Yang Ruibin squirmed under the intense gaze, but he forced himself to maintain a composed smile.

How could he fail to see that the fire was an act of arson?

Silence fell instantly.
In the silence, they could all hear the sound of countless, frantic footsteps.

As the music box’s melody faded, so too did the sound of the zombies’ footsteps.

"Does anyone know how to pilot a boat?" Captain Lu asked, his gaze sweeping over the men.

"I’ll give it a try," Chen Xing volunteered, seeing no other option.

The island wasn’t very large. At the foot of a great mountain were about a hundred scattered homes.
Once ashore, they headed straight for the mountain.
The Military Brigade Commander’s orders were to find an individual codenamed "nightingale" at a base on this island. This person was in possession of an important document, and the team’s only task was to retrieve it.
