Chapter 1103: Invitation.

Shi Lang and the entire human race gathered and they began to push the reforms in the society and along with it the surging strength. As years passed the number of sages also increased. Along with them grew the challengers who went inside the Dao Plain to challenge the ranking tower.

Sages weren’t allowed inside the Dao Plain, and even if they entered the place they could not make a move or the consciousness left behind by the Realm Lord would kill them. The exchange of information with the allied races, Jewel-Eyed race, Sun Archers were the strongest among this line up.

Sun Archers had never taken part in the battles but they were still sitting amidst the top ten thousand of the Myriad Races. The Jewel-Eyed race was among the top five thousand, and thanks to the information they had exchanged in return for some basic weapons was very helpful to the human race.

A century has passed and Shi Lang had stopped interacting with the secular world. His cultivation realm had climbed higher and at the same time it was getting slower. However, there was no alternative. The people who went through the Ranking Tower had all stopped at the twenty thousand name on the list. Above that stood the sages and people below the sage realm were basically no match to the sages.

This was why the Ranking Wars were so essential. It had been one hundred and fifty years since the Azure Dragon told him about the oncoming Rank Wars. Humans were not pitiful anymore. They had hundreds of sages.

Amelia, Shi Tao, Tian Long, Fairy Moon Jade, Prince Beiming, Tong Bai, and Commander Silence aka Archie Arkham. These were the pillars of the Asura Hall. However, Cao Ming, Shi Lang’s master and several others from the Martial Spirit Hall have reached the rank of a sage. All in all, the human race had at least two hundred sages.

However, unlike Shi Lang, they had all taken a longer time to consolidate their foundations and then ascending their realms. All the sages worked together to secure the future of humanity. Darcx and Jenkins have reached the Dao Tree Realm, they were now the face of the Asura Hall along with the rest of the crew.

Over the years, many people have ascended the gates, and Shi Lang found a lot of information from those people, they reported how the natives from the colonized places have also been cultivating and ascended. However, their process for ascension had been really hard, way more difficult then humans.

Another thing was how the Federal government and the military had tried to gain monopoly. Although the Ace Division had kept them under control but when things went out of control, and the strong people tried to come after the Ace Division and the special divisions, the Dao swords left behind by him massacred the involved and purged the streets with blood.

Shi Lang was sitting on the ground and Amelia was serving him tea. They both looked the same as they did back in the day. Shi Lang looked at Amelia and said, “Your physique seemed to have gotten better.”

Amelia smiled and replied, “Yes, two days ago, I managed to finish the integration of the five elements. Now, I can switch to display which element I want to use. None would be able to tell the difference. The Sage tribulation gave me a lot of insights in my cultivation.”

Shi Lang nodded as he said, “Well, I would suggest that you don’t exhibit the changes in your elemental command in the battles in the future.”

Amelia nodded and said, “I know, even when I have the balanced attributes, I need to maintain my cover unless it is a life and death situation.”

Shi Lang didn’t say something, and as he finished sipping the content of his cup and he looked up in the sky before he said, “I would appreciate if you come out now.”

This was the core region of the Asura Hall, someone who was able to infiltrate at this level, it was indeed startling. However, Shi Lang appeared very calm. Amelia watched the person materialize in the void. The figure wore a golden cloak and had a hood on to cover their face as well.

It appeared to be a human from the shape of the cloak, and slowly, the figure landed in the center of the garden. The gust produced by the landing caused the flowers to shiver and the dew condensed upon their petals was about to scatter, when Shi Lang snorted and the garden came to a stand still.

He looked at the figure and said, “The people from the Realm Palace surely don’t miss a chance to assert dominance.”

The person raised their head slowly, and Shi Lang said, “Why are you here?”

The person took off their hood, and revealed a beautiful face hidden under it. It was a woman, who looked like a sculpture carved from a block of marble, and her red lips stood out on her face. The lady said, “The Realm Lord is holding the banquet for the participants of the Ranking Tournament. You are invited as the strongest individual of this race.”

The lady waved her hand and a jade slip shot through the air. The force was so strong that it created multiple sonic booms. However, when it reached Shi Lang, the Terran held the Jade card between his two fingers and his hand moved just one inch in the void. Shi Lang said, “Thank you for the invite, you may leave.”

The lady glared at him and asked, “Do you know that I am an envoy from the Realm Palace? Do you understand the difference between our status?”

Shi Lang stood up and said, “Yes, I do, I am the strongest human in this realm, who is invited as a guest of the Realm Palace where the banquet will be hosted by His Excellency, The Realm Lord.

As for you, your status is that of a servant who attends to His Excellency. The reputation that you are showing off here is not yours, but it belongs to your master. So, I am guessing that many people are aware of your arrival here. If you try to act out of the way, I will take action against you, and believe me, when I do that, your head might not make it back to the Realm Palace while still connected with your neck.”

He blatantly threatened the maid of the Dao Palace, Shi Lang never had been known for holding back when it came to pissing on the parades of those who look down on the world. His words left the lady shocked, and then the Terran appeared right next to her but facing the opposite direction and the latter said, “Have you decided yet?”

This question scared the envoy, she knew that she couldn’t win against Shi Lang, the man had been fighting the entire strength of the Asura Hall these days to train his body. How could she not feel scared by this surprise. However, keeping her calm she said, “I will now go, see you at the banquet.”
