When they saw the weapon’s golden light, many people in the monitoring room were envious.

Gold equipment was still rare even if a few years passed since the apocalypse started, and they were all the bosses of various factions.

He looked around, “Since all of you are biologists and scientists, you should know what will happen if there is a level difference between the main person and the battle beast.”

Retaliation was something evolved that raised battle beasts were afraid of.

Others stopped talking and looked back at the lifeform that was screeching at Xia Bai.

When Jiu Long raised his head, Xia Bai had disappeared.

A look of absolute seriousness appeared on Jiu Long’s face that had never appeared before.

Xia Bai opened her wings and held the black scythe, slashing across the area.

But he wasn’t happy. He sensed Xia Bai’s location but she was instantly beside him and launching that fatal strike.

If not for Jiu Bao and him being connected in mind, he would have been badly injured.

Jiu Long was confident in his own defense. He felt that Xia Bai’s black scythe could, at most, slice his scales open.

He stretched backward and rested on the earthworm’s body. Jiu Bao opened its mouth and swallowed Jiu Long.

This caused Xia Bai, who was about to attack, to stop. She looked at the earthworm and didn’t know why it did that.

The people watching the battle were also confused.

Jiu Bao’s body stretched and constricted, and one could clearly see Jiu Long’s tracks. After which, everyone watched as Jiu Long was spat out from the other side.

Xia Bai backed off.

Jiu Long raised his head and laughed arrogantly.
