The Invincible Full-Moon System

Chapter 1736: Heir of Moon and Stars

Chapter 1736: Heir of Moon and Stars

Just like everyone who came before her, drinking the blood over the threshold is not easy.

It’s especially so when she was trying to exceed the threshold alone.

Rex didn’t know how it really felt for those he turned, but from her struggling expression each time she swallowed a mouthful of blood, it almost seemed like drinking his blood was akin to drinking alcohol when someone is not used to it.

Forcing oneself to drink it alone is quite impossible, as the body was fervently rejecting it.

So, outside help would be greatly effective.

“Don’t give up yet, you’re not even nearing your real limit, much less passing your limit.”

Princess Davina knew that already, without even Rex saying so.

And she was annoyed by his comment.

Before she could even shoot him a warning glare to keep quiet while she pushed herself to drink more, a startled yelp slipped out of her lips. Rex had suddenly hooked her legs, sweeping them out from under her, and sent her to the ground.

She opened her mouth to demand an explanation, but froze when Rex already mounted her.

Now, she lay on the ground defenselessly while Rex sat on her stomach.

Ignoring her confused look, Rex placed his left hand, that already regenerated, against her chest.

He pinned her down, keeping her still.

As for her other hand, he bit it hard with his fangs—opening the cut wider than before.

Blood trickled down to his forearm, and some even dripped onto Princess Davina’s face.

“I’ll help you reach your limit,” Rex said with an excited smile. “Keep your mouth open. Don’t resist.”

Giving no time for Princess Davina to respond, he already covered her mouth with his hand again.

Blood forced its way into her mouth and down her throat.

Even though she heard what Rex said and wanted to do exactly that, her body moved instinctively as she tried to resist. Her legs struggled, and her torso twisted, trying to push Rex away, but he was already anchored to her tightly.

Next, she gripped his arm in an attempt to move it away, but she still failed.

Nothing she does could push him away.

’I’m stronger than him, but I can’t push him away?’ Princess Davina thought as her blurred vision stared at Rex above her. ’It’s not like he was overpowering me. It’s more like my body is refusing to exert its strength to fight him. Like trying to bite off my own finger—my body subconsciously stopped me from really doing it.’

Princess Davina never felt like this before.

One side wanted her to stop drinking the blood, while the other stopped her from exerting strength.

It was a surreal, conflicting state of being.

But Rex showed no mercy as he manipulated his own mind, making himself angrier by the second.

In response, his heart pumped blood across his body faster.

As a result, the blood welling from the deep gash in his palm surged in a heavier, more urgent flow.

Rex needed to force-feed her for another ten minutes until the first sign of transformation appeared.

Pssh…

His eyes flickered when Princess Davina’s body began to let out violent steam.

It was almost like she was being cooked alive.

“Hot… It’s hot…”

From her covered mouth, Rex could hear her complaining about the heat, but what he was waiting for the most was the exceeding blood limit notification, or at least her skeletal structure began to be rebuilt, mirroring that of a Werewolf more.

But she was only steaming.

Is it because she’s that strong? Or is this unique to her transformation?

Rex was confused.

Even back when he turned Mira, at this point, she was already writhing in pain on the ground.

However, in Princess Davina’s case, she was only feeling hot, and her anatomy doesn’t seem to be going into transformation. Though this was odd to see, Rex didn’t stop feeding her blood, deciding to wait for the notification he was waiting for to appear.

Only then could he really know whether this was unique to her or not.

A few more minutes passed.

Instead of seeing more changes to Princess Davina, Rex instead felt a warm feeling on his back.

“Hmm…?” He looked over his shoulder and was greeted by a surprising sight.

Behind him, the moons were siphoning their moonlight towards them, like the world has its own natural spotlight, and it was now focusing on them. Other than that, the starry stars above also seemed to glow brighter than before.

Each one sparkled with a unique luster that felt magical.

Rex stared at Princess Davina for a good moment and then decided to haul her off the ground.

He picked her up by her face and walked out of the magical tree’s canopy.

Once they stepped free of the tree’s shadow, Rex raised Princess Davina toward the open sky, compelled by instinct more than thought. Since a Werewolf’s strength was born from the moon, exposing her fully to it felt essential—something that would hasten—and perfect the whole process of transforming her into a pack member.

And as expected, she responded well to the sky.

Under the bath of moonlight, her body steamed harder, causing her to whimper silently in pain.

“Endure it,” Rex instructed demandingly. “Don’t lose out to Mira. She drank more blood than this.”

Of course, that was a lie.

Rex might’ve shoved his severed hand into Mira’s mouth like a madman back then, all because of the shift in his personality, but even that brutal moment hadn’t given nearly as much blood as the princess was consuming now.

Mira’s drinking had been frantic, yes—but Princess Davina had been at it for over ten minutes.

A steady and relentless stream.

By this point, she had surely surpassed Mira’s intake several times over.

Litres upon litres of blood.

But knowing that Princess Davina has the pride of a noble and also an extreme genius, she was certainly unwilling to lose out to the likes of Mira. Just the gap in their status alone was extremely big, but the gap in their talent is even bigger.

She was overwhelmed a few seconds ago.

Now, her eyes focused again, burning with a competitive flame.

And eventually, the notification he had been waiting for all this time finally appeared.

<Notice: Davina is nearing her blood limit!>

Instead of stopping, Rex forced her to drink more.

<Notice: Davina has exceeded her blood limit! It’s advised to stop feeding her more blood!>

Rex nodded his head and finally let his palm regenerate.

No more blood forced its way into Princess Davina’s throat, but it doesn’t matter.

Finally, the transformation began.

<Notice: the user feeds too much blood to Davina, exceeding the tolerable amount of blood her body can take—making her transformation almost nearing a perfect Werewolf! Her survivability will depend solely on her willpower.>

Swish!

Rex was still reading the notifications when a strange shift pulled him back to reality.

Out of nowhere, Princess Davina’s weight simply vanished from his grasp.

His head snapped up, and his breath hitched when moonlight and also another form of energy was now outlining her body, tracing every curve and edge with an otherworldly glow. She now seethed with both steam and energy.

And as he let her go, she began to ascend, almost like she was being pulled skyward by the moon.

Considering the devious transformations of all pack members in the past, Rex was expecting there to be much more blood and much more grotesque—as Princess Davina was by far the strongest person he had ever turned.

In fact, she was stronger than even himself.

All pack members that he had from the Mortal Realm were turned when they were weaker than Rex.

That even includes Flunra.

But now, in the Spirit Realm, there are some who were turned when they are stronger than Rex.

Since there are not many changes in the transformation process—when he turned Mira, he expected the same with Princess Davina. It seemed he thought wrong. At this moment, there was no blood spaying. No screams. No muscles contorting and skeletal structures morphing.

Princess Davina only bathed in an otherworldly glow as she levitated above, right before the moon.

Her entire being was now a glowing silvery silhouette.

<Notice: Davina’s bloodline rank matched the user’s bloodline perfectly!>

<Davina’s Werewolf bloodline output will match the rank of the user’s bloodline!>

“Match me…?” Rex sucked in a cold breath in shock.

He recalled that this bloodline, as the Grand Royal Black Werewolf, was supposed to be extremely close to the Origin-rank bloodline. But even so, Davina’s transformation would result in a bloodline that’d match his.

“As expected of the peerless talent of the empire,” Rex crossed his hands. “I shouldn’t be surprised.”

<Notice: Davina is stronger in terms of strength and bloodline compared to the user!>

<Unable to determine the transformation path.>

<Davina’s Werewolf bloodline output will not be influenced by the user!>

Swoosh!

Rex stayed his ground as a violent surge of energy from Princess Davina washed over him.

He watched calmly as the moonlight morphed her entire being into a cocoon of light.

It was his first time seeing a transformation like this.

One that was close to this transformation was Evelyn’s luna form, but he only heard about it from Kyran; he wasn’t there to witness it first-hand. But even so, the similarity was as shallow as on the surface, not beyond that.

As the process continued, the countless stars accompanying the moon in the sky glowed brightly.

All of them bathed her with more power.

It was a spectacular sight from below—Princess Davina as the center of the entire universe.

Unlike the normal transformation, her transformation was serene and beautiful.

Some might doubt whether she was really turning into a Werewolf, as this was closer to becoming a deity.

But what else could it be when she was fed with Rex’s blood?

<Please brand Davina with the Silverstar Mark to finish the transformation process.>

Rex lowered his arms when the time to finish the transformation came.

He was about to leap, but realized he didn’t need to—as for some reason, he was also pulled from the ground, almost as if Princess Davina was a gravitational source that pulled everything around her. Even as he neared, the energy coming from her was incredible. Different.

It’s unlike any Werewolf Rex has ever seen before.

I’m guessing the other energy on her was energy associated with the stars. Does she have moonlight and starlight energy? Is that even possible? But then again, the System said her transformation is not influenced by me, so this is her own mutation.

Rex didn’t fight the pulling force.

He allowed himself to be lifted from the ground and pulled towards her silhouette of light.

Once he levitated before her, he looked at the Silverstar Mark on the palm of his hand.

It was throbbing—beckoning him to mark Princess Davina and make her a pack member.

Rex scanned her body with his eyes, determining where he should put the mark as it shouldn’t be on a place that could be easily seen. He shouldn’t put it in somewhere inappropriate, either, so he decided that on her hand was the best place.

She could always wear gloves. Okay, her hand it is.

Deciding that her hand was the best place to put the mark on, Rex reached out his hand and branded her.

And the moment he did, the Silverstar Mark pulsed with energy—and seared its shape into the back of her hand. Rex watched as a burning, glowing line in the shape of a star etched itself on her skin, and its inner part began to be filled with pristine white color.

As soon as it was completed, Rex was startled by a sudden gush of power that pushed him back.

Rex landed back down hard, and when he looked up, he was greeted by the stark change to the scenery.

“Her transformation evoked two phenomena?” He questioned with a mild smirk. “Is she showing off?”

<Davina Castillon has been fully transformed and registered as an Outer Pack Member!>

<Unique Bloodline: Imperial Stellar Werewolf Heir>

<Congratulations on expanding the Silverstar Pack further!>
