Ace Of Terrans

Chapter 1033 - 1033: Central Continent.

Shi Lang moved from the beach and was headed straight to the highest elevation point in the Western continent. The young man stood tall on the summit of the mountain and Raksha materialized next to him. She looked around and asked, “Why are we here?”

Shi Lang sat down on the ground and from his space ring he retrieved a keyboard like thing. He said, “The Central Continent cannot be accessed with normal means. That is the place where the Four Holy beasts reside, and I am guessing many other similar entities might be there. The Central Continent is like a backup drive for the data on this Immortal plain. It would need some special means for me to locate it and get there.”

Raksha looked at him and asked, “Why not ask Hou Bing?”

The Terran shook his head, and replied, “She would have come to see me after Queen Aluwa left, however, her absence is the testament to the fact that if I wish to attain those five treasures, I need to do it on my own. While she would not hinder me, she would not help me as well.”

Raksha frowned and asked, “What does that even mean, are you not her champion?”

Shi Lang nodded and replied, “I am the champion, and protecting the Dao was my responsibility, but that responsibility has been fulfilled, now, what I am trying to do is my personal quest, and for that, this indifference from her is the best thing she can do. After all, who among the four Holy Dao Beasts know me better than her?”

Raksha was surprised and then she nodded as she said, “Now what you said makes sense, can you tell me how do you intend to find the central continent?”

Shi Lang nodded and ran his hand over the keyboard and holographic screen appeared before him. The young man said, “I am going to calibrate the satellites to sense the existence of a place where the Dao Fluctuations don’t exist.”

Raksha was surprised by his method, and Shi Lang began to move his fingers, first he entered the mainframe of the Asura Hall, and entered his access codes to gain control.

On the eastern continent where the Asura Hall Headquarter was established, suddenly an operator stood up from her chair, and slammed the table as she yelled, “Who the hell dared to barge in the Mainframe?”

The entire control room was stunned and they all looked at the lady. She was the person in charge of this shift and if anything happened then it would fall on her shoulders. She quickly used her communicator and sent the highest-level alert to Shi Tao.

Shi Tao was practicing with Yu Xeidi when she received the alert and said, “Xiao Yu, I will be back in a bit.”

She vanished from her spot and appeared in the control room. She asked, “Aline, what is going on?”

Aline replied, “Young Miss, someone accessed the mainframe and the calibration of the satellites is being tweaked with.”

Shi Tao looked toward the big screen and after a few minutes she said, “It is my father, don’t worry. Good reaction though, keep it up.”

Shi Tao left the place as quickly as she had come. The people were surprised to hear that all was being done by the Hall Master. Archie Arkham, aka, Commander Silence walked inside the control room, and she asked, “What is going on?”

Aline told her the details of the incident and Commander Silence said, “Why are you so surprised? He is the hall master, so it is normal that he holds the supreme access to the mainframe, no?”

The people nodded and then Aline said, “I was just taken aback by the technical knowledge needed to calibrate the satellites displayed here.”

Commander Silence looked at their innocent faces and couldn’t help but chuckle. She said, “Even your Young Miss cannot catch the hands of your Hall Master when it comes to technical skills. You are unaware, but before he even started to take up his warrior courses in the lower realm, he had learned all these technical skills. He is a tech genius, don’t underestimate him ever.”

The people gulped, they already held Shi Lang in the highest regard, to a level where he was an invincible being in their eyes, and now they find out about his technical skills it was indeed another reason for them to feel his might and their own inferiority.

Shi Lang spent an entire day adjusting the calibration before he leaned back and said, “Now, let them scan.”

The satellites began to scan the surroundings at a higher power and after a few hours Shi Lang was able to triangulate the location of the central continent. What surprised him was that this place didn’t look any bigger than a large city in any of the other four continents.

He stood up from his spot, took out his small warrior plane, and hopped in to fly off. Raksha asked in his mind, “What is going on?”

Shi Lang replied, “I found the location but I am not sure about how it was being displayed in the map. It all looks a little too small to me. I cannot understand why.”

Raksha sighed and shook her head as she said, “You got to stop thinking about what is what and just get to the destination. Won’t you find out the answers when you reach there?”

Shi Lang controlled his aircraft and flew through the void, he didn’t intend to use his immortal means to fly in the place where the Dao Fluctuations didn’t exist.

He was sure that the closer he got to the central continent, the more trouble he might face. Since, the holy dao beasts intend to mask themselves, Shi Lang intended to do the same. The craft was not a spiritual object, it was just a simple fighter jet, and since it didn’t give off any spiritual wave, it would take them some time to detect it. As for his own aura, that was sealed off by the complete set of isolation runes inscribed inside the cockpit.

Hou Bing was sitting under a pavilion with a cup of tea in her hand as she rocked her chair. A young lady walked over to her and sat down on the second chair, and asked, “Sister, are you not intending to help them stop him?”

Hou Bing shook her head and replied, “I Cannot do this. He is my champion, and while he had upheld his end of bargain without even uttering a word of complaint, how can I give up the dignity of the Holy Dao Spirit Beast? This is a chance that I can afford to give him. You all on the other hand are a different story. So, go on, feel free to test him in all the ways that you wish to. If you wish to spar with him, just don’t cripple him or kill him, the rest is fine.”

The lady looked at Hou Bing and said, “You really don’t mind if he comes to hate you for letting us have our way with him?”

Hau Bing smiled and said, “You underestimate him a lot Xiao Bai. He will come to scold me, but nothing else. He understands my position in this issue, and he is wise enough to keep different things separate.”

The lady beside Hou Bing was none other than the manifestation of White Tiger. She stood up and said, “I will fight him fair and square then. Don’t blame me if a few of his bones are cracked.”

Hou Bing nodded and watched her sister leave. She shook her head and leaned back in the chair as she mumbled, “It would be good if you could hold on against him, Xiao Bai, you have no idea how deeply he hides his strength.”

The phoenix was actually looking forward to see how the battle between them would unfold. She was sure that Azure Dragon and the White Tiger would rely on frontal combat to deal with Shi Lang, but the only tricky element in this entire mix was the Black turtle, that man preferred to use his wisdom and tricks to get to people.

She sighed and said, “Lang, I hope you can get what you seek.”

Shi Lang reached the periphery of the zone marked by the satellite guidance, and tilted his plane to circle the area while looking for a place to land. However, when he banked, he found that there was nothing but ocean under the plane. He frowned, and checked the data once more, the location was correct, and then something clicked to him, and he pulled the stick to climb the sky.

The plane ascended above the clouds, and there it was, the floating island hidden above the thick clouds. Shi Lang sighed and said, “Fucking hell, they really know how to play tricks on the people.”

Raksha said, “Lang, that place is dangerous, it is giving me creeps.”

Shi Lang nodded and said, “I have goosebumps, as if someone is staring at me from the distance. However, you know what Raksha?”

The sword spirit asked, “What?”

Shi Lang opened the cockpit, jumped out of the plane and stored it back in his space ring and said, “I am sort of looking forward to fighting these people. What do you think? Won’t it be fun to give it our all?”

Raksha chuckled and said, “Battle Maniac. Let’s go, let us show them what we can do.”

Shi Lang chuckled and walked through the void, headed to the battlefield, the Central Continent.
