Volume 10. Chapter 163: We Actually Disagree With Celia! (Chapter 1064)

Chapter 163: We Actually Disagree With Celia!

Guanyu: “Celia, is this not too early to do?” She asked with a raised eyebrow, arms crossed.

Celia: “How exactly is it early?” She replied with a head tilt.

Guanyu: “Xinolily cannot yet be trusted.” She stated with a stern tone.

All of us were willing to accept Xinolily into the family; but her getting so powerful this quickly… has us very uneasy. Prior to this, Xinolily threatened Celia (inwardly) several times, so whose to say that she doesn’t still harbor such feelings or worse, intentions?

Of course, our wife has definitely seduced the girl into being her loving daughter, but power can corrupt anyone. Ah, right… I forgot to mention what the disagreement that we’re having actually is…

Celia wants to power Level our new daughter up ASAP, while we asked her to not do so; unsure of if Lily can truly be trusted. Zia and Ria aren’t Vampires, and Celia’s last encounter with one was… pretty intense. Right now, Xinolily was anxiously sitting on Celia’s lap, Magic blocking her hearing, so she wouldn’t be upset.

Celia: “I’ve given power to people who were far newer to our group before. Why is this any different?” She asked with a half thinking pose, other hand patting her daughter’s head, hoping to calm Lily down.

Xinolily: “…” “Are they fighting? Everyone looks so calm, so it’s hard to tell…” She said in her mind, quite worried.

Guanyu: “While that is true, none of them ever became the strongest of us, the core family always being on top. Xinolily is an Ancient True Vampire, a race that isn’t in any archive; not Heaven’s, Home’s, no information pertaining to her at all.” She explained, stern, but still relaxed, as the Vampire girl wasn’t dangerous right at this very moment.

Nia: “Not to mention, but Xinolily hungrily, mindlessly lunged at you, Celia; claiming your blood without consent.” She added with a sigh, tapping the coffee table in frustration.

Celia: “I let her do that. What kind of mother would I be… if I willingly depraved my child of food? And, as long as Xinolily has a steady supply of blood… such a thing won’t happen again.” She replied in defense, finding nothing wrong with her actions.

Guinevere: “Can you truly be certain of that, Celia? Her Status doesn’t say how often that Xinolily needs to consume blood. While weak, this isn’t a problem. Unfortunately, if she makes it to the next Evolution, or even just a decent ways into this current one, Lily will be close to Guanyu in power; then able to force blood from any of us if she gets into that frenzied state once more.” She expressed with a serious tone, saying what we were trying to nicely tell Celia this whole time.

Celia: “…”

It didn’t land, not even just a little bit! The woman is looking at us like we’re crazy… Celia… this is what we feared; her unwillingness to ever think ill of her loved ones. What exactly can we…

Thud!

Runeth: “Celia, save me!!!” She exclaimed, seemingly running for dear life.

Celia: “( ? _ ? )”

Everyone else: “…”
