Beastmaster of the Ages

Chapter 3746 - Call for Reinforcements

Chapter 3746 - Call for Reinforcements

Xing Yue was flung out of the swirling gray mist, crashing into the corridor wall.

“Whew! That was satisfying!” Xing Baizhan laughed as he stepped out of the shadowy mist.

“Xing Baizhan, you’ll die a terrible death!” Xing Yue collapsed on the ground, her face as pale as a sheet as tears uncontrollably streamed down her face. Everyone could see the wounds covering her body and the deathly gray mist invading her internal organs, but no one knew exactly what had happened in that brief instant.

It was too fast. He had come and gone in an instant! Xing Yue hadn’t even had time to react before it was all over.

“Say another word and I’ll go at it a few more times!” Xing Baizhan coldly sneered.

“You!” Xing Yue completely broke down, scrambling to her feet in utter humiliation.

“Sister Xing Yue....” The other disciples of the Blazestar Cult were devastated after seeing her defeated. One by one, they rushed back to her side.

Their hearts were still pounding. Too many had already died. If Xing Baizhan decided to kill them all, none of them would have made it out alive. It would be a catastrophic loss for the Blazestar Cult.

“Brothers, let’s go!” Xing Baizhan suddenly laughed.

“Brother Zhan, aren’t we going to finish them off?” Some of the Wargod Cult disciples asked in confusion. They had just been getting into the spirit of the massacre.

“What’s the fun in killing them all? Letting them live, making them lower their heads and shrink back whenever they see us, that’s real satisfaction! Heh heh....” Xing Baizhan’s Joy head became the main head and grinned at Xing Yue. His expression was downright vile. “From now on, every time Xing Yue sees me, her legs will tremble. Won’t that feel great?”

The disciples of the Wargod Cult burst into laughter. Xing Baizhan’s antics were well known to them. This wasn’t the first time he had done something like this. Whenever he defeated a female opponent, they never escaped his infamous ’soul-searing’ torment. However, it was the first time it had happened to someone as high and mighty as Xing Yue, a genius from Starmoon Haven.

And to be honest... it felt amazing!

The Blazestar Cult disciples stared at Xing Baizhan’s twisted grin, recalling his infamous reputation. Their faces paled as they glanced at Xing Yue, whom they had always regarded as pure and untouchable.

“Ugh....” Their vision darkened and they almost coughed up blood.

Seeing the way they looked at her, Xing Yue felt an even deeper humiliation. Tears uncontrollably gushed out of her eyes, her heart drowning in despair.

“Let’s go!” Xing Baizhan swaggered away with his specters. He knew his limits. If he truly slaughtered them all, it would make things difficult for his father and uncles outside.

“Xing Baizhan!” Watching his retreating figure, Xing Yue’s face twisted in rage. But the events that had just unfolded felt like an inescapable nightmare. Seeing the pitying looks from her peers, she cried even harder.

It was a lifelong stain that would never be erased. She had been completely ruined!

“Father! Mother! Grandfather! If I am humiliated, then so are you! At this point, you have to come here. Once the trial’s over, you must deliver the harshest punishment upon these Wargod Cult bastards! Kill them all!” That was Xing Yue’s only remaining hope.

For a long time, the spectator’s area remained silent. The members of the three great cults all had dark expressions on their faces.

They’d helplessly watched as their disciples, under the influence of some incomprehensible force, had mercilessly slaughtered each other. And now, even a fourth-level overflower like Xing Yue had suffered a terrible fate!

“This is a huge problem!” Mo Fan leaned back against his throne, feeling a headache coming on. Nearly forty of his Blazestar Cult’s genius disciples had died. That was almost half of them! But that wasn’t even the most frustrating part. The real frustration was that Xing Yue had been utterly humiliated by Xing Baizhan in broad daylight.

“How am I supposed to explain this to her parents? Su You definitely won’t take responsibility. She’ll just go straight to Xing Yue’s parents and tell them everything!” Mo Fan’s heart was bleeding. And to make things even worse, Xing Baizhan was a specter, meaning there was no chance of forcing him into a union with her after the fact.

“Her family will definitely come!” Jiang Linxi coldly said. “Things are getting out of hand.”

“It’s all because of Li Tianming! He’s behind all of this!” Mo Fan’s eyes burned with hatred. He had never despised someone so much in his life.

“Fortunately, Xing Yue wasn’t defeated inside the cultivation chamber, so her points are still intact. According to the oath, we’re still the ultimate victors!” Jiang Linxi grit her teeth. She understood Mo Fan’s frustration. After all, she still needed to account for Luori Yumo’s death as well.

The two continued sighing, but their eyes burned with murderous intent as they glared at the white-haired youth, as well as the overflower slaves not far away.

“Just you wait....” Mo Fan clenched the armrests of his throne.

“At least things have temporarily settled down!” That was the only relief Jiang Linxi could find.

“Yes! Xing Baizhan got his revenge, and the power he displayed put Luori Guiyang and Xing Yue on edge. At the very least, Xing Yue probably won’t dare act rashly until she recovers!” Mo Fan said in a low voice.

“Xing Yue may look fine on the surface, but all her astrons have suffered significant damage. I estimate the injury will impact her talent going forward.” Jiang Linxi shook her head.

“Do you think she’ll be able to recover by the end of the trials?” Mo Fan asked.

“Highly doubtful.”

“In that case, she probably won’t even be able to comprehend the galaxy-class order anymore!” Mo Fan sighed in deep frustration. “This trip was a complete waste for her. She suffered for nothing!”

“At least she’s better off than Luori Yumo, who was outright killed by some inexplicable little ants! Sigh....”

More sighs.

“Just wait and see!”

“As long as we still have the points, the astralship will be ours. Those slaves, along with the three damned insects, are all going to die!” Jiang Linxi’s voice was chillingly sinister.

Elsewhere, Xing Daoyin, Xing Daoshan, and Xing Daohai—the three Wargod Cult elders—silently watched Xing Baizhan’s performance. It was a familiar sight, but not even they had expected the brat to be so audacious!

“Baizhan’s personality is truly... amusing. That organ of his must be having the time of its life! Even the proud daughters of Starmoon Haven can’t escape his grasp!” Xing Daoshan laughed.

“Even though we know everything’s happening because of those three damned insects... it’s still satisfying!” Xing Daohai coldly said. Their own children had been killed. Xing Tiancheng and Xing Baiwei hadn’t even been given a chance to explain before Luori Guiyang and Xing Yue had ruthlessly cut them down.

“If Xing Yue hadn’t been so arrogant and had just given Baiwei a chance to explain, would she have ended up like this?” Xing Daohai sneered. They hated Li Tianming, but they certainly didn’t feel any sympathy for the Blazestar or Scorchmoon Cults.

And especially not Starmoon Haven!

“Third Brother, report what happened here to Wargod Haven!” Xing Daoyin ordered.

Xing Daoshan and Xing Daohai looked at him. “You want to call for reinforcements?”

“Just in case!” Xing Daoyin replied.

“Alright!” Xing Daohai nodded, then disappeared into the darkness.
