Cultivating Disciples to Breakthrough

Chapter 2192: Leaving the Fragmented Continent

Chapter 2192: Leaving the Fragmented Continent

Unaware of the terror he had ended up inflicting the Void God Realm cultivator within Desolate River City with, Xuan Hao had only released his divine sense to grasp his surroundings after just barely making it out of the vast river. Discovering this Void God Realm cultivator was not within his expectations and without the slightest bit of hesitation, before the chaotic spatial forces still clinging to him had the time to disperse, he utilized his Illusory Light Steps to run away.

Not planning to face off against someone at the Void God Realm in his current state. Especially so considering he had a general grasp over how strong someone at the Void God Realm was thanks to the broken golem he had seized and the giant skeleton he had snuck past.

Luckily for him, the Void God Realm cultivator in question had been rendered immobile in the face of his divine sense. Allowing him to easily leave without the other party even getting the chance to jump out to stop him.

Of course, he didn’t know why this powerful figure remained frozen on the spot and just guessed the other party believed he might just be another Void God Realm cultivator passing through. Showing no intention of engaging him out of the hope that he could monopolize the treasures within the ancient city center for himself. Not really something he cared that much about now that he had already decided to leave the fragmented continent and return to the sect and consolidate his gains from his longer than expected journey through the tower.

"He left...? Just like that?" And as Xuan Hao disappeared completely from view, the old Void God Realm cultivator couldn’t help voicing out his thoughts as he stared off in the direction Xuan Hao had left in. Although he had felt the clear indifference from the other party, it was only when he had completely vanished from sight that he became certain the other party truly didn’t have any interest in the ancient city center of Desolate River City.

Complicated as this short encounter made him feel, he quickly threw it to the back of his mind and focused back onto the ancient city center before him. This time with far more dedication compared to before, as he wanted to seize whatever opportunity was hidden inside that place and hopefully use it to elevate his own cultivation further.

Even more so now that he had been so painfully reminded that he was only someone at the very bottom of the Void God Realm and someone who had ultimately only just barely managed to break through to the realm through a complete coincidence...

And as the old Void God Realm cultivator poured everything he had into unveiling the secrets hidden away in the depths of the ancient city center, Xuan Hao flew through the dark sky of the fragmented continent. Avoiding different spatial anomalies along the way as any cultivator or demon beast that spotted him did their best to hide away. His terrifying speed alone also made it difficult for any cultivator or demon beast below the Void Integration Realm to even notice him passing by before it was too late.

In the end, he had a relatively peaceful journey back to the entrance of the twenty ninth floor. Enouncing no real dangers along the way beside a single spatial storm he was forced to move around. Allowing him to return to the ground floor of the tower through the teleportation formation located next to the entrance leading back down to the twenty eighth floor of the tower.

"Hey, did you hear, Elder Song is holding another tournament. This time one for the newer alchemy disciples who recently joined the Alchemy Hall."

"Really!? Looks like I will have to inform Mengmeng about it, she has been locked up back at our place studying alchemy manuals and recipes for the past two months."

"Huh... As expected of her, studious as ever."

"Haaa... Indeed..."

Emerging from the teleportation formation just in time to catch the chatter of two disciples passing by, causing him to freeze for brief second before he quickly readjusted to the familiar surroundings that were completely different from the different deadly environments, he had spent his time moving through over the past few months.

For the foreseeable future, he had no intention of returning to the tower and continuing to try and press forward to try and reach the thirtieth floor. Exhaustion was one reason, but another was the simple fact that he had no way of completing the task required to advance to the next floor of the tower with his current strength. Even breaking through to the Star Creation Realm might not be enough given the fact he would likely have to face someone at the Void God Realm.

Even if someone at the Void God Realm couldn’t be considered comparable to someone at the Venerable Realm, they were still far stronger than someone at the Star Creation Realm from what he could tell and should exist somewhere between the two realms.

Maybe it was possible for him to deal with someone like that in the Star Creation Realm, but he doubted he would be capable of doing so just after breaking through to the realm- and that breakthrough was still some time off in the first place. For now, he just had to worry about consolidating his gains from the fragmented continent and breaking through to the Peak of the Land Creation Realm before setting his sights on the Star Creation Realm.

With this goal in mind, he didn’t linger around the ground floor of the tower for long. Only checking the shop to see if anything of interest had emerged following him clearing a few new floors before leaving after finding nothing of interest within the shop’s new products for sale.

The clone he had left back at his home to teach Li Chi and Lu Dongli, his two newest disciples, had worked as intended when it came to teaching the two. Guiding Lu Dongli onto the path of cultivation. Helping her consolidate her cultivation and breakthrough to the Foundation Establishment Realm while his main body had been inside the tower. Having now established the third foundational pillar within her dantian. Standing at what was generally considered the Peak of the Early Stage of the Foundation Establishment Realm. In the process of preparing to establish a fourth pillar and successfully step into the Middle Stage of the Realm.

Li Chi on the other hand hadn’t made the same drastic leap in strength during his relatively short time inside the tower and had just gone from the Eighth Stage of the Core Formation Realm to the Ninth Stage of the Core Formation Realm. Having started his preparations for taking on the cloud tribulation and breaking through to the Nascent Soul Realm, a step that could to some extent be considered the first official step of a cultivator in their attempt to go against the heavens. Facing their first ever heavenly tribulation.

Already knowing about the state of these two disciples from the clone he had used part of his soul to create, he didn’t go out of his way to greet the two of them and instead headed directly into his cultivation chambers to consolidate his comprehension on the Dao of Space and elevate his comprehension of it from the Perfection Realm to the Origin Realm.

The reason behind this wasn’t just because he couldn’t wait to take another step forward and reach the Peak of the Land Creation Realm, but also because he had never really left in the eyes of his disciples, with the clone having essentially acted in his place while he had been gone. Not just for Li Chi and Lu Dongli, but also his other disciples who had shown up from time to time for help.

Amongst them, the most frequent being Mui, who had started working on taking the next step forward in her cultivation.

The reason why he didn’t specify her choosing to work on reaching the Dao Domain Lord Realm or the Soul Ascension Realm having to do with the fact that the assistance she had requested from him made little to no sense to him and made it difficult for him to comprehend just what kind of breakthrough she was preparing for.

But... At the very least she wasn’t creating something that would flood the sect again, so he was more than happy to help solve her doubts and point her in the correct direction whenever she came asking for guidance.

In the end, as his consciousness began dwelling into the Dao of Space, his only real worry while he drifted away into the depths of the Dao of Space was this little disciple of his causing another chaotic situation in his absence.

Still, with Feng Chen in control of the chaotic qi formation guarding the sect, he did feel confident that any trouble she stirred within the sect could be handled by Feng Chen without needing him to lend a hand...
