Chapter 3999 - Cat Abuse

The sigil of the jianu ghoul king appeared on the gray coffin in Tianming's lifebound space. "It looks like some kind of sealing talisman that keeps a record of every ghoul that's been consumed...."

He hurriedly claimed the spatial rings of the devas and fed their ghouls to Eighth. The little gray coffin in the lifebound space burped out some fumes in excitement. Ostensibly, it was really happy with today's harvest. All of them were ghouls from the fifth level of hell or deeper!

"Eh?" Tianming noticed that the lid on the gray coffin seemed somewhat contorted. There was a new crack, out of which flowed some gray smoke. "That must mean I'm making progress!" The later the Primordial Chaos Beasts hatched, the more odd and convoluted they were. Sixth's vita had taught Tianming what true trouble was like, so he wondered what kind of troublesome nature Eighth would have. "Looks like I have to keep hunting devas."

It hadn’t taken too long to deal with Princess You You. He quickly entered the cave and had Yin Chen seal the entrance before helping Moran and Zi Zhen wipe out the rest of the devas. It was a one-sided massacre. The ten-plus devas that remained didn't last long and perished. Tianming was able to claim all their spoils, the most precious of which was the Darkrot Galaxy, Yu Qing's cosmic relic, which he gave to Zi Zhen. Even specters could use weapons, after all. The gigantic blade looked comical contrasted against her petite girlish form.

"Everyone," Tianming said as he approached the little beastballs, who had witnessed him and the others wipe out the devas. They were the ones who had come to their rescue, and they already had an impression of Tianming from before. "I have the Ancestral Void Ark. Some of your friends are there, too. This location’s been exposed, so a lot of people will be coming to capture you. Do you want to risk it and come with me? You can meet up with your friends!"

"Peep! Peep!" They seemed to understand what Tianming told them. What he didn't expect was how excited and interested they seemed as they huddled around him.

"Alright, I'll bring out a net for you guys so we can save some time." With the little beastballs cooperating, things became much easier. With Yin Chen keeping watch, Tianming bagged up all the little beastballs, who excitedly chirped and plastered their large eyes to the net so that they could see everything. It almost seemed like they were being taken on a field trip. Their chirping made Ying Huo feel like it had gotten a bunch of illegitimate children out of nowhere.

"Let's go!" The rescue was much smoother sailing than he thought. "It's thanks to you two."

Moran and Zi Zhen merely smiled through the cloaking purple smoke without another word.

"The mask was especially helpful, Zi Zhen."

"Now that's more like it," she said with a proud humph.

Tianming smiled. He moved even faster and had Meow Meow carry all of them before the reinforcements could reach Miracle Mountain's entrance from the peak.

"Aaaaah! Meow!" Meow Meow had become a few hundred meters long. If it turned into the Regal Chaosfiend, it would reach a full kilometer in length. However, being mounted by giants was more strenuous than it looked. "Save me! This is abuse of a minor cat!" It was an unbearable sight.

"Minor your ass! You're the oldest after me!" Ying Huo laughed, its wings at its hips. Despite the complaints, Meow Meow dutifully performed, leaving Miracle Mountain at breakneck speed and soon reaching the Ancestral Void Ark.

Since Yin Chen’s breakthrough, it was able to keep an eye on most of the lower ruins, especially the area near Miracle Mountain, which was why Tianming felt safe enough to make some risky moves. Thus, the journey back went off without a hitch and Tianming brought the little beastballs into the ark. When the two groups reunited, they cheered as if they were long-lost friends who were finally reunited.

Tianming also felt rather happy at the sight of their joy. It's too bad I don't have a way to bring them to the Sun yet. With the function of the little beastballs exposed, Miracle Mountain's entrance would no doubt be watched even closer. It wouldn't be easy to bring out so many of them again.

"Let's go." The Ancestral Void Ark risked discovery when it was so close to Miracle Mountain, especially with a large number of people making their way to the entrance. Tianming immediately piloted the ark away with Yin Chen's guidance.

"Oh no...." Even though the ark was safe, Yin Chen reported that a few thousand cosmic gods had sealed off the entrance to Miracle Mountain. More and more people were flooding inside.

"The losses in the lower ruins are growing larger and larger! Something big’s going to go down at this rate."

"We still hold a huge edge over the Primordial Sands, but there's nothing we can do against the flameyellow remnants there!"

"I heard they’ve reached out to the imperial-class worlds. Maybe we'll get imperial-class geniuses to come, but who knows when that’ll be?"

The consensus after some discussions was that peak elites from imperial lineages would soon be deployed for two reasons: the super cosmic relic and the countless little beastballs. Those treasures were tempting enough to get the elites to make a move.

"Over ten... thousand people... are blocking... the entrance," Yin Chen said in a bored tone. It was all thanks to the discovery of the little beastballs. Everyone was still discussing the deaths of You You and Yu Qing. By that point, most of them had heard of the three masked flameyellow remnants.

"Rushing in there now is nothing short of suicidal...." Tianming furrowed his brows.

"There’s something we can do," Bai Ye said out of nowhere.

"What?"

Bai Ye looked at Bai Ling. "Let us become cosmic gods!"
