Chapter 111: Chapter 108: Qiu Min

"My pet can do its part, too!" Chen Xing said humbly.

Meng Hu’s combat power was off the charts.

Ran Gaoyang wiped the sweat from his forehead.

’It’s the apocalypse. Nothing is surprising anymore.’

After a brief delay, the group set out.

Along the way, they picked up more scraps of paper, all written by Qiu Min.

Soon, the convoy was in sight again.

A residential community appeared up ahead.

The community was built in a hilly, rural area. It wasn’t large, consisting of eight six-story buildings.

The community was enclosed by a wall taller than a man, and its entrance was a heavy iron gate.

Over time, everyone had learned what kind of environment was best for survival. When building their homes, they did their utmost to make them as defensible as possible.

The key was to block zombies and other such threats, as well as to fend off other mutated species.

Since it was in the mountains, they also had to guard against wild animals.

"Shit!" When Brother Leopard, the man in charge, heard it was just a wild animal, he instantly relaxed. "What’s there to be afraid of a tiger for? It can’t get in anyway!"

’I thought a whole mob was breaking in. Got all worked up for nothing!’

’Even if you gave the tiger a chance, it couldn’t get through the gate.’

Hearing Brother Leopard’s words, the men on the roof relaxed a little and lowered their guns.

With the threat on the roof eliminated, the rest of the group charged toward the community.

Ran Gaoyang and the others had no choice but to stop as well, dropping their weapons.

The group had been on the verge of victory, but with Qiu Min taken hostage, the tables were instantly turned.
