Chapter 4060 - Beloved Fish Concubine
Chapter 4060 - Beloved Fish Concubine
The Sun was currently fortuna class, but it remained hidden within the Upper Star Ruin. Only its denizens knew how truly vast it was. Gradually, it was approaching the mass of the largest imperial-class worlds in terms of size. The ten-billion-plus flameyellow descendants of the Sun still mostly lived in the Sky Palace Formation, since they didn't know when Tianming would increase the world's size again. They weren't in a rush to build their homes, after all.
Everyone on the Sun had a strong belief that the world they had made their home would one day be restored to its peak form. That faith served as the basis of their belief in Tianming, making him even stronger. Every time he returned to the Upper Star Ruin, his subjects could clearly feel his presence as if he was by their side.
There's three times the number of omnisentient threads compared to before! Some of them came from Blackscatter, and others came from other starforges.... Tianming sat under the dragon eye of the Ninedragon Imperial Tomb, which was parked within the Sky Palace Formation, watching the world outside and feeling the power that the omnisentient threads brought him.
I've only killed a few thousand devas, but that was enough for the flameyellow descendants in Blackscatter to place their hopes in me. They must’ve been oppressed enough over many generations to be so desperate! It was a heavy, yet unfortunate truth. If it weren’t for their despair, why would they jump on the first ray of light that came their way? Fortunately, the hardest part of forming the threads is over. Once word spreads, my growth will be exponential.
Not a single person in the Eightpart Pantheons knew that a Galactic Emperor was being born right under their noses. Tianming's connection to every single one of his believers allowed him to inform them of what they should keep to themselves. Naturally, they wouldn't disobey his order and would silently grow alongside him until the time was right! Tianming had never been in a better condition than he was now.
As long as I keep killing the enemy in the lower ruins, my strength in the Upper Star Ruin will keep growing. It was a crude, but effective method.
"The Sun...." Tianming fell into deep thought as he looked outside. He recalled that the Sun had only been a heliacal-class world when he’d first arrived there. There were the Myriad Solar Sects as well as the orderians, and he had only just started forming omnisentient threads during that time. But now, he had become the Galactic Emperor that ruled over the fortuna-class Sun, rising nonstop through his adventures through Orderia, Ebonia, Myriadpath Valley, and the Upper Star Ruin.
"You've been with me since the days I first arrived on the Sun...." Tianming turned back and pulled Moran into his embrace.
"Yes...." She leaned lightly against his chest, ink-green hair spreading across his body. Her slender and beautiful figure fit nicely against him.
"And now we've returned to the place where we first met." He gently stroked her hair and smiled.
"What do you want to say?" She looked up to meet his gaze.
"I suddenly recalled how you looked when you were infected by the red dust. I had to lock you in the ship because you were going wild.... It truly is unforgettable."
"Did you bring me here only to tell me how men are creatures that only think with their lower body? Is that why you keep reminiscing about the same thing?" Moran mischievously humphed.
"Yes. Are you capable of making sure that image stays in my mind all the time?" Tianming asked.
"That depends on you," she said, looking away and blushing. "If you want to, I'll let you."
"Of course I want to."
"I’ll be any fish you want me to be."
"Wow, you're suddenly so nice to me." Once more, he felt moved by how she always did everything for him without hesitation or regret.
"I only worry that you won't even give me that chance...."
"How could I resist devouring a fine fish like you?"
Moran hugged him and looked up again, seemingly annoyed. "But I also hate you a lot."
"Why?"
"I've always been waiting for you. Initially, you were with Ling'er alone, so I didn't want to step in. But then I saw one girl after another cut in line to get ahead of me. Wasn't I the one who treated you the best? After I was cured of the red dust, I didn't dare to face you at all. I always thought you didn't like me, so I kept my distance...." She blushed as she spoke about Jiguang and Yao. She’d had to endure that, only for Zi Zhen to once more cut in front of her, which intensified her sorrows.
"That was my fault." It was only now that Tianming was made aware of how badly he had neglected her feelings. His notions of respecting her had actually ended up hurting her.
"What I want isn't just to get intimate with you. All I want from you is to hear an answer from you—any answer, a definitive one. Sometimes I feel like you're really distant. I'm nowhere as confident as you think I am. My sisters are also really confused, and their thoughts affect mine, too. It makes me feel unnecessary, like an extra. I know that getting between you and Ling'er isn’t right, but I can't help how I feel."
Once she had started, she let out all her feelings. "You gave me my life. You’re my reason for living. I...." She couldn't continue any longer and looked at Tianming tearfully.
He hugged her even tighter and said, "Well, apart from Ling'er, you're the one who's been with me the longest. In terms of affection, you're in the top two."
Moran helplessly groaned, "Just saying that makes you sound like a naughty crook."
"There's more naughtiness where that came from.... Don't tell me you didn't know why I brought you back here."
"I... I know...." She nodded in a panic.
"Since we've talked it through, I won't dally any longer or I'm not a man!" He stood with his hands domineeringly on his waist. "Beloved Fish Concubine, We wish to behold your sensual dance!"
"You're utterly degenerate...." She stopped sniffling and smiled.
"Nonsense! I knew you’ve been secretly practicing that dance, so you aren’t convincing anyone." He gave her a push and she split into fifty identical little fish, putting on the performance of a lifetime.
"Now this is the life...." Tianming felt like the red dust had returned. Moran let herself go and conveyed her loneliness to him in her dance. Once he entered the water with her, the time for indulgence finally began.
