Chapter 1958 Struggle of the Blue Sea Empire

Chapter 1958  Struggle of the Blue Sea Empire

Faced with the sudden addition of two more demonic cultivators comparable to the Land Creation Realm in strength, the first reaction from the Blue Sea Empire's old ancestor was not to rush over to ensure nothing happened, but instead surprise, as he had never expected the demonic cultivators of the Frozen Wastelands to be capable of dispatching so many demonic cultivators with that level of strength. Especially considering that none of the three that had been dispatched so far were known demonic cultivators.

In other words, the demonic cultivators that had shown up were either ancient demonic cultivators who had remained hidden in a sealed state within the Frozen Wastelands without making a move over the long years or recently cultivated demonic cultivators who had somehow managed to grow up without anyone knowing.

Both were possible, but which of the two it was didn't matter, as the important thing was that the demonic cultivators turned out to be a far greater threat than originally anticipated, something that even gave the old ancestor of the Wei Empire a pause, as he understood full well that he would end up being the one targeted by these demonic cultivators after the Blue Sea Empire fell.

Suddenly, everyone who had been starting to hit the Blue Sea Empire while it was down began to regret their actions, as they now realized that the demonic cultivators would very likely end up becoming their problem after the Blue Sea Empire fell.

Originally, no one had thought something like that would be possible, but with the strength shown from the Frozen Wastelands so far, it became clear to everyone that the demonic cultivators would have a very real chance to potentially wipe out the Blue Sea Empire.

So, with a renewed understanding of the demonic cultivators from the Frozen Wastelands strength, the different major powers who had begun to quietly take over parts of the Blue Sea Empire began rapidly retreating from the territory they had conquered en mass just a short time ago.

Leaving only the Wei Empire behind, who soon enough began a similar retreat from the territory of the Blue Sea Empire before they rapidly began to prepare themselves against a potential attack from the demonic cultivators. Giving the old ancestor from the Blue Sea Empire the space he needed to start helping deal with the demonic cultivators invading his empire.

Unfortunately, even with his assistance, the Blue Sea Empire was still being pushed back by the demonic cultivators. Not because the three Demon King Realm demonic cultivators were stronger than the ancestor of the Blue Sea Empire, but instead because the two teammates of the old ancestor were far from comparable to the demonic cultivators they were fighting against.

One of them just there because he was paid and obviously didn't dare to be too reckless or risk his life, while the other had just recently broken through to the Land Creation Realm and didn't have the time to get used to his new strength before he had been thrown to the frontlines to fend off one of the two powerful Demon King Realm demonic cultivators.

Overall, the Blue Sea Empire found itself being pushed back even with the ancestor at the Middle Stage of the Land Creation Realm present, something that everyone watching the battle from afar witnessed, as the might that the demonic cultivators had been keeping hidden so far was on full display for everyone to see.

The sole reason why the demonic cultivators decided to push forward like this, even knowing that it would cause everyone who had been sneakily attacking the Blue Sea Empire to retreat was simple, they feared potential involvement from the Star Shattering Sect- or more so, the Demon King of the Frozen Wastelands had once been traumatized by an ancient hidden sect in the past and had no plans of repeating this past by falling out with another hidden sect.

Even if it resulted in some of the strength that the Frozen Wasteland had managed to keep hidden so far being revealed, he didn't care much about it as long as he could avoid a potential conflict with a hidden ancient sect like the Star Shattering Sect, as in his eyes, it was far easier to deal with the potential combined might of the entire Northern Central Region than a single hidden ancient sect.

Not to mention, it was far from simple for the major powers across the entire Northern Central Region to unite against a single enemy and he honestly didn't believe it was going to happen with the current strength that had been revealed by the Frozen Wastelands.

Three demonic cultivators comparable to the Land Creation Realm might sound impressive in the Northern Central Region but putting it into context of a place like the Southern Central Region, it wasn't that impressive of a force.

Still, the emergence of these three powerful demonic cultivators at the same time did end up resulting in the Blue Sea Empire being able to focus all its attention on this external threat without having to worry about anyone attacking them from behind. After all, if someone decided to attack the Blue Sea Empire from behind at this point, the old ancestor wouldn't hesitate to directly drag the new Land Creation Realm cultivator from his empire back with him and completely seal off the core of the Blue Sea Empire. Essentially giving up everything beyond a small area around the capital city itself.

Damaging as this would be to the Blue Sea Empire, it was the only way to preserve the empire in the face of that kind of attack when already faced with three demonic cultivators powerful enough to stand against someone in the Land Creation Realm.

Keeping their foundation intact meant that they would always have a chance to rise again in the future and reestablish themselves within the Northern Central Region. Main difference being that they would at least have two people in the Land Creation Realm compared to just one.
