Cultivating Disciples to Breakthrough

Chapter 1955 Secret Realms

Chapter 1955  Secret Realms

Ending up at what could be considered the center of the storm sweeping through the Blue Sea Empire in the form of the two old ancestors from the Wei and Blue Sea Empire, the neutral territory between these two major powers that had managed to remain unaffected by the struggles of the Blue Sea Empire so far finally ended up getting dragged into the conflict.

Of course, with the strength of the neutral territories, there was no way they had any real impact on the battle taking place, them being dragged into the conflict more so had to do with the fact that they now also found themselves suffering from the battle that was playing out.

The only somewhat positive outcome from the deadly situation that these neutral factions that had managed to avoid danger so far, was the fact that there was a large number of powerful cultivators from across the Northern Central Region rushing into the neutral territory they had once dominated… And though this did end up forcing them to severely restrict their own movements, the large number of powerful cultivators all showing up with the express purpose of observing the terrifying battle that was playing out did help ensure the safety of the region to some extent.

If anything, the Star Shattering Sect was the one who ended up losing the most due to the battle between the two old ancestors, as there was essentially no way for the smaller neutral factions to continue trade with the Star Shattering Sect in this kind of situation. Even if Elder Song wanted to personally send out a group of elders to ensure the trade continued, he understood that entering the neutral territory between the two major powers while they were in the middle of fighting was a bad idea.

The sheer number of Celestial Immortal Realm cultivators currently present in the region easily exceeded a dozen and there might be some among those who wanted to drag the Star Shattering Sect into the conflict, either to probe the true strength of the sect or just to make the situation more chaotic than it already was.

After all, though most of the people present were undoubtedly from the Northern Central Region, it wouldn't be that odd for there to also be someone from the Western Central Region or maybe even a hidden demonic cultivator from the Frozen Wastelands.

No matter what it was, Elder Song didn't end up sending anyone over to keep up the trade with the different neutral factions, something that would undoubtedly end up affecting the sect in another year or so, as the secret realms obtained through the ascension realm tower still needed time to be properly set up and grown to the point where they would be able to nurture the different cultivation resources that was required by the sect on a daily basis.

But even with this, Elder Song wasn't too worried about the situation, as he already had a brief conversation with Xuan Hao about the situation and was informed by him that he would take care of the situation after he finished his secluded cultivation in another half year. This half year being what Xuan Hao expected to need before breaking through to the Land Creation Realm, after which he would be more than strong enough to directly interfere in the current chaotic situation.

Even if he might just be at the Early Stage of the Land Creation Realm after breaking through, his foundation should make him far stronger than someone at the Middle Stage of the Land Creation Realm. Not to mention, he would also awaken his divine physique in the process of breaking through to the Land Creation Realm, thus allowing his strength to take another leap forward after reaching the Land Creation Realm.

In the end, he fully expected his strength to reach a level somewhere between the Middel Stage to the Late Stage of the Land Creation Realm after breaking through, with his comprehension of the Dao of Space placing him in a position where he would always be able to retreat in case he needed to.

For this reason, Xuan Hao had felt confident enough that he should be able to solve the situation regarding the neutral factions after he broke through to the Land Creation Realm. Allowing Elder Song to focus his attention on the different secret realms that had ended up under the control of the Star Shattering Sect.

For these secret realms, they could mainly be distributed into four different realms depending on their size and the number of cultivation resources that they were capable of producing.

The first and lowest quality secret realm being a secret domain, a kind of secret realm that was generally made by a rich Domain Lords or Soul Ascension Realm Cultivators. Not something that could be considered useful to the current Star Shattering Sect and essentially only used as a special residence for some of the sect's elders who wanted to establish a small realm of their own, though most avoided creating or using them, as the density of spiritual qi inside these small secret domain wasn't linked to that of the Shattered Star Peaks.

Next up was what was generally thought as a secret realm and therefore also just referred to as a secret realm without any kind of special title attached like the first. Created by someone in the Dao Seed Realm also known as the Earth Immortal Realm. It was only at this level that a secret realm could be considered a true secret realm.

At the same time, it was only at this level that a secret realm became useful to the Star Shattering Sect in term of the resources that could be nurtured inside of it, as a secret domain didn't really have the ability to produce anything useful to the Star Shattering Sect unless the secret domain was slowly nurtured or left to grow on its own over thousands of years, something that Elder Song, who was in charge of these kind of matters didn't plan to wait around for.

Finally, above the level of a normal secret realm was what had been referred to inside the ascension realm tower as a Minor Realm, a secret realm that had been created by someone in the Profound Immortal Realm or the Celestial Immortal Realm.

Overall, a Minor Realm varied widely in size and quality but could generally be considered a level above a normal secret realm.

Although the sect still didn't know much about this level of secret realm, it was clear from what little had been learnt that this kind of secret realm would almost certainly serve as the main retreat or core of some smaller powers in the ancient past.

The reason why they didn't serve the same purpose for the major powers across the continent today was rather simple, their construction was far too complex and seemed to involve mysterious that had been lost to time.

Even if the Star Shattering Sect could now get their hands on these kinds of Minor Realms through the ascension realm tower, there was essentially no way for the sect to create them on their own, as even Xuan Hao had been rendered helpless when he had first tried to examine the inner structure of one of the Minor Realms.

Though their creation should have been possible by someone in the Profound Immortal Realm, it was also clear that they were far too complex to construct without some kind of manual to help guide the creation process.

Without any kind of external assistance, the creation of a Minor Realm would likely require someone at the Star Creation Realm or potentially even the Venerable Realm beyond that.

As for what laid beyond the Minor Realm… That would of course be a Major Realm, but unfortunately, though the existence of this kind of secret realm should be possible, it was so far beyond anything that could be imagined by Xuan Hao himself that he guessed a secret realm of that size should have been reserved for the Venerable Relam or potentially even beyond that.

After all, when a secret realm reached that kind of size, it would be no different from a small independent world of its own and its creation would undoubtedly require mastery of countless different Daos and a simply ungodly quantity of resources that he doubted any power on the Ewaria Continent would be able to gather.

Maybe even putting all the major powers on the continent together wouldn't be enough to even scratch the surface of the required resources for that kind of massive project.

The only existences that he theorized had the ability to construct something like that would be the ancient powers that had once ruled the world in the past… And even for powers like that, the construction of such a major secret realm would be difficult beyond belief. Difficult enough that it might not have been worth it when a mystic realm could serve the same purpose without a similar level of investment required…

Error at end, fixed it.
