A Journey That Changed The World

Chapter 1336 1336: I'll Free You From This Hell

Archer teleported the three of them to the lab, which was built into a waterfall with no way to get there on foot. When the snake woman saw this, she was too excited to speak, but he waved his hand that created a bridge to the entrance.

He watched Halime visibly trembling with happiness as she suddenly lunged at him and wrapped her limbs around his body. Her yellow eyes glowed before leaning forward to give him a passionate kiss.

With a grin Archer welcomed her advance, his hand finding her perky backside as her tongue slipped into his mouth, igniting a surge of lust that roared through him. While the couple did this, Inara coughed from behind them.

”Come love birds, get a room or I’ll sit on our husbands face out here in the open,” she teased as her tail swayed in excitement.

Following that, he led them across the bridge until they stepped through the entrance and were welcomed by a homely corridor lined with mana lights, prompting Halime to rush forward.

Inara was behind her with a smile as the two women were chatting about what would happen in the new lab. Archer followed them before reaching a metal door that they opened only to see a fantasy-like lab beyond.

Halime’s new workspace was a vast improvement over the one on Draconia, twice as large and fully equipped with everything she needed to craft her poisons and pursue her other projects.

”Like it Hali?” he asked with a big smile.

The young woman spun around with twinkling eyes before she nodded in agreement. ”It’s amazing! I can do so much in here and Llyniel will love this place.”

Archer chuckled and checked on what the wood elf was doing, he noticed she was reading in her room in the palace. He clicked his finger and the beautiful brunette appeared in front of him with a yelp.

Llyniel shook her head before a big smile appeared. ”What’s this place, husband?” she questioned.

”A new lab I built for Hali, I was going to create one for you but she reckons you can use this place alongside her,” he replied.

Following that, Halime dragged her around the lab as Inara appeared beside him with a smile while speaking. ”Looks like you know how to make your ladies happy.”

Archer turned to the mature woman and nodded. ”Of course I can, what would make you happy lioness?”

Inara rested her hand on her chin, lost in thought, her tail swishing back and forth with eager excitement. After a moment, she spoke. ”A training field with heavy equipment, something to give me a real workout.”

His eyes widened at her request, but a grin soon spread across his face. Closing his eyes, he began creating a gym tailored for the lioness. When Archer was done, he spoke to Halime and Llyniel. ”Girls, I’m going to show Inara her gym, stay here until I get back.”

They didn’t answer as they were too busy examining the lab like two little girls on Christmas morning. He chuckled before grabbing Inara’s waist and teleported them to the gym he built for her.

When the duo appeared in the modern-looking place, the older woman was shocked while taking in everything around her. Archer used Mana Manipulation to show her how to use every machine, which shocked the lioness.

Her red eyes landed on him as she asked in an excited voice. ”Can I try it now handsome?”

Archer nodded and Inara started working out before he returned to the swamp where the Poisonbell was. Without waiting, he traveled through the creepy area while the remaining monster did everything in their power to avoid him.

This made him chuckle before he spotted several round-looking flowers that ranged from blue to a dark red. ‘Is this the Poisonbell?’ he mused.

Without a second thought, he grabbed it, only to be pricked by something sharp. Instantly, he felt a wave of dizziness as the plant’s poison coursed through him, intent on ending his life.

But the toxin was no match for Archer; instead of death, it left him pleasantly high and in an unexpectedly cheerful mood. ”That feels good,” he muttered.

Undeterred, he gathered the remaining ones, their feeble attacks jabbing at his hand. He brushed them off without a care, tossing them into his Item Box to perish. That task finished, he peered into the murky water.

Archer shook his head before muttering. ”Now for that Screaming whatever-it-was. The cats tracked it down, but bolted the moment it started shrieking.”

He shrugged and set off through the jungle, searching for a grove of trees with dark black bark. Morena had left instructions, but he paid them no mind. Hours later, he stumbled into a vast clearing.

Moments after, a chorus of horrific shrieks pierced the air, so intense his ears popped and blood trickled out. Archer collapsed to his knees, clutching his head in agony as the trees assaulted his sensitive hearing, overwhelming him with pain.

In response, he unleashed a barrage of Mana Blasts at the trees, shattering them into splinters and silencing their dreadful assault. Rising to his feet, he wiped the sweat from his brow and vented, ”Damn trees, good riddance, they had it coming.”

Archer stood up and went around collecting the bark while sending Morena a message. ”Are you in the lab?”

The older woman nodded in confirmation, and with that, he teleported into the Domain, materializing in the necromancer’s workspace. Demacia spun around at his sudden arrival, a gasp escaping her lips before she hurried over, fussing over him.

He pushed her away with a smile. ”I’m fine, those screaming trees caught me by surprise and burst my eardrums but they’re already healed.”

The younger of the two looked relieved as Morena rushed and informed him. ”Nala and Brooke are sleeping, but we couldn’t get one ingredient as the monster was stronger than we expected.”

When Archer heard this, his eyes narrowed and spoke in a stern voice. ”Close your eyes and imagine the place.”

Morena did as he said and pictured the chamber where the powerful monster was only to realize what he was doing. But it was already too late as he smiled. ”Make sure to heal them before I wake up.”

The necromancer tried to stop him but he teleported to the dungeon and felt a deadly aura bear down on him. Archer steeled himself as a massive dragon appeared, but this one was twisted because of the Terravians.

‘They expriemented on this thing,’ he thought only to go wide eyed when realizing its color. ‘White!’

Just as his head spun and the power of the creature threatened to overwhelm him, Tiamat’s raged-filled voice echoed in his mind. ‘My love! Get a grip of yourself, you need to kill this beast, its not longer a dragon but an abomination of everything we are. Wipe it out and let’s the previous White Dragon rest.’

Archer shook his head and nodded before declaring. ”I’ll free you from this hell you find yourself.”

The mutated dragon stopped moving forward as a menacing reply came from its rotten maw. ”It’s too late! Your predecessor is gone and has become our weapon to finally defeat you!”

When hearing that, his eyes widened before muttering in realization. ”You targeted my family to lure me here as your leaders knew I’d come for the ingredients.”

With a casual shrug, Archer resolved to confront the beast. He channeled energy into a surging Mana Blast that he released seconds later. The blast crashed into the dragon’s legs, triggering a deafening explosion as the creature let out a thunderous roar.

Undeterred, the dragon lunged forward, its claws tearing at the ground. Archer, quick as a shadow, Blinked out of its path, reappearing in an instant above the monstrous form. He plummeted down, slamming onto its scaly back with force.

He followed that up with a relentless volley of Mana Blasts, each strike crackling with power, but to his surprise, it did nothing to the dead dragon as it swung its tail that slammed into his body.

Archer slammed into the nearby wall, the impact shattering his bones. A pained grunt escaped his lips as he clawed his way out of the jagged crater, blood dripping from his mouth.

He barely had time to steady himself before the dragon reared back, its maw glowing with a toxic glow as it prepared to unleash a stream of corrosive acid. His eyes widened in alarm, but salvation came in an unexpected flash.

A colossal snake erupted from a shimmering portal, coiling and striking the dragon with a bone-rattling crash. The beast roared in fury, and Archer mumbled under his breath while his head spun. ”Mary!”

In that chaotic moment, Ari, his bonded Elemental materialized beside him, her voice low as she muttered an incantation. A shimmering barrier flared to life, deflecting the deadly acid just in time.
