Chaos Devourer System: My Classless Ascension

Chapter 431 - 429:Space Pirates.

Chapter 431: Chapter 429:Space Pirates.

Within the leading spacecraft.

"Commander, we’ve found something, it seems to be a... human?" The operator called out, but it was pointless as the commander had already snapped his eyes open the moment Dante had appeared within space.

His face hardened the moment he laid eyes on the man with a little child on his head.

"Do not make any moves." His hard voice echoed through the control room.

"But sir..."

"If you wish to live, shut the fuck up and just do as I say." His voice held a note of absolute finality that brooked no room for argument.

The operator fell quiet. Their commander was a hard man to rattle, but if he was this worried by the being that had just appeared, then they might be missing something here.

And so, the entirety of the control fell into a dead silence as none among the operators made a move, but the silence didn’t last long, as soon enough...

"You can come out, keeping me waiting is also a very disrespectful gesture." A calm and amused voice echoed through the entire room as every soul froze, their faces paling as they felt a horrible presence fall upon them for the briefest moment before disappearing.

The leading man, Maximoff Daurous’s face hardened even further as he gave the order, "Everyone, we’re going to greet the gentleman outside. Be on your best behavior." He turned, walking toward the exit as the others stood, following suit, while the rest remained to keep the ships active and ready for anything that might happen.

...

...

I focused on the spacecraft-looking machine at the very front of the fleet.

I had already levied out an invitation, whether they accepted it or not would determine which category I was going to place them in moving forward.

"Big brother!" Lucien’s tiny voice called out. I had covered the little guy with my aura, I wasn’t taking any chances on whether he could breathe in space or not.

"Yes? Little man, what’s wrong?"

"What are those? They look big and dangerous and cool. Super cool. Big brother, can Lucien get one?" The excitement in his voice was impossible to miss.

"Well, I believe those are spaceships. As for whether you can get one or not, we’ll just have to ask our guests to know." My words had barely left my lips when the lead ship whirled to life, a beam of light shooting down as multiple beings appeared within.

Adorned in what would’ve been considered futuristic-looking armor from my life as Kyle, they had blue skin and blue hair, with minimal differences among them. Their eyes were all almost blue.

The man at the head was perhaps the most unique one. His hair wasn’t blue, but a deep, darker shade of purple. Long and silky. With a powerful build and a poise that showed clearly that he was someone accustomed to power and command.

They approached us steadily, their armors equipped with propulsion systems.

"I greet this gentleman from another world." The lead man greeted the moment he got close to us.

I looked at this group properly. Their everything-blue was trying to spark memories, like I’d encountered someone or something similar, yet my mind couldn’t be bothered to remember, so, "I guess I could say the same." I tossed the thought aside and greeted him back.

"So, mind me asking what it is you’re doing outside the orbit of my world?" I asked, uninterested in any long talks.

I needed to know why they were here, and depending on their answers, the conversation might go very differently.

"Fufufu... seems you’re finally encountering something new," Shaia chirped.

"Measly Thraxans, a bottom-feeding race that believes themselves something important because they serve under those pompous Calderans that think they’re the cosmos’s chosen lineage due to their bloodlines, humph!" Sana scoffed.

"Calderans? Thraxans?"

"Calderans, Husband, are the wielders of the bloodline the Draken bloodline originated from, the Omni-beast suppression bloodline. As for Thraxans, I believe Sana is referring to the people before you," Terra cleared up.

"Huh. Neat, I guess."

What? I should be losing my mind over the fact that I’m encountering people with ties to the original wielders of the Draken bloodline? Why? I already had plans of going after them. What? You thought I’d let it be after ending that bastard that dared touch Mel? Oh, fuck no. His entire family was definitely going to pay. Was that extreme, many would say yes. Did I give a fuck? Absolutely not, afterall, If I’m going to explore the universe properly, a good genocide is always in order.

So it didn’t matter if I was meeting people acquainted with them now or not. It would’ve been different if I encountered those with the traces of the Lifetree bloodline but, I’ll deal with things one at a time.

"We do not come with ill intent." The voice of the lead man finally pulled me from my thoughts as he answered, "We had sensed an anomaly around this general region during our travels and had decided to come check it out. We apologize if we’ve caused you some inconvenience by overstepping our bounds." He actually lowered his head in apology.

Honestly, I was expecting my first space encounter to be one of a cliché, after all, a new Chapter, and the author might be feeling lucky. But seeing the demeanor of the man before me, a favorable impression was already sprouting, at the very least, I was sure I didn’t want to erase him from existence right this instant, so that’s a win.

"Hmmm? An anomaly? What anomaly?" I asked, intrigued.

"I had felt the spatial displacement of a celestial body within the region, so we decided to check it out. But upon arriving, there was nothing, so I had my men keep looking, after all, space is vast and the location might not be exactly here. It was during those scans that you appeared."

"They must be talking about when you moved Terra to your soul space. The disruption in the flow of the solar system would definitely have been felt by the right people," Shaia explained.

"I see. Who would’ve thought, huh?"

"Alright then, I understand." I nodded toward the man, yet before I could say any more words...

"Yo! You self-absorbed bastard! Why are you keeping us waiting?" The annoying voice of Malachi sounded from beside me as the monkey appeared in a flash of gold beside me.

"Hmmm? Ohhh! Is this what that scary woman was talking about? Damn! Blue-skinned people!!" The monkey immediately went off the moment he laid eyes on the group.

"Heh! Bumpkin."

"Motherfucker!!! What did you call me?" He raged.

"Oi! You two idiots. What are you guys doing?" Khalifa appeared outside the tower, arms akimbo. I didn’t need to wonder how she was breathing and moving in space, as I could feel a very familiar aura around her, and sure enough—

"Dante. What’s going on?" Aunt V’s voice reached my ears as I smiled, looking at the woman whose black eyes had locked onto the group like those of a hawk the moment she appeared.

One by one, the others followed suit, everyone exiting the tower to "greet" our guests.

"Well then, since everyone is here, I’d like to introduce you guys to our first encounter with life outside Terra. Who’s excited!?" I gave a mock cheer as the girls just leveled me unimpressed looks.

"You’re not as funny as you think, bastard. All you’ve got is looks," Malachi sneered.

"At least I’m good-looking and not a banana brain that’s going to die single."

"You fucking..." I ignored the monkey, turning my attention back to the blue-skinned aliens that had approached.

"Well then, Mr..."

"Maximoff, Commander Maximoff Daurous of Aetheris Prime."

"Yeah, I’ll just call you Max. So, Max, you don’t need to worry about whatever happened here. I just took the planet with me, is all—nothing strange there. So you can go now."

...

...

The opposite group fell silent, their incredulous gazes looking at me like I’d gone crazy.

"I’m sorry if I’m being a bother, but I don’t think I heard you clearly, because it sounded like you just said you took a planet?"

"Yup! That’s right. And she calls me Husband now for some weird reason." I shrugged.

"This... sir, are you serious?"

"Do I have a need to lie to non-names like you? No, stop bothering me and leave. You’re obstructing my space adventure."

I waved him away as I got ready to return to the tower with the others and finally begin this space adventure properly.

"Kekekekekekeke!!!" At least, that was the plan until a sinister laughter echoed all around us. "Is that the oh-so-great Commander Maximoff being told off by someone and not getting ticked off? I’ve seen it all now. Marvelous." The high-pitched and annoying voice mocked.

"Now who the fuck could it be this time?"

"APEP-LAXIS!" The man called Maximoff muttered grimly.

"Apep... Ape... Oi! What the fuck is that?" I gave up bothering to even pronounce that shit as I just asked instead.

"They’re a space pirate alliance. I think we might be in trouble."

I wasn’t even given a chance to react before—

"Pirates? Did I just hear pirates?" Paku’s excited voice sounded out.

"Not just pirates, furball, but SPACE pirates." Malachi joined in.

"Ahahahahahahahahahahaha!!! Does that mean this young lady gets to finally stretch her limbs? And here I thought there wasn’t going to be anything exciting in the beginning." Khalifa laughed as she summoned her massive sword.

The group slowly got ready as they prepared to face off against whatever space pirates had made themselves known.

"Ahh... I guess a little workout wouldn’t hurt, would it?"

Alright then, space pirates, entertain me.
