Chapter 3982 - Undying Aeternal Race
Chapter 3982 - Undying Aeternal Race
The Order College of God Domain Nine was the main college and the birthplace of the entire Ancient Oldgod Domain. It wouldn’t be wrong to call it the capital of the Ancient Oldgod Domain, where most of the orderlies’ cosmic gods resided.
At that moment, the formation glowed as three figures appeared. In the center stood a white-haired youth in a black-and-gold robe. To his left was a tall, ethereal woman with ink-green hair, and to his right was a girl cloaked in a purple mist.
One woman was a fourth-level cosmic god, while the other was a third level, but in a real fight, if Zi Zhen was enraged, she would definitely be stronger. That said, it’d already been proven earlier that, though they didn’t get along, they had exceptional synergy in battle.
“So this is the main college....” Upon their arrival, Tianming immediately looked around with caution.
“No one’s here either.” Zi Zhen and Moran swept the area with cosmic sense and confirmed it.
“Not only is it empty, it looks like even the items were cleared out. That means the orderlies left of their own accord, not because they were forced out,” Ying Huo remarked.
Tianming quietly waited as Yin Chen spread out through the surroundings. “I’ve got a feeling it’s still in God Domain Nine. It won’t give up this territory,” he said.
Moran and Zi Zhen both agreed.
Tianming looked up at the sky. Since God Domain Nine was located at the center of the Sea of Order, it looked like a floating glass sphere in an ocean. The Sea of Order was vast, incomprehensibly so. In comparison, God Domain Nine was a mere droplet in the sea.
“Bai Ling, you said before that it seemed to have a communication channel to something in the Sea of Order?” Tianming asked.
“It said that itself. Back then it asked me to join forces with it, but I refused,” Bai Ling coolly replied.
“Why didn’t you agree?” Tianming raised a brow.
“Because it wanted to be in charge. I was born a proud lifebound beast. How could I bow to another?” Bai Ling sneered. “At least in symbiotic cultivation systems, beastmasters can still get scolded.”
Tianming helplessly chuckled. The two Sixths had all hung around him long enough to realize how good they had it. He looked around at the vast and mysterious Sea of Order, and asked, “Did it reveal what exactly exists in the Sea of Order?”
“I think it called them the undying aeternal race!”.
“Is the undying aeternal race similar to the orderly race?” Tianming asked. The orderlies were wholly soul bodies. Like the Celestial Sourcepath Progenitor, they had no flesh and only a soul.
“Not sure. Never seen them,” Bai Ling replied.
Tianming pondered it for a moment. “I wonder if this undying aeternal race is connected to Huang Qi, the Order Relic, or the order apians.”
“Either way, if they can live and reproduce in the Sea of Order, they must be unique lifeforms,” Zi Zhen said.
All they could do was stay on guard.
“By the way, the Ancient Oldgod Domain used to be remotely controlled by the wonderians. But under the control of the three little Sixths, the wonderian presence dwindled.” The wonderians in God Domain One had been wiped out. Later, Bai Ling had chased them away from God Domains Two through Four. Now, in God Domain Nine, there was still no sign of them.
But on the side of the Ten Desolate Starforges, the link between Saturatia-49 and the Ancient Oldgod Domain was still very tight!
Just as the trio was discussing the situation, Yin Chen, who had already left the Order College, urgently cut in, “Something’s happening!”
“What’s going on?” Tianming’s eyes turned serious.
“All the.. living things... of the.. Ancient Oldgod... Domain are... gathered together!” Yin Chen reported.
“Sixth’s vita gathered all its orderlies?” Tianming frowned.
“It’s waiting... for you!” Yin Chen confirmed.
“So it wants a final showdown, eh?” Tianming looked toward the east. He already knew where Sixth's vita was. “We’re here. I hope we didn’t keep you waiting too long.” He exchanged glances with Zi Zhen and Moran. The three of them prepared for battle and immediately set out.
I cultivate symbiotically with the Celestial Sourcepath Progenitor and have the Skysoul Tower, Bai Ye, and Bai Ling protecting me. I’m pretty well defended in terms of soul attacks. Little Fish can protect her brain with her wonders, and if Zi Zhen enters her berserk state, her soul has a natural resistance. So the three of us shouldn’t fear soul attacks.
Though Sixth's vita had 45 infant souls supplying it with soul energy, as well as cosmic gods on its side, the number of orderlies was limited. And without symbiotic cultivation, its innate foundation was weak. Even if it had surpassed the old Bai Ling in power, it shouldn’t be too outrageous.
So, while Tianming remained cautious, he felt no fear.
As they made their way out, they saw an extremely prosperous world with countless violet eyes of heaven illuminating the skies, making everything feel dreamlike. But the world, which should have been bustling, was eerily silent.
“It’s over there.” The trio flew east toward a zone covered in thick white mist. The strange mist could even block a cosmic god’s sight.
Soon, they dove straight into it.
“Hmm?” Tianming’s eyes suddenly widened as they encountered an enormous sphere.
It hovered below countless eyes of heaven, so massive that it seemed endless. When Tianming looked closer, he was shocked to realize that the gigantic glowing sphere was made entirely of people, compressed and fused together.
Most of them were orderlies, their bodies crammed into every area of the giant ball. Besides them, there were also Xenoabyss specters and wonderians.
Billions of lifeforms had been molded into one colossal ball of soul and flesh. They all shared one characteristic: their eyes were strangely blank and empty, as if they had lost themselves.
Tianming sucked in a cold breath.
“Sixth's vita gathered all living beings from five God Domains... into a single ball?” Ying Huo was dumbstruck.
“And they’re all still alive, meow...!” Meow Meow’s eyes bulged in disbelief. The three Sixths were playing more and more ridiculous games that the little cat’s pure soul couldn’t comprehend.
The trio stood before the monstrous orb, momentarily at a loss for words.
“I’ve been waiting for you for so long...” Suddenly, billions of mouths on the surface of the orb opened at once, producing a chorus of overlapping voices that blasted into Tianming’s mind. That single sentence carried an intense, soul-shaking force so strong that Moran had to immediately activate her wonders to shield her brain.
And she even had over a hundred different wonders. Though she was only a fourth-level cosmic god, when it came to wonders, her skill might even surpass Shiming Shengshi themselves.
