Shui: “Wait… please wait!” She exclaimed, raising her hands up.

The young Cultivator was at a loss for words; and I don’t blame her. Young is the key word here, you see. Far too young (even when considering Shui being ageless), to carry out such an effective attack against Guanyu.

On top of that… she isn’t normal. What do I mean by normal? Shui has no outside exposure, no way to watch through Guanyu’s eyes. And yet… Shui acts nothing like an ancient Chinese Cultivator; her speech sounding far too modern. I have seen this pattern before, and so have you, I’d bet…
