Inside the sword tower, Kent sat with his eyes closed, a potent blood aura pouring out of his body.
He is like a blood demon who has submerged his soul and body in blood, and he is now consumed by bloodlust. His entire being is as if he were made from blood.
If anyone with a weak will were to see him now, they would, without a doubt, break into a cold sweat and collapse.
His aura at the moment is dangerous.
When Kent formed his first Blood Core Gate, he used blood essence from beings within the range of a high world. Although most of those beasts were suppressed to the Heavenly Ascension stage, they were powerful.
However, the ones he is absorbing now are even more powerful. He obtained this blood essence from Paragon’s universe, so the suppression has no effect on them.
In fact, the Nirvana stage warriors he fought and killed were all adding to his strength now, and as such, the aura pouring from him is just too potent.
Inside his soul sea, the second red gate appeared, and the core was forming inside.
The first gate had already saturated after absorbing more blood essence. Thanks to it saturating, he had already reached the Spirit King stage.
And now, as the second Blood Core Gate is forming, his cultivation is slowly rising.
The gate rose into the air, towering several kilometers high.
Kent hasn’t attempted to use the seven Blood Essences he took from the gods Vexthra defeated back in the Paragon universe.

Inside his soul sea, the second gate opened wide, featuring a red core with two golden rings spinning around it.
Comparing the second Core Gate to the first one, the difference is plain. The first Blood Core Gate has two cores: one red and one green.
The red core is the Blood Core, which has one golden ring lined with runes spinning around it, while the green is the flame core he had formed back in Hell.
Now, he had formed the second, and it has two golden rings.
However, just when the second core is formed, the rings around both cores start spinning.
Kent, who never expected this, snapped his eyes open, releasing a wave of pressure.
The blood essence in the air and all those stored in his soul universe are being absorbed by the two cores at a rapid pace.
As they do that, messages keep flashing across Kent’s eyes…

Kent widened his eyes, seeing more of the blood essence still getting absorbed.
“No way. So that is how it works, huh.”
Because he had formed the first Blood Core Gate back when he had already reached the Peak Core Formation stage, he didn’t know that saturating the cores is the only way to level.
To him, forming the Blood Core Gates is the only way. But now, he seems to have seen the path forward, and knowing he was nowhere near saturating both cores, his blood boiled to go on a rampage and absorb more blood.
However, he would have to hold on for now. He still has a lot to do, so going on a slaughter now is not the way forward.
Thankfully, three weeks later, every last blood essence except for the seven god blood essences was absorbed, but he had yet to saturate both cores. Kent looked at the final message, and he was shocked by what he saw.
He expected to make some progress, but he never expected to have made this much progress in a single seclusion.

“I am only 2 levels away from reaching the Spirit Lord stage.” Kent smiled happily. He didn’t really expect this much progress, not when he had just gotten to the High World.
He expected to at least reach the Spirit King stage for now. However, he underestimated the effect of blood essence from beasts and people who are much stronger than him.
“This is good. With this, unless I meet an actual immortal on my journey to find Elina, then nothing could stand in my way.”
Kent clenched his fist, feeling energized just from seeing the message that had appeared before him.
If it were only Heavenly Ascension stage cultivators coming after him, he wouldn’t have minded. However, there are immortals now in his wake, and killing them will not be easy.
Of course, since they would be suppressed, he knew they would die if they came after him.
However, he knew immortals had treasures that could pose a threat to him, so he was now preparing well before leaving.
“I just need to have my blood bath before leaving. However, before that, I must handle my Sword and Alchemy path. I must become a Pill King and Sword King.”
Kent is a Pill Saint; however, he had already met one of the two requirements to become a Pill Sage. Now, all that is required of him is to concoct one Tier 9 pill.
He is now ready for that. Once that is done, he will tackle Pill King…
However, before that, he must first fulfill his requirement to become a Sword King, which is as simple as gaining six more Sword Enlightenments.
He has a sure way of attaining four, and the last two, he already has an idea.
“I must use the four memory keys for Jest and level up my swordsmanship before leaving. Knowing the kind of danger I will be facing, it is better to be ready.”
Of course, he also has some memory keys for the Faceless Assassin; however, he knew that he could wait for now. He will have plenty of time to handle that later.
He then retrieved an item from his space ring. “I really should use it before leaving.”
The item is a treasure that can help him create any technique of his choice by sacrificing other techniques.
He bought it from the tower when he had enough tower points. It was one of the reasons why he learned all the flame techniques in the Flame Tower.
Now, he wants to use it to create a powerful flame technique that he will utilize while working on forming his second flame core.
For now, he can use the Finger of Destruction twice, maybe thrice, before running out of energy, so he needs something to replace it for now.
Sacrificing dozens of weak flame techniques to form one powerful flame technique is worth it.
Kent looked at some other messages that had appeared. Soon, however, his expression changed.
“The hell,” he teleported away the next second.
