Before long, a cultivator arrived holding a giant tablet two meters high. In the middle of the tablet was a flat portion where someone could punch it. On the top of the tablet was a blank space. Supporting the giant tablet was a base that was five meters wide.

The elder looked at Zhao Hai and said, “Go and try hitting the middle with your full powered punch.”

Zhao Hai complied and walked towards the stone tablet. He looked at the tablet curiously and then went into a stance. He placed one foot back and prepared his punch. Then with a shout, he punched the tablet.

As Zhao Hai’s fist hit the stone tablet, a dust storm was immediately formed. The tablet was reduced into rubble as it flew out.

Seeing this, Zhao Hai couldn’t help but stare. Then he looked around in confusion. This was a testing tablet of the Forbidden Path Sect. How could it shatter with one punch?

The Elders present looked at Zhao Hai as though he was a monster. After a while, one of the Elders shouted, “Someone get the strength tablet used by inner disciples!” A disciple immediately complied and ran away.

After that disciple left, one of the Elders looked at Zhao Hai and said, “What you destroyed is a tool we use to test Handyman Disciples and Outer Disciples. The tablet can only handle a maximum of 200 thousand jin of force. It seems like your strength is higher than that. Very good.”

Zhao Hai cupped his fist towards the elder before heading to the side. Before long, another disciple came in carrying another giant tablet. This tablet doesn’t look any different than the one before. At least externally it didn’t look different.

The elder waved his hand at Zhao Hai. Zhao Hai nodded and proceeded to prepare his stance in front of the tablet once more. Then he withdrew his fist and released a punch.

The other elders nodded. The elder who asked Zhao Hai to take the test earlier waved his hand and said, “Alright, stop staring around here. If you find any good seedlings, leave some for me. I’ll send him back to the sect.” The other elders nodded. They seem to have lost interest in the assessment. The previous elder looked at Zhao Hai and said, “Follow me.” Zhao Hai complied and walked behind the elder. After Zhao Hai positioned himself inside, the elder activated the formation and the two disappeared with a white light.

When Zhao Hai felt the white light subside, he looked around and discovered that he was in another courtyard. Outside the courtyard was a huge mountain.

At this time, the elder beside Zhao Hai said, “This is the Forbidden Path Sect’s Main Hall. The Elder nodded and led Zhao Hai out of the courtyard. Zhao Hai glanced around when he was outside. The courtyard was built on a hill. The hill wasn’t high and there were several hills around. There was also a mountain range in the distance seemingly like a natural barrier surrounding the hills. 

When the two left the courtyard, they proceeded toward a mountain. Once in a while, they would meet cultivators on the road. Whenever they see the Elder, they would all give a salute.

There are only a few cultivators in the Teleportation Stage. Most of them were Earth Monarchs. However, Zhao Hai didn’t dare underestimate them. All of their skins have metallic lusters and they exuded extremely rich blood qi. One could see at a glance that they were capable of explosive strength.

As Zhao Hai followed the elder up the mountain, the Elder said, “We’re at the periphery of the Forbidden Path Sect’s main hall. Before your test, you have to live here first. I will inform the Sect Master about you and arrange for your test soon. As long as you pass the test, you can become an inner or even core disciple of the sect. Stay here for now.”

Zhao Hai nodded. Then the Elder led Zhao Hai to a small hill nearby with a fairly large courtyard. From time to time, one could see disciples walking out of it. After saying that, Elder Guo led Zhao Hai into the courtyard and then found  a room for him to stay in. He took out a jade token and handed it to Zhao Hai, “This will be your temporary identity token. You can use it to walk around. There is also a cafeteria where you can eat. Others need to pay but you don’t need to if you use this token. Alright, you can rest early or look around. Naturally, you can’t go to restricted areas.”

Zhao Hai complied, “Thank you very much, Elder Guo.”

Elder Guo waved his hand as he turned around and left. Zhao Hai looked around at the cultivators who were also looking at him. They couldn’t help but be curious about Zhao Hai. Zhao Hai didn’t enter the two courtyards. He only held a temporary identity token. Although the courtyards have no guards, he would be in trouble if he was caught snooping around. Instead, Zhao Hai walked down the hill.
