Chapter 4058 - A Sword Honed for Two Years
Chapter 4058 - A Sword Honed for Two Years
Somewhere in the lower ruins, the members of the Eightpart Pantheons couldn't stand it anymore and had resolved to wipe out the three rats, permanently ridding the lower ruins of their greatest nightmare. As long as Tianming was alive, he would forever remain a mocking stain on their legacy!
Even as people cursed him nonstop, his reputation also spread far and wide across the Upper Star Ruin.
"Ran Qing, a few people are making moves," said a voice when a flaming pillar suddenly appeared. The blue vortex also appeared nearby.
"Who?" Ran Qing asked, shrouded in white mist.
"A few ashuras and members of the Sundown and Starfall Pantheons," said the blue vortex.
"Alright. We'll wait a bit longer for them." The imperial lady didn't want to take action with so many people in tow, but she had no choice as the wonderians were insistent.
But before they could even settle in for the wait, her expression turned sour.
"What's going on?" the flaming pillar asked.
"The parasite ghoul died! How can that be?!" Ran Qing furrowed her brows in puzzlement. Passion ghouls were unique hell ghouls that could barely be detected. It was incredibly hard to kill them.
"Dead? Does that mean you've lost your lock on their location?"
"Yes!" Ran Qing's rage surged. A few other nearby elites fell silent with frustration.
"The Heavenly Dao Arena should be able to give us more information."
"Not really. There's too much flameyellow void essence here, and it keeps interfering."
"Then what do we do? Do we keep waiting?"
"That kid will no doubt emerge to cause trouble again after some time! It's disgusting!"
It wasn't just those on the scene. Many people across the Upper Star Ruin were frustrated beyond belief.
"Next time, they must die!"
"Let's see what kinds of traps we can set for them!"
The huffing and puffing never stopped.

The mood in the deepest room in the ark started off rough, but gradually faded into a sweet gentleness. After venting all his panic, Tianming gradually took the lead more and more. Even though Zi Zhen was the reincarnation of an ancient crone, she didn't have any real experience in that department. Despite having the raw strength of a specter, she was led by the nose by Tianming's technique. Flashes of purple accompanied by faint, breathy moans filled his mind.
Tianming's cosmic god body glowed black and gold like a divine dragon, braving the treacherous expedition into the purple vortex nonstop. The two universes clashed, their starlight blending together and giving rise to a perfect world.
He had once been unable to imagine coupling with a higher lifeform like that. He had thought that it would feel completely different from how humans felt, but when he actually got to it, the familiar sensations returned to him.
Cosmic gods were still vigorous. Their sensations and passions even seemed more magnified, resulting in interactions that felt like universes clashing together, causing endless sparks to fly and resonances that reverberated across their bodies. It was hard to even imagine the sensations.
There was one little quirk about Zi Zhen, however. Whenever she lost herself in the stream of consciousness and sensation, she would subconsciously transform. It was a wild experience.
Tianming had been shocked by it at first, but eventually grew used to it. Either way, it was his first time doing the deed after reaching cosmic godhood—nay, since becoming the stronger Galactic Emperor. He found that the deed felt much more sacred than before, as if destiny was playing an important role in a solemn ritual.
Zi Zhen's confused behavior, however, made her seem like a helpless little animal stumbling around nonstop. The more she lost herself, the more awake Tianming felt.
What the.... Is this the new horizon that the legacy of the Primordial God-Emperor opened up for me? My imperial order actually improved from that and is growing..... He was rather flabbergasted. Before, karmic merit and omnisentient will were the way to improve his imperial order; he didn't think the act of leaving a legacy would also have the same effect.
He was literally grinding out progress.
And no matter how lost Zi Zhen was, her body was definitely perfect for the task; she could endure quite a lot, too. It was perfect for his continued improvement.
No wonder the Primordial God-Emperor had so many chaos swordmaidens. Did he use them to keep his sword polished? He was walking a similar path to the Primordial God-Emperor, but had a limited amount of love to offer. There was no way he would be able to establish as many relationships as the Primordial God-Emperor apparently had. Since Yaoyao and Jiguang, Zi Zhen was the only one who had gotten him to make a move on her. Perhaps it was due to how long it had been, but Tianming forgot himself and spent two and a half years on the grind.
Eventually, a stream of astral nebulae flowed into the purple abyss. Their relationship reached its zenith at that moment. Tianming was completely powerless and couldn't even sleep. He immediately fell asleep, hugging her tight and finally feeling safe and secure again after so long.

After some time, Tianming woke up and noticed that the beauty with purple hair sat before him. Her long hair draped over her legs as she turned her purple eyes on him. She had been staring for quite a while. "I forbid you from leaving me," she softly said, her head low.
"I won't." Tianming smiled. "From now on, let's stop holding anything back from each other. We'll open our hearts and minds to each other and walk the same path. We'll change and adapt together and protect each other for as long as we walk this path." Now that he had crossed the line, he’d finally fulfilled the implicit expectations of their relationship.
"From now on, you're officially inducted into Our harem," Tianming said, pinching her on the cheek.
"Didn't it start two and a half years ago?" she said, biting her lip.
"Ah, my bad. You're right." Tianming awkwardly scratched his head. He hadn't prepared for this situation at all and didn't know how she truly felt. Now, he finally understood that this wasn't something that could be dragged on. The longer it took, the more risk of heartbreak and incidents. Since they were in love with each other, they should offer each other commitments earlier to make sure that they were of the same mind. That way, neither of them would be left with questions as to where they stood.
"I really didn't expect that this could help my imperial order grow...." He turned and looked at Zi Zhen. "It might have to do with your amazing constitution."
"There’s no way that's the case," she said, glaring at him.
"I should be able to break through soon." He rose and stretched, relishing every snap that came from his movement. "As expected, slacking off too much will cause me to rot away." After releasing all that had been pent up, he felt as light as a cloud and could soar even higher now.
Zi Zhen speechlessly watched him, recalling when he had been terrified to the point of crying out for his mother, and chuckled, "You're so shallow...."
