Chapter 3997 - Boy and Girl, Invincible

Zi Zhen had turned from a cute girl into the most savage of fiends, packed with protective scales, sharp claws, and massive fangs. The purple mask naturally worked on her, since it used to belong to her. One could only barely make out that she was a specter without any other distinguishing features.

"The Ancestral World has specters as well?" The devas that charged toward her seemed surprised.

"Maybe!"

As they were still deliberating, two powerful divine wonders manifested and completely sealed the cave. All five devas were within their area of effect.

"A wondermancer?!" Yu Qing furrowed his brows even tighter; the natives' cultivation techniques were much more complicated than he had imagined. He had thought that the flameyellow remnants would only comprise beastmasters and totemancers at most.

Thanks to the masks, they don't even know Little Fish's identity! It was a surprising bonus for Tianming. Wondermancers weren't necessarily wonderians, and if they couldn't even make that connection, they wouldn't think about Tian Jiu. All three of them still needed to grow their power by quite a lot before they could properly take on the entire Eightpart Pantheons.

"Hurry up or we'll finish dealing with our foes while you're still occupied by those minor goons," Moran taunted.

"Hehe...." Zi Zhen bared her teeth, anger opening another one of the ninehall eyes. Even though she was a fourth-level cosmic god, she stood six hundred meters tall, taller than the other two. In an instant, she violently slammed into the devas, lashing out with her claws and tearing off three of their arms.

Her hundred-meter-long spiked tail pierced through the chest of another deva, and with a slap of her hand she crushed the deva's three heads! It was a simple, but brutal attack. The next instant, she pulled both hands apart, ripping out the entrails of the deva and creating something of a waterworks show out of blood and meat chunks. The deva howled in pain before turning into its essence form, which she stomped on so hard that it was flattened into a disc.

"Ugh!" The deva died without being able to fight back in the least. The ghoul he’d just summoned had already been sealed inside the flat cosmic god essence before it could even fight.

"How fierce!" Tianming could tell that Zi Zhen had to vent after staying in the Ancient Oldgod Domain for so long. The devas were the perfect target for her frustration.

"Watch out!" The three remaining devas immediately tried surrounding her, but Zi Zhen punched each of them once before flattening them, defeating them before Tianming's fight had even begun. She landed back near him and Moran and began to encircle Yu Qing with them. Putting aside Yu Qing, even Tianming and Moran were stunned by the display of absolute carnage.

"What’re you looking at? Make a move," Zi Zhen said, glaring at Yu Qing before zipping toward him. A three-on-five had become a three-on-one in but a few moments. Even though Zi Zhen's level was lower than Moran's, if she was angry enough she was definitely much more of a threat.

Tianming and Moran exchanged glances before flanking Yu Qing. Moran turned the celestial duty forbidden ocean wonder into a sea of purple to encompass the battlefield, sealing Yu Qing in it. Then the three lifetimes celestial cycle wonder came down like a spiral galaxy, drowning the entire cavern in purple smoke and starlight. She brandished her Trilife Affection, a sword in each hand, before appearing behind Zi Zhen. She had grown stronger far too fast so she was still not adept at blending the many different moves in her arsenal. So Tianming only needed her to apply pressure with her divine wonders; the Trilife Affection was only for her own protection.

Tianming flashed with purple lightning and appeared behind Yu Qing. While the Grand-Orient Sword was still weaker than the Trilife Affection, it wasn’t a pushover when coupled with Bai Ling's soul power and his totems.

"Trilife Affection?" Yu Qing deeply furrowed his brows. The death of Shiming Shengshi had greatly shaken them, and he didn't fail to note the appearance of the swords.

"Hurry up! I've run into huge trouble!" he yelled to his allies through the transmission stone as he turned to Tianming and Zi Zhen, filled with killing intent. He turned into his three-headed six-armed form as he called for help. Monochrome smoke wafted around him as his powerful muscles let out a hum of astral resonance. The sixfold hell-ring near his chest began spinning, opening the gates of hell and letting out a terrifying and ghastly aura. Two deafening roars sounded out from within.

Tianming watched as two ghouls emerged from it, one black and one white. The black ghoul had the head of a bull, while the white one had the head of a horse, and despite the herbivorous animal heads, their sharp teeth suggested that they ate nothing but meat. Their eyes were fierce and faces rotted like corpses. They were called the fiendbull ghoul and godhorse ghoul, respectively. It was rather rare for devas to have two ghouls, and such instances were called gemini ghouls.

As the ghouls emerged, Yu Qing brought out a pitch-black blade of considerable size that looked like a sharp fang. The black vortex-like glow that came from it was a sure sign of its destructive power. Tianming had read from the files that it was a cosmic relic called the Darkrot Galaxy, one of the most precious treasures in the Ninefold Hellstar. This sixth-level cosmic god deva was far from easy to deal with!

This location’s already been exposed. We have to quickly take them down and transfer the little beastballs away. Tianming and the other two launched the fiercest assault they could. The celestial duty forbidden ocean wonder turned into nine astral vortices that held Yu Qing’s body down as the gigantic galactic disc pressed down on his face!

With a loud bang, Yu Qing blocked the disc with his Darkrot Galaxy and felt a sense of familiarity. He seemed to have fought against something like it in ranking battles before! The next instant, Zi Zhen was upon him. Her sharp strands of hair wildly shot out toward him before she clenched both fists and attacked.

Yu Qing's gemini ghouls immediately blended together into a monochrome gate that slammed against Zi Zhen. The clash of the two specters caused quite a loud explosion as Zi Zhen's hair tangled with the monochrome gate formed by the ghouls, appearing like two vortices blending into each other.

"That's fierce...." Yu Qing was quite surprised by the intensity of the attacks. Moran's wonders were enough to hold back his cosmic relic, while Zi Zhen completely occupied his two ghouls. He had thought that he would easily be able to push back against those two girls, but he was the one being held back instead, making Tianming a threatening presence.

As he expected, just as he turned around, he saw a raging slash of purple coming from behind that contained a power that was far out of his imagination. The purple sword ki in the slash formed a cage that rapidly spun like a meat grinder! Tianming had used the second move in the cosmic art that the flameyellow voidkin had given him. It wasn't that powerful when used by him alone, but Bai Ling's soul power wasn't something that could easily be fended off. Not to mention, Ying Huo and the others had softened the target up with their abilities beforehand!

"Curses!" Yu Qing blocked with his four free arms, but the barrage of flame, lightning, plants, and mountains battered them bloody. Then, Tianming's sword landed on his head, slicing through all the way to his chest before getting stuck.

However, that was enough for Bai Ling's terra sword ki to infest Yu Qing's astral brain.

"Ugh!" The pain caused his cosmic relic and ghouls to falter, giving Zi Zhen and Moran the chance to intensify their attacks even more.

"Stop!" Princess You You came out from within and had witnessed the cruel sight, yet she was completely ignored. All she could do was watch as her elder brother was turned into a cosmic god essence before her very eyes.
