Chapter 1594 - 1594: Let Me Cook Dinner For Us
Archer watched as the two armies battled high in the sky, their bodies plummeting toward the ground, crashing into the dirt with a sickening thud. He began casting Mana Blasts into the enemy monsters, and explosions echoed out as the enemy creatures were hit many times.
The air shook thanks to the force of his magic. As the three girls witnessed the spectacle unfold, their eyes grew wide, captivated by the sheer power radiating from him as he wove spell after spell into the horde of enemies. His movements were hypnotic, mana crackled through the air, each projectile striking anything close.
The chaos battle gradually subsided, the once-overwhelming tide of enemies reduced to nothing by the onslaught of his magic. The Venomwings swooped down alongside the Nightmare Ants to finish off the enemy monsters. When the dust finally settled and the noise of battle turned into an eerie silence, he turned to face the girls.
Their expressions were adorable, eyes still wide as saucers, mouths agape, frozen in disbelief. The intensity of the moment lingered in the air, their gazes locked on him, as if trying to process the extraordinary display of power they had just witnessed. Archer smiled at them. ”Come on ladies, we need to find the Terravians to move on from this place,” he said.
Following that, the ant continued flying until a strange mountain appeared in the distance and when the swarm of Venomwings and Nightmare Ants flew toward it, they were disintegrated into nothing by unknown magic. His eyes glowed when sensing this and stopped the creature flying.
‘Terravian mixed with human magic,’ he thought, anger rising, realizing the Alliance was here helping them.
Just then, Mana Shells flew in their direction causing Archer to cast a shield in front of them, blocking all the projectiles that exploded on impact. When he saw this he scanned the mountain only to see bunker-like structures decorating the slopes. Without waiting, he began casting even stronger Mana Blasts.
The violet beams slammed into the ground, causing it to shake as the enemy was buried under landslides. When Freya saw this, she turned to him and spoke. ”I forgot how strong your magic is, you don’t use it much during our childhood.”
Archer nodded in agreement. ”I barely use it any more, my armies fight most of my battles or I use my fists when the fight involves me,” he revealed.
Following that, he summoned thousands of Chull Warriors and Dark Termites, ordering them to charge at the enemy fortress. When the monsters heard this, they rushed toward the mountain as more attacks landed but thanks to the overwhelming numbers of his army a dent was made only to be replaced by double.
Kela looked scared and grabbed his arm, Archer looked down as her before bopping her nose, reassuring her. ”Don’t worry my monsters won’t harm any of you. They’d die for you if anything.”
The trio looked visibly relieved just as another battle erupted but this time it was over in no time thanks to his army having overwhelming numbers. Archer sensed the last thing remaining was a bunker complex under the mountain. With that knowledge, he unleased thousands of Dark Termites to burrow under it.
After that, he turned to Freya and questioned. ”How long can you three stay with me? I know being gone from your time must cause some problems?”
When the white-haired girl heard this she giggled. ”Another day, but it doesn’t look like you need our help any more.”
Archer’s eyebrow rose. ”What’s that meant to mean?”
”We came here to see you and bring Kela to heal you from the Terravian’s God’s attacks,” Ravena answered, a bring smile on her face.
He looked at the redhead who continued. ”I came here to watch over them both, Frey’s stronger then me but having another to help is always better.”
”I couldn’t agree more,” Archer said, smiling. ”Well stay another day so I can get to know you three better, I know Freya’s saved me more then once already but we’ve never got to speak.”
When his eldest daughter heard this a confused expression appeared on her face until remembering something. ”Oh that’s the older me, ever since I could use Time Magic I’ve travelled throughout our lives and seen many things.”
‘I won’t ask even though I’m dying too,” Archer replied, chuckling. ”Just be careful when doing that stuff, it might go wrong one day.”
Freya nodded. ”I will, Papa. Don’t worry about me.”
Following that, the sun started to set and the flying Nightmare Ant went to find a place to camp, not before Archer spotted the retreating Terravians heading north, causing his smile to grow wide. ‘The next fortress is close and I have an idea how to wipe them out without going near there.’
Just then, the ant landed on an isolated overhang where he slid off the creatures back and scanned the surroundings. He instantly sensed hundreds of Terravian Demi-Gods roaming the area, prompting him to cast a shield around their campsite, keeping them hidden from the outside world.
When the girls saw this, Kela curiously questioned. ”Why did you cast that, Papa?”
”A shield that will stop them finding us,” he answered. ”I want a peaceful night before you girls head home.”
They all nodded, happy smiles on their faces as Archer began setting up the tent as the trio kept guard. Hordes of creepy humanoids rushed around, letting out horrifying screeches while searching for them. Kela looked at one of the larger hordes and muttered. ”This is what their trying to send to Thrylos.”
”Yes they’re, little sis,” Freya replied but a big smile crossed her face. ”But Papa will stop them now he’s healed. I didn’t fully believe Mothers that he was this strong, now I’ve seen it, he’ll wipe these realms out, hurting the Terravians.”
Some time later, Archer’s voice echoed out from behind the three girls. ”Tent’s set up, let me cook dinner for us.”
He stepped inside to starting making dinner for his daughters while they followed behind, getting comfortable. Half an hour later, the food was ready and he handed some spaghetti bolognaise, shocking the girls as Ravena spoke. ”This stuff smells nice, you’ve never made this for us.”
”I’m not sure, that’s the future me,” Archer chuckled in response. ”Now tell me what you ladies think about it.”
”Delicious!” she exclaimed, her voice warm with genuine appreciation as she turned to him, who was just joining them at the table. ”You’ve outdone yourself. I’m definitely getting the future you to cook this again when we get home.”
Her tone carried a playful authority, as if she were already planning the menu for their next gathering. The others followed suit, digging into the meal with enthusiasm. Archer slid into the last available chair at the table, a smile tugging at his lips as he observed the girls’ reactions.
Freya settled comfortably on his left, her posture relaxed yet regal, while Kela, with a mischievous glint in her eye, darted forward to claim the final empty seat before Ravena could. The redhead let out a mock huff, her fiery locks bouncing as she crossed her arms in fake indignation, though the twinkle in her eyes betrayed her amusement.
The group’s laughter filled the air, a light-hearted moment was surprising compared to the intensity of the previous battles. Archer was enjoying the food while girls continued eating as the four chatted about his childhood. Each one questioned him how he met all the women and their backstories.
Following that, the group finished dinner and Ravena stretched her arms, letting out a loud yawn, announcing. ”I’m going to sleep, my eyes are trying to close thanks to all the excitement.”
Archer didn’t give her a chance and vanished, surprising the trio until he scooped the redhead into a princess carry as he spoke. ”Let me help you, seems like you’ll fall over the first chance you get.”
The girl giggled before getting comfortable in his arms as he took her to the nearby bed and making sure she was warm. He leaned over and kissed her on the forehead, making her ruby red eyes glow. ”Thank you for not going mad at us for coming, we didn’t know how you’ll react.”
”I’m happy to see you three,” he answered honestly. ”It was a shock yes, but I’m not angry.”
Ravena beamed at his words before giving him a tight hug, whispering. ”I love you, father. Thanks for being so supporting and never stop tickling my belly, I remember you doing it until this day.”
Archer’s smile grew wide and nodded. ”I won’t, once I’m done here I’m going to spend time with you and your sisters.”
”Good because we all know how much you love seeing us,” she revealed. ”It embarrasses the boys but the girls love it.”
He grew even more curious but didn’t say anything as he replied. ”I love spending time with you all. Have a good sleep and I’ll see you in the morning.”
