tian Yang said.
However, right as they got close to the castle, several giants appeared before them, blocking their path.
"Humans are not allowed beyond this point," said one of them.
"My name is Tian Yang, and I am here to meet Giant Emperor Kulas."
"Tian Yang? Are you sure?" "Yes, I am sure."
"..."
After a moment of silence, one of them spoke, "Follow us."
Tian Yang and Ren Xia followed these giants, but they were not led into the castle. Instead, they were brought to a building outside the castle.
"Where is this?"
"The interrogation room. Someone will be here shortly to verify your identity."
"Is that so?"
Tian Yang and Ren Xia sat calmly in the same chair, which was massive enough to seat several people with ease.
Some time later, a beautiful woman with golden hair and emerald eyes stepped into the building. Though her aura unmistakably belonged to a giant, her body was no larger than that of an ordinary human.
Taking a seat across from them, she asked, "Are you the one who claims to be Tian Yang?"
"Indeed."
"Then I'll be asking you several questions now. If you fail even a single one, you'll be executed for daring to trick us," she said.
Without giving them a chance to respond, the woman began asking her questions, "How did you first meet the Giant Emperor?"
Tian Yang calmly responded, "I was on the verge of death when he showed up and saved me with some medicine."
The woman immediately wrote down his answer on a large piece of paper.
"What were the treasures the Giant Emperor gave you within the Han Zexian's Tomb?"
Tian Yang raised an eyebrow and said, "That happened several hundred years ago, so give me a moment to think."
He closed his eyes and recalled all of the treasures he'd received from Kulas, who acquired them from the trials he completed.
"How many exchanges did the Giant Emperor have with a certain individual surnamed Gu?"
"The hell? How am I supposed to know that when I was busy dealing with the other guy? I doubt even Kulas himself knows the answer."
The woman didn't say anything and only wrote down his answer.
"When was the last time you met the Giant Emperor?" she then asked.
"At the Immortal Confinement Dungeon. I am still waiting for a thank you from him, by the way."
Several more questions later, the woman stood up and said, "I am done here. I'll return once I verify your identity."
Without elaborating, she left the building.
